thank you for this great tutorial! I tried to color match my sony FX6 and my sony Z280 but when changing the color phase it infected my whole image. With these HSL curves it didn't and you explained it well. Your english is very good for a german 😉
Do you need to set 32 bit floating point when you are editing log? How about when editing 8 bit log vs 10 bit log? Should I always set 32bit or only when I editit something above 8 bit? I'm asking because my computer seems to struggle more with 32 bit float point as opposed to 8 bit. How about using 32 bit float full range vs 32 bit video levels? When should I use one vs the other?
This is correct, but I hope for showing some interesting technices to some may be helpful :) I have actually way better looking footage. From Iceland crazy Videos and stuff ^^ but sometimes the most beautiful looking footage doesnt need any color grading
Thank you! There is a lack of Vegas tutorials compared to Da Vinci or even Premiere.

Use 32 bit Video Level if you want to color grade correct in 10 Bit on a 10 bit Monitor. Anything else use 8 Bit.
Not the best looking footage or grading I've seen, but interesting nonetheless.
