😀 Seeing the comments now. So, the video is heavily edited and since we had less time we could not explain the reason of why we decided not to have kids. No, it's not because we want to invest instead :) The reason is because both Shameek and I realise what a big responsibility it is to bring children into this world and raise them to be good citizens. We felt we were not equipped enough to handle that kind of responsibility and we don't want to come under peer pressure and have kids and have them curse us later for being horrible parents 😆We regard people who choose to have kids with great respect and admiration. It is just not for us and we are happy to be able to have parents who understand our choice. Btw all our dogs have been rescues but we feel they've come into our lives and rescued us 🥰 and yes, we have 4(!) children.
Not a viable plan in life. I am not here to be an advisor or advocate for life but a life without a heir is regretful and materialistic. A child does not have to be brought up in the world with heavy costs but when you both grow old, you'd have no one to care for you. Old age homes are not anywhere near the care a parent receives from their own child. I'm saying this because my mom passed away in my hands 5 years ago and I know how much support they need from us as a child. Take care. Hope you have a wonderful life.
Good decision . People say you won't have anyone to take care of you when you grew old. It's like taking care of the children for 20+ year and they take care of you for like 10-15 year .Not the best option. Enjoy while you can .
What a great response by you 👏 Everyone expects you to take on the responsibility of the kids and figure it out somehow later. Great that you thought it through 👍
Having a partner who shares your mindset and offers support can be incredibly motivating and help you achieve significant accomplishments more easily thats why its so inspirational 😄
In their case it is not just a compatible partner - they are a group of 50 people or so who invested in a huge piece of land. They are lucky to be part of such a group.
While everyone is behind judging their family planning decision, I have full appreciation them. For isb degrees it was easy to get a huge salary in an mnc and have kids. Instead they decided to risk with start ups. They are contributors to economy and we need more of them rather then passouts go for mnc jobs and keep themselves high. Shameek said several times that they are not great examples to follow and they did not do all things right. Please appreciate their honesty in sharing so much of personal and financial stuff on social media inviting lot of judgements. They need to be appreciated for every word they shared here. My full appreciation and best wishes....
