What a beautiful area. That's the "problem" with China. Too many places to see and go! It's difficult to see it all on a limited time frame of vacation.
Incredibly. An incredible story... I knew that China had a lot to offer even before people started recounting their experiences, but I am even more glad that my country Serbia has very good relations with the Chinese and together we can re-develop and exchange its rich cultural heritage.
Maoming is the most economically backward place in Guangdong. It is not an exaggeration to say that it is a small county town. Those who want to see China's less developed economy can take a good look at this video. This is the life of countless small counties/prefecture-level cities in China, peaceful and calm, full of beauty.

In fact there are many other good things that the west will ignore about China. Fortunately we somehow get to see these on Jason’s own channel.

China protects centuries-old lychee trees. Meanwhile, in Texas, my friends complain about vultures taking up residence in their area because the birds' habitats were cut down to make way for more gated communities.
Pity they don't protect their beaches like that. I've been to a whole bunch of places along that coastline. There are so often plastic bottles floating in the water, and there is always rubbish washed up to the high tide line. Even Sanya is like that - go to the beach in the early evening and there is rubbish everywhere. Some of it gets cleaned up over night, but then the dumping continues the next day. Of course the rivers are even worse. That's the side of China that guys like this will never show you.
