I think I have to agree. She does the shred thing with flawless technique and then can play the blues with the best of them too. Did you see her playing Brush with the Blues with Nili Brosh and Gretchen Menn, neither or are too shabby but she clearly took the cake
Jennifer was really ahead of her time with the two hand tapping, especially the string skipping extended arpeggios. Amazing talent to this day. This video is absolutely a gem to see and hear.

Yup. I had heard a rumor somewhere that back in the day Van Halen was approached at some point to see if she could open for them and after Eddie heard her play he was like " Oh hell no, she's not going on before me "

If this is the Jam session from 89 or 90 I was there in the audience..It was killer..She talked back then about how she was in love with Jeff Beck. .She was great I should have taken lessons from her life like I did from Jeff Young (ex-guitarist) MEGADETH

Please boys, quit living in the past when it was supposed to be only guys playing flashy rock guitar; that's long over. Stop referencing her gender in relation to her playing; you can't hear gender, and she is simply one of the greatest guitar players on the planet. You don't need to qualify that; it's just factual, taking all players into account, not just other females.
