Two factors that have definitely helped them achieve their goals faster was working abroad and having no children. Having said that I would still give them full credit for planning andinvesting wisely in order to live their best life. 👌
Greed is very powerful thing in human. 1 cr bana liya phir bhookh 2 cr ki hogi. Only your mindset can stop this greed to live life peacefully. Great couple
Oh bhaisaab, it's not a question of greed. This fancy house that they bought for 6 lacs will today cost 6 crore. So today you cannot earn 1 crore and say "bas bahaut hogaya." By the time you earn 1 crore, whatever you wanted for 1 crore has already doubled or tripled in price, so you will just keep on chasing targets indefinitely. All this fancy advice they are giving might have worked in 1990s when everything was cheap but today you can't retire at 50 and travel the world, especially if you have kids and know that when they grow up, there will be no jobs left because everything is being done by chatGPT.
@@malliyana201 Interestingly we retired at 50 in today's times and traveling the world. When the inflation goes up, so does the interest rates, salaries and value of the assets. Something that we touch upon in one of our videos.
@@TheFIREdCoupleThat's not the point. The point is you guys started working in the 90s, that was the boom period, the salaries grew exponentially in the next decades. Today the scenario is totally the opposite. The salary of an entry level Infosys employee is still 3.25 Lpa which was 3.16 Lpa in 2002. Just imagine the value of 3.16 L 22 years ago and now. So the growth opportunities in career have virtually vanished. Today in India a couple can't even think of retiring at 50 and travel the world even if they want to unless they work for 15 years in the US and invest heavily in the stock markets and grow their corpus to 100 crores by then.
@@religionofpeace782 Exactly. If you see videos from 5 years ago people would take about how you could retire once you had 2 crores INR. Today the videos say that the MINIMUM is 1 million USD or 8 crore INR. In such a short time, the target has gone up 4x, whereas due to covid etc. salaries have stayed same or in some cases reduced. Given the rapid growth of retirement milestone number it is safe to say that within the next 5 years, the goal will move from 1 million USD to 5 million USD, or 40 crore INR. That Infosys fresher with 3 LPA can never hope to catch up, and now after covid even H1 programs have drastically reduced, so onsite earning is also no longer a viable option. People who started career in the 90s are like those Uber drivers when Uber first launched in India. The drivers were earning 2-3 lacs per month and mocking software engineers for earning less than 1L per month. Today after Uber has stripped away all incentives and extras, Uber drivers earn less than 30k per month and struggle to make ends meet. So an Uber driver from 5 years ago saying "drive Uber and retire in 5 years" does not resonate in today's context.
Yes. That can be a drawback indeed. Difficult to find that right balance between enjoying life while also saving enough. Was the toughest part for us too.

I’ve been forced to find additional sources of income as I got retrenched. I barely have time to continue trading and watch my investments since I had my second daughter. Biggest lesson i learnt in 2022 in the stock market is that nobody knows what is going to happen next, so practice some humility and follow a strategy with a long term edge.
Nobody knows anything; You need to create your own process, manage risk, and stick to the plan, through thick or thin, While also continuously learning from mistakes and improving.
Uncertainty... it took me 5 years to stop trying to predict what bout to happen in market based on charts studying, cause you never know. not having a mentor cost me 5 years of pain I learn to go we’re the market is wanting to go and keep it simple with discipline.
I think this is something I should do, but I've been stalling for a long time now. I don't really know which firm to work with; I feel they are all the same.

Amazing and inspiring journey, Yogesh and Sheema! What is the ballpark annual expense that you have factored in? Considering globetrotting in the agenda, the planned expenses, I would imagine, would be quite chunky.
I think leaving the issue if children aside we can focus on the other aspects of their journey. Agreed that raising your own children will substantially change every aspect of this journey and in some instances make the narrative totally inapplicable, but the small tips can be used by all is my thoughts on this. Good work sharing your story.

they never mentionedd their networth - it was said 35x+ annual expenses. given their life, I think their annual expenses could be ~75-100 lacs. so they have accumulated 25-35 Cr! but then with 70% income coming from passive sources, ~30 Cr can yield about 90 lacs annually (assuming 2-3% yield from real estate/dividends/ etc.) .. Conclusion: If the above is true - the fact is one needs to cross 25 Cr networth to be really free and live a near-luxurious life.
Great that they achieved , key takes for me are they were hyper focused on achieving this assuming no kids based on quick google search, and inherited family properties to accelerate FIRE. Can not be replicated by 99% of the viewership
The fact that salespeople still try and woo men assuming they decide on purchase decisions is so old school. I and my husband had the same experience when buying a car even though it was for me.😅
Indians earning in inr cannot take their example and benchmark , coz earning in foreign currency and comming back to india and spending in inr .. your sorted. plus a couple without any kids !! that would be even more money in the bank
You can get thounds of people who don't work and are financially independent, but they don't know these fancy terms andveven thiscthatbthey are financially independent like rich farmers of northern india... big real estate owners... etc etc....

