My family had visited HuangLing several years ago, however, the vilage was getting more and more crowded ever since, perhaps its better for foreign tourists to drop by avoiding the China's long vacations. yet it is still a great place to explore, the village is also famous for its Autumn sceneries to many traditional Chinese painters and photographers. btw, there's a little valley called "ShiMengXia"(石门峡) near the HuangLing resort, which has breath taking beautiful scenery for its crystal clear creeks and blossom canyon. -A tip for the local food: the local food in JiangXi province is very spicy and Hot for many western foreigners, if you are exploring the local restaurants, you may ask the chef to make the dishes "wei la"(mildly spicy,微辣),which may possibly help you out😅
I believe the rural China is not as some media describe but this place is more like an attraction refurbished for tourism so not exactly the raw rural area. More safe and clean. But the old house rebuilt as hotel is good, stunning views I’d love to live in, same idea as you live in those refurbished huts in Chiangmai.

Appreciate much for this sharing. This can help people, who misheard and misunderstood about China, to discover the truth side of China. Discovering not only about the food in China, but also about the improvements in living and in buildings.
You mean the CCP wants you to let us see while also deceive the rest of the world. Just to save its own ass. Why else are businesses leaving that place and moving to countries like India or Mexico? CCP bot
it is a good thing that China preserved these cultural heritage places so well. It is good for tourism too. More choices for tourist to travel - Modernized mega cities and these countryside towns.
Jason's video here still has blue sky, phew ! That is a relief he was not bought over by BBC 😁
Because BBC need to use the dirty depressing color filter when reporting anything on China
I think the Chinese gov start preserving historic places after 80’s, developing tourism areas like other countries do.
@@chocoluvluv CAN SOMEONE PLEASE TELL ME WHY THE NEWER VIDEO FROM CGTN HAVE THEIR COMMENT SETTING TURNED OFF ???
How to turn the comment setting to ON ?
I don't know if my pc is being hacked and made the setting turned off OR was it CGTN themselves turned comment setting to OFF ?
@@albertcadgame8314 maybe cgtn turned it off as alot of anti China folks like writing nasty racist anti China comments. All very negative verbal attacks. It doesn't serve the purpose of its objectives of telling China news views stories & opinions as it is.
Have you heard of the cultural revolution?
This is not rural China........ This is a tourist attraction, manicured and curated for tourists. Rural China is very different to this.
what, you mean rural China doesn't have old dynasty architecture, people in hanfu clothing dancing in the streets, and heated infinity pools everywhere? :P
@@Amphitera He means this is like showing everyone Disneyland and saying "this is what the U.S. is like"
Jason~ you are the best, thanks for your sharing ❤ I love China 🇨🇳
Thank you for this magnificent online tour. Wish i was there to enjoy the view!

Jason, you turned into a real professional tour guide, love your style, can’t get enough of it!
"tour guide" is accurate, since he is only showing you tourist attractions.
Amazing scenic view with ancient character, my next holiday
How do you get to know about these cultural heritage trips? Amazing. Also, we are constantly reminded that vpn is not allowed and yet vloggers are invited to these events.
It looks like a fantastic place. 🤩
no, no one bothers in china if u use VPN
@@xinyiquan666 - tell that to the people arrested to make an example of. Just random ones. It is strange as CGTN even tell you to follow them on Facebook and Twitter.
@@andrewflashchannelgibbs5384 Nobody gets arrested for using a VPN. If you make a VPN and start selling it to multiple people, then you will get arrested. Can you point to anyone arrested for simply using one?

A friend backpacked throughout the interior of rural china, met wondeful people and had a great experience.
Good video, thank you for sharing your insight. I am also in China and loving my life experience. My wife family is from a rural area. Great people.

I’ve been exhausted from my final semester exam. I watch your video to relax and laugh. Thank you for showing this beautiful side of China to the world. ❤
Your video is so professional and touching. I like it very much.
I like the CANDY!!! Sooooooooo goooooood. It’s also called "DingDing" Candy, because the tool that use to breakdown the candy makes the "dingding" sound.
I doubt that this is the reason why it's named this way.

Thanks for your video. I have lived in the city for too long and miss the countryside.
Amazing!
bravo
I have been following your UA-cam channel for some times now. A lot of great videos.
I am planning a trip to China in the next few months. Some of your videos, such as this one, will be great to use as a tour guide when I am doing 自由行 sightseeing in China. Do you also have them on other platforms which are accessible in China without a VPN?
