Sorry ... ein "Profi" stellt ein von Beginn an unscharfes 10 min Video ins Netz, sich ständig selbst filmend mit coolen Kopfhörern und läuft dauernd über die Straße, nur um in schlechtem Englisch irgendwann zum Punkt zu kommen dass S5D und das 18-40mm Kitobjektiv Kacke sind ... welch eine Zeitverschwendung .... Es muss nicht immer jeder zu jedem Thema irgendwas zwingend sagen .... Hätte man auch Roman schreiben können *gähn*

Du bringst hier übelst viele Sachen komplett durcheinander. Fängt beim Titel an. ProRes HQ vs. All Intra -> ProRes IST All Intra. Dann guckst du Ewigkeiten nach Bending. Dafür ist aber die Bit-Tiefe und die Farbunterabtastung entscheidend, nicht ob man Inter oder Intra kodiert. Ich vermute mal, dass der Sinn des Videos war zu gucken, ob man einen sichtbaren Unterschied zwischen Inter und Intra Kodierung sieht. Hab leider überhaupt nicht durchgesehen was was ist in deinem Beispiel.

Wie kann es bitte sein, das die s5d schon solange auf dem Markt ist und ich bis heut kein einziges Video (also was mit der S5D gedreht wurde) finde? Bin ich den der einzige der mit Kameras dreht? ich finde ja immer nur Test Videos von Kameras zB ähnlich auch bei der G9 II - da ist es auch schwer Filmmaterial zu finden

I had the privilege of using one for about a week plus while I was doing the test and review of the S5 II and I still miss it now, I have a strange feeling that it is the best 50mm I have ever used. Also feels like it is just a tad worse than my RF 85mm 1.2 which the 2nd best prime (behind the EF 200 f2 IS) I have ever used. It is so good that I am thinking about buying a S5 II and selling some of my Sony gear. Still dreaming... Lol

What kit is best for vlog style with this camera? Like poles and handles?

I got 24-105mm f/4 and S50mm f/1.8. But Sigma 20mm or 24mm f/1.4 DG DN Art is better for wide shots, astro, and collect more light, but much more expensive, unfortunately.

I guess my next camera will have to be the S5IIx

Hi.😊 I am looking for a cheaper full frame camera for my wife as a gift. And seen this "DC-S5DNE-K Lumix S5D" camera on Amazon for 999€ with kit lens. Still not a cheap camera for a beginner hobby photographer, but compared to other aps-c sensor cameras sounds very good. What would you say?-Or reccomend? It's been just released and should hold it's value longer than a sony a6400? Thank you very much 😊

Aperture priority because I let the brain of the camera do most of the work for me sure different f/ stops with different glass obviously with more or less bokeh depending if it's a portrait or architecture or street photography and I totally agree with you I don't want to fuck around in manual mode because it makes no sense the same with ISO it's always on auto for me, years ago when I was using 35mm film you chose the ISO you wanted and that was that there was of course no way to change it without choosing anther film roll, but there are lots of idiots on youtube pretending to be professionals telling people to only use M mode, I think you're only a pro when you can sell your work, cheers Jim PS: M mode if using strobes in a studio setting

I would like this lens for my S1R but instead I got the sigma 40mm 1.4 HSM. Older lens but also quite amazing. It’s L mount no adapter, and doesn’t focus as well as the lumix lenses obviously, but I do still photography no video and it cost £550 new. For another £500 I got a like new Voigtlander Apo Lanthar VM M Mount. Manual focus for me is fine. It is incredible, beautiful roll-off into oof, stunning colour and microcontrast and sharp sharp but also organic looking, smooth, and it’s tiny. Try also the 28mm Sigma 1.4 HSM, it’s very good too. But nothing beats my Otus 85. Still the best quality lens I own.

It's annoying to see this wobble even when all stablization is off. Had this known to me earlier would not have invested into this.

I can see there is different in color rendition as well, the 24-70 has more depth and color vibrancy
