It is so unusual for french people to win in such conditions ! I thought it was a mistake, perhaps they missed one turn ? But here it is ... and Louise Maraval the fourth runner, who made the whole job is a native french ! She cleared her turn in 50.61! She was on her way, but this time would have guaranteed her gold in the 400m flat of these championships! The question is: Why didn' t she run on the 400 m individual ?
Well, "Maraval" is a Spanish family name... Maraval is an excellent heptathlon athlete that has exploded this year in 400m running the 400 "indoor" in "52.85", which is almost 1 second better than her outdoor personal best, but I don't think she is what you call "Native French"... Whatever you mean by "native", and being obvious that central and north European countries have been traditionally and historically racist and xenophobic against southern European countries and peoples, african and other countries and "races" (races do not exist, arguably, in between the human kind, but different "phenotypes" -and also "genotypes"-, what makes things complicated to clarify; and this racism is something that is gradually changing and starting to disappear just now, since the second decade of this 21st century); and being also obvious that many or most of the French sportsmen and sport-women, specially the most successful, are descendent of foreigners, mainly from the black african or Maghreb French ex-colonies, is probably interesting to clarify that "Maraval" is a Spanish family name. She is likely to have spanish origins; probably descendent of some of the spaniard families that emigrated during the 60's and 70's and during the Franco era to France and to other European countries.
MARAVAL is a typical French name, assuming that 1500 years of seniority and legitimacy is enough for your mind to consider it so! Note in passing that for 2000 years, we have been colonized by the Romans, and therefore only 0.5% of the truly endemic names have survived... France, as we recognize it historically, only begins with Charlemagne, therefore in the year 800, but especially from the Capétiens, Hugues Capet, therefore in the 10th century. At that time, the conflicts with the Muslims and Arab invasion were over, at least with us! I will also specify that during the Neolithic, France was mainly repopulated by Indo-European migrations, nevertheless especially Germanic in recent times... However, are we all of German origin, No! but a weak and pretentious mind can believe it! My own surname is Germanic in its linguistic origin! But for 1000 years these francized names have been recognized as French. The evolution of syllables is not due to chance, but to the assimilation of foreign contributions! I explain to you the reality of France, which you ignore, but which is identical everywhere! A French name is a name that time; the centuries have modulated, modified and integrated! Integration, assimilation is what makes names and people French, and nothing else culturally speaking ! Maraval is typically French, even more, it is a toponym. A place name! Several hamlets or localities bear this name in Languedoc. It is in principle a deformation of Malaval (= the bad valley). It is in the Tarn and neighboring departments (12, 34) that the name is most widespread. The word "Alambic" comes from the Arabic "al-ʾinbīq", itself borrowed from the late Greek "ambix" (= vase). However, "Alambic" is French, "al-ʾinbīq" is Arabic and "ambix" is Greek, and these last two are not French, even used in France! You may consult a psychiatrist. You don' know me but you explain i would be racist and so on. When one doesn' t know, it is better to shut up. I perfectly know history, may carrer is ended and i have been a well know man of international heritage. Then, my wife is Jewish, moreover, from Algeria (North Africa, Tizi Ouzou), thus and mix of people, cultures, and religions .... My descendants also . Here is a little information that should close you big mouth. Also, i am an ethnomusicologist and draw music score of native people in endemic countries ... i sing in thirteen languages ... my son a bit more. Perhaps can you pretend to a better career and multicultural life ? However, there are blacks, whites, pinks, yellows and many diversely mixed people, but with significant racial or cultural predominances. Such is life and we must accept it! I prove by my personal and professional life, my clear thinking and respectful of people. But on the other hand, your spirit and your agreed thought, often relayed in the invasive mediums which harm all and serve nothing, I do not agree with it. The whites don't bother me, the yellows don't bother me, the maroons or the blacks don't bother me, i love them all ! It's only the idiots who bother me, when they smear my comments.

C'est la plus petite des françaises qui a été la plus grande ! 🎉
Fantastic finish for France
It is so unusual for french people to win in such conditions ! I thought it was a mistake, perhaps they missed one turn ? But here it is ... and Louise Maraval the fourth runner, who made the whole job is a native french ! She cleared her turn in 50.61! She was on her way, but this time would have guaranteed her gold in the 400m flat of these championships! The question is: Why didn' t she run on the 400 m individual ?
c quoi une native french????
…
Well, "Maraval" is a Spanish family name... Maraval is an excellent heptathlon athlete that has exploded this year in 400m running the 400 "indoor" in "52.85", which is almost 1 second better than her outdoor personal best, but I don't think she is what you call "Native French"... Whatever you mean by "native", and being obvious that central and north
European countries have been traditionally and historically racist and xenophobic against southern European countries and peoples, african and other countries and "races" (races do not exist, arguably, in between the human kind, but different "phenotypes" -and also "genotypes"-, what makes things complicated to clarify; and this racism is something that is gradually changing and starting to disappear just now, since the second decade of this 21st century); and being also obvious that many or most of the French sportsmen and sport-women, specially the most successful, are descendent of foreigners, mainly from the black african or Maghreb French ex-colonies, is probably interesting to clarify that "Maraval" is a Spanish family name.
