Happy for Jamaica, but still feel bad at how the Christian Brothers athlete ended up. He had used up so much of his energy when he really didn't need to because he was so far ahead. Also, he should have just continued to focus on finishing strides, but I think the noise from crowd scared him and gave the hunter(JC) more adrenalin.
@@Vgolding1 lol i know i shouldn't be laughing but that mek mi laugh yf bout noise from the crowd🤣. It was a good run though he got back up and finished the race so props to him.
First he glanced to his right and then got tied up in his stride and feet buckled under the pressure and fell. I felt it for him because who would have ever thunk that JC would have won that race...wild finish + epic finish
The big mistake the CB runner made was looking around. If he had just run the same out of breath he would have at least got a medal or win but excellent win for JC team.
That’s the obvious mistake, it the REAL mistake is his coach. He should have been in his ear telling him, “when you have a lead like this, go out hard first 200, then rhythm run the next 300 hundred. Pace a little down the next 100, then bring it home. This is so you can respond. The Jamaican runner did so much to close the distance he would have had a burst. Even if he tried, in his mind, he would be thinking that’s all this kid got.
@@Keepdapocket no actually he is my brother, he reached his physical limit while racing people four years older than him, the mistake is you, who probaly isnt a runner, judging a guy who wouldve ran a half mile in 1:50

Take those excuses elsewhere. Don’t care if it’s your brother. He messed up or his coach messed up. You decide which one did
I feel it for the leader though. Sorry that he fell. He deserved the silver. The pressure caused him to over stride, and so he fell. He should have never looked behind. He has guts though. Still managed to get up and cross the line. Congrats again JC. Goose pimples all over. Really awesome race. The anchor ran his own race and kept his composure.
