    I'm yet to explore Craig's Hut in a couple of weeks. I may only trek by foot to there from that road junction where the track starts. I only have a 2-wheel drive vehicle. This time of the season should be ok but I need to vigilante of wet weather. Nice scenery there.

    Nice video. Got myself a Jeep Trailhawk so am contemplating Craig’s Hut as first outing. I would say I have the ground clearance no problem but that last bit of track has me worried on width . Don’t really want to scrape the panels on the way through any overhanging scrub.

    • @OffTheBeatenPathAus
      @OffTheBeatenPathAus  3 місяці тому +1

      You'll be fine, it's wider than it looks. When you say Trailhawk, that's the off-road version of the Cherokee right? Reasonably capable for what they are, don't think you'll have any issues on this track.

    • @OffTheBeatenPathAus
      @OffTheBeatenPathAus  Рік тому

      Two problems. The track is seasonally closed after the June long weekend, so won't be open to anyone at that time.
      Second problem, I don't think an XV on stock size tyres has enough rampover for some of the humps on this track.