@TheFIREdCouple - Congratulations on reaching FIRE. Great to hear your story. We are close to 40 and planning for FI by 50.
I love how equal they are in their relationship without any gender stereotypes. It just reflects from their conversation ❤ More power to them. 🙌
Seems like a very nice couple that has a lot of respect for each other.
Yes in tv screen

ONE OF THE BEST UA-cam CHANNEL FOR Great Great learning ... thanks for creating content
You guys did great, Yogesh & Seema
Loved the chemistry between both , apart from the meticulous planning ❤
This interview is FIRE!
Haha .. thanks!
No wonder, he retired as VP from oracle and they seem to have no dependents.
to put it simply, the dude got opportunity abroad, bought real estate with that, started getting rents on it (primarily). But not everyone gets a chance like this.
Fantastic vlog 💐 extremely informative and supportive to my own FIRE goals as I have a child and old parents too. Anyways Good wishes 👍👍👍
Beautiful and valuable video ever i have seen on retirement planning, inspired couple and very nice financial planning they have done.
Thank You Very Much to Sir and Mam to share wonderful experience, this really helps me to make better life.
Thank You to Wint Channel for beautiful content.
The financial planning and adventurous spirit of this couple are truly inspiring! Their method of balancing savings with enjoyable life experiences offers a great blueprint for those looking to achieve financial independence and a fulfilling retirement. 🌍
We agree!
Today morning me and my wife talking about when we need to wake up as we wish to do....seems to be long way...
Two factors that have definitely helped them achieve their goals faster was working abroad and having no children. Having said that I would still give them full credit for planning andinvesting wisely in order to live their best life. 👌
Time worthy conversation.Thank You.
Such an amazing couple. True couple goals.
I watched their UA-cam contents.. all were amazing. God bless the couple.
I have been following this guys since long time. Great to see them here :)
Thanks for following :-)
Did anyone else catch that Cyberopolis presentation? Blown away by what they're planning to do.
They both are so humble good to see them so rooted god bless them
Thanks a lot. Appreciate your comment and god bless you too.
Loved the interview.. Amazing planning and execution. Wish you all the best for your world travels 🙂
@@malliyana201 true basic concept of inflation
Great discussion. Thanks for the overview.
Drawback of FIRE strategy is one who want to achieve it gets stuck with fire number Target instead of enjoying journey called life.
Yes. That can be a drawback indeed. Difficult to find that right balance between enjoying life while also saving enough. Was the toughest part for us too.
yes cant enjoy the present. but defo can stop being an employee sooner.
Amazing video, A friend of mine referred me to a financial adviser sometime ago and we got talking about investment and money. I started investing with $120k and in the first 2 months , my portfolio was reading $274,800. Crazy right!, I decided to reinvest my profit and gets more interesting. For over a year we have been working together making consistent profit just bought my second home 2 weeks ago and care for my family.
I’ve been forced to find additional sources of income as I got retrenched. I barely have time to continue trading and watch my investments since I had my second daughter. Do you think I should take a break for a while from the market and focus on other things or return whenever I have free time or is it a continuous process? Thanks..
@@FlorentGulliver Quitting may not be the best approach if you ask me. This is where an AI comes into the picture. I barely have time to trade myself as my job swallows up most of my time. *MARGARET MOLLI ALVEY* , a licensed fiduciary whom has made me over 5 figures in profit in less than seven months, handles my investments. I could leave you a lead if you need help.
@@JulianaBondtsG Oh please I’d love that. Thanks!

