Here are some sound clips of my car with the Invidia R400. Stock down pipe/front pipe. Only mods are Ktuner stage 1, PRL cobra intake and Mishimoto Intercooler.
I would definitely recommend this! it has a nice deep tone to it, and you can barely hear it when cruising, but if you step on it you'll definitely know it's there! Plus the burnt tips look awesome.
I ordered this from procivic today with hopes I can install myself. Did you install yours, I can't find any vids of one being installed except on type r.
Yeah, it was a pretty straightforward install. The exhaust is one piece. I would recommend going to the 27won website and following their instructions for their front-pipe back exhaust install. It's exactly the same process.
I switched from a muffler delete to this setup and it was WAY better. The sound is deeper but louder as the revs go up without too much drone. I did upgrade the DP/FP at one point but I went back to stock after emission problems. It got a little rowdy with that set up though, I got a lot of unwanted attention. The sound also changed after a couple thousand miles.
Hello again, I’m just wondering what rpm you get the drone? Do you get it between 1700-3000? I’m usually cruising between 1800-2500 and I don’t want a lot of drone. Thank you
@@tomlo1289 I love it. It's not too loud but you can definitely tell it's there when you push the car. Would definitely recommend it for the price, plus i love the huge burnt tips!
@@tomlo1289 There are some faint pops & crackles when shifting early (before 3k rpms) sometimes in 1st and 2nd gear, but you have to be listening up close. A catless DP makes pops and crackles with this exhaust but its LOUD.
Honestly everything has been flawless. The car really came alive after a tune. I did get a custom tune after a couple thousand miles, but i ran the basemaps for around 20k. No issues whatsoever.
@@jeco3401 if you’re talking about base maps, they’re all pretty conservative but make a huge difference. Keep in mind that if you have a stick shift, our clutches are by far the weakest point. Base maps are really reliable though, you can search through forums and get some feedback from others
I think they're pretty close in terms of sound. The Greddy might be a little louder, but it's hardly noticeable. I heard them side by side and could barely tell the difference. The main difference is that this has a resonator and two canister mufflers so it's pretty quiet when cruising, you can barely tell it's there.
Yes, this is a front pipe back exhaust. As long as you don’t take out the catalityc converter, which is on the downpipe coming out of the turbo, you’ll be fine.
I don't think so since this is meant for the Hatchback with the 1.5t engine which has a different layout even though they're both center exit exhausts.
@@DINGMAO I believe it's the same situation. I would think the sport sedan and the Si sedan would have a pretty similar layout but they have a different engine as well as hangers so i doubt it will fit. I'd recommend asking on the forums to be 100% sure. www.civicx.com/forums/general-10th-gen-discussions.2/
Thanks for the sound clip.
Damn, that thing looks and sounds great! Nice tone, trying to stay away from anything loud.

just don't pair it with a catless dp/fp then you are good. I have the PRL dp/fp catless it's LOUD! hahaha
@@SuperButch17 Lol do you have any sound clips? i just ordered my catless DP/FP....
@@fabianlv48 how would I make this exhaust even louder? just modify the R400 with a catless dp/fp?
@@arvinespedido3946 Yeah that should do it. This is technically a front pipe back exhaust, so once you get the dp/fp combo its way louder.
Sick sound clip bro, I just ordered mine. Whats the link you used to help install it?
How does it sound on a downshift? Any pops?
nice brotha! im getting the type r invidia tips real soon after hearing this
Have you heard 27Won in person? Just wondering how the sound compared to this. If anybody knows. Thanks!

Or find a muffler shop and pay them like 50$
Hi, any noticeable drone? I got a muffler delete and it’s kinda annoying so I’m looking for this same setup with stock fp/dp
By any chance did you upgrade your fp/dp?

How is the exhaust fitment? Does it poke out a little more than the stock?
i would say it's about the same. if it does poke out more, it's barely noticeable. it's flush with the lower diffuser.
@@fabianlv48 Thanks for the follow up! How are you enjoying the exhaust so far? I'm thinking about getting one.

@@fabianlv48 so you think if something happens to the clutch does it still be covered by the powertrain warranty?
Does anyone know if this is louder then a resonator and muffler delete?
Did increase hp on this exhaust.?
I haven't put it on a dyno since i got it but i highly doubt it.It's mostly for sound. If you want to increase hp go for a different downpipe.
Hahaha I knew it.. thank you for the reply.
Where should did you find a legit invidia exhaust I wanted for mine

Looks great sounds great but a little too quiet for me
Agreed. It's a bit quiet but perfect for daily driving imo. If you want more sound, a catless dp will definitely help.
Luke Gilson i guess when you pay nearly 1 grand for an exhaust youd want to know its there
