Finally! Great to see you back on UA-cam, you always had the best content for ports. Surprised how little the smaller pot one grew even though it did get a bigger pot.
long time no see lol ... more of these, jades prob the best/easiest material for beginners to make fun trees fast, classic gateway drug to the wider hobby
You’re back! Awesome. If you have more videos in the works, I can’t wait! If you don’t, then no worries! Great video showing the growth over a few months. Hard to see with most channels sometimes
That is an incredible and very unexpected result. i have been potting up slowly as I would with all my cutting related material. I shall have to follow this example now and see if it was just 'slight of hand and mirrors' :)
Welcome back!! I just finished reading Freestyle Bonsai by Jerome Kellerhals & Mariannjely Marval. You are mentioned as thanks and now, as a new viewer I am watching your videos. I just bought my first portulacaria afra and ready to embark on this journey of bonsai😁😁
New subscriber. Here in South Africa we call this a “spekboom” literally bacon tree as the leaves are edible. It’s very prolific and where I live I’ve got so many of them that they’ve formed a hedge. Only recently did I think a small piece of it looked like a bonsai tree, hence finding your channel. Vey informative and helpful. Love your work.
My girlfriend was just make fun of me and said little bonsai so thought I’d check out to see if you posted and was so glad to find you had . Hope all is well
Excellent information...How long after start a cutting(s) do you wait prior to starting your fertilizing...Enjoy your videos and thanks for sharing...Sequim, WA...
Great video, I'm curious about the root development. What exactly is happening that produces more growth? Is it the extra soil that is holding more water?
Glad to see you back on UA-cam. Hope to see more updates this season!!
Wish I'd seen this 2 years ago...
So excited to have you back!! My favorite bonsai content on YT, missed you friend :)

amazing experience 👏👏
Great video. I love comparisons. So are you using just bonsai gravelly soil? I've seen some folks use regular potting soil to grow faster
You absolutly should make a video about how to cut a little jade to make them look good and what to avoid. Love your Videos
Glad to see you back on Gilbert

It's been awhile I haven't seen ya, anyways thanks for the knowledge.
What are the temperatures in your area? Your plants are outdoors. Do you get any frost in winter?
How do you fertilise your trees and when do you need to?