In Anime, these people are called ADVENTURERS. Love them.
I realized that the secret to making a million is saving for a better investment. I always tell myself you don't need that new Maserati or that vacation just yet. That mindset helped me make more money investing. For example last year I invested 80k in stocks and made about $246k,but guess what? I put it all back and traded again and now I am rounding up close to a million
Hello
But how did you 2.5x almost on your investment??that's great returns
Beautiful interview!
Lovely couple, wish you both the best❤
Just increased my stake in Cyberopolis. With the current momentum, it feels like a no-brainer.
Cyberopolis and its approach to decentralized finance could redefine the whole sector. Eye-opening stuff.
Exploring international trips and visiting international tourism is good. But as an Indian look at tourism places within india and explore them. There by good support for increasing indian economy...😊😊
Absolutely! We've traveled a lot in India and so much still to travel and see!
Being content is most important.
Aileen Gertrude Tippy is my adviser and she is highly qualified and experienced in the financial market. She has extensive knowledge of portfolio diversity and is considered an expert in the field. I recommend researching her credentials further. She has many years of experience and is a valuable resource for anyone looking to navigate the financial market.
Thank you for this tip. It was easy to find your coach. Did my due diligence on her before scheduling a phone call with her. She seems proficient considering her résumé.
Have been waiting for it. Thanks!
Thanks a lot. Glad you liked it.
Superb … very enriching video …. I loved the way they look sorted … Travelling the world is something I totally resonate with …
Gender bias is also relatable …
Very insightful conversation
They managed every thing,
Systematically
Hallelujah!!!!!!!!!!! The daily Jesus devotion has been a huge part of my transformation. God is Good 🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌was owing a loan of £47k to the bank for my son's brain surgery(Samuel). Finest interview🎉
Amazing and inspiring journey, Yogesh and Sheema! What is the ballpark annual expense that you have factored in? Considering globetrotting in the agenda, the planned expenses, I would imagine, would be quite chunky.
0:52 Of courses they're rich, ex VP of Oracle. What do you expect?
I think leaving the issue if children aside we can focus on the other aspects of their journey. Agreed that raising your own children will substantially change every aspect of this journey and in some instances make the narrative totally inapplicable, but the small tips can be used by all is my thoughts on this. Good work sharing your story.
Loved the couple ,Long live guys.
do they have kids ? how do they manage studies & wedding etc ?
No kids. Primary home gifted by parents. Then the equation is a different one than 99% of other folks. It takes a lot less to retire.
Awesome interview. Seema and Yogesh you guys are so in-sync, that on its own is inspirational enough! Someone here wrote: Couple Goals!!! So true!!
Enjoy your world travels!!
You have a well deserved free time now after the work grind in the last years. One of the BEST people I know ❤
Glad you enjoyed it!
Target earning in dollars & higher salaries & you dont need to worry about anything else.
Yes. The trick is to increase your income and monetize your skills in the best possible manner.
With Onsite travel and earning at early stage of career. It’s quite possible to achieve FIRE at 50
Amazing conversation..!
loved it. am absolutely for joint decisions whatever it may be
The best strategy to create wealth is to do business.
Wrong example, staying outside for so many years, both husband and wife working. I think 50 years is too late.
they never mentionedd their networth - it was said 35x+ annual expenses. given their life, I think their annual expenses could be ~75-100 lacs. so they have accumulated 25-35 Cr! but then with 70% income coming from passive sources, ~30 Cr can yield about 90 lacs annually (assuming 2-3% yield from real estate/dividends/ etc.) ..
Conclusion: If the above is true - the fact is one needs to cross 25 Cr networth to be really free and live a near-luxurious life.
Amazing Interview !!! Loved their clarity 👍
Thank you
Why people in 50/55 call it early retirement. 45 below can be considered early retirement.
what about their kids? need to support them financially for their education etc still???
Awesome couple ❤❤
Thank you!
Great that they achieved , key takes for me are they were hyper focused on achieving this assuming no kids based on quick google search, and inherited family properties to accelerate FIRE. Can not be replicated by 99% of the viewership
Wonderful & inspiring!
Thanks a lot!
Cyberopolis's approach to blockchain scalability is revolutionary. This could be the breakthrough we've been waiting for.
Retiring at 50 is FI not FIRE.
Looks like his career was outside India in Netherlands and Singapore.
So is it retiring at 58-60 ?
The fact that salespeople still try and woo men assuming they decide on purchase decisions is so old school. I and my husband had the same experience when buying a car even though it was for me.😅
Absolutely! women need to participate in financial decision making and make it an equal discussion while men need to revisit their assumptions.
Loved this couple. Superb
Secret of FIRE!! Travel abroad.
Wow. What's the point of money when you have to manage the expenses each month!!
Great conversation.
thanks @WintWealthYT
for such an awesome video, I loved it very informative and clear, cheers :)
Glad it was helpful!
A very nice chat with good insights. Do share how do you buy that ticket...
Excellent. Does this couple have kids? If not, can you also please do similar show on couples with kids? Thanks.
Indians earning in inr cannot take their example and benchmark , coz earning in foreign currency and comming back to india and spending in inr .. your sorted. plus a couple without any kids !! that would be even more money in the bank
Very sweet couple..
You can get thounds of people who don't work and are financially independent, but they don't know these fancy terms andveven thiscthatbthey are financially independent like rich farmers of northern india... big real estate owners... etc etc....
