আমাদের দেশে লকডাউন এই ক’মাসেই স্মৃতির কোঠায় বাসা বাঁধতে শুরু করেছে যদিও পশ্চিম এখনো আংশিক লকডাউনে আক্রান্ত। সময়ের ধর্মই তাই। যত পেছনকে ফেলে এগিয়ে যায় ততই তাতে সুখের প্রলেপ লাগতে শুরু করে। কষ্ট, দুঃখ, হতাশা সব কেমন যেন স্মৃতির মাধুরীতে কোমল হতে শুরু করে।
কাহন তার ধর্ম অনুসরণ করে লকডাউনের দিনগুলিকেও ডকুমেন্ট করার চেষ্টা করেছে। তৈরি করেছে একটি স্বল্পদৈর্ঘের সিনেমা 'ধূমপানের অপকারিতা' (Smoking blocks…).
এই ভিডিওটি সেই সিনেমার ছোট্ট ভূমিকা।
In our country lockdown has already begun to take root in memory though the western countries are still in partial lockdown. That is the way Time behaves in progression. The more it leaves behind, the more it begins to feel happy. Suffering, sorrow, despair, frustration all seem to soften in the sweetness of memory.
Kaahon tried to document the days of the lockdown by following its main focus. Made a short film 'ধূমপানের অপকারিতা' (Smoking blocks…).

অশোক মজুমদারের সাথে আমার দেখা হয়েছিলো একটা থিয়েটারের ক্লাসে সময় ছিলো ঘন্টা তিনেক । ভদ্রলোকের ব্যবহার এত ভালো, আজও তার কথা গুলো মনে করলে বলা যায়, সবশেষে বাইরে এসে তিনি যখন সিগারেট খাচ্ছিলেন পাশে যেতেই একটা সিগারেট দিয়েছিলেন , আমি ধূমপান করিনা, কিন্তু সেটা এখনো রাখা আছে আমার কাছে, তাকে সযত্নে রেখেছি সেই সাক্ষাত মনে রাখার জন্যে ।
