- We Finally Have ACCESS To Our Missile Silo CRIB. As work continues at the TITAN 1 Missile Silo, we unveil in-house produced content for the community. We appreciate all support as this journey will culminate in the rehab of several bunker complexes across the Southwest.
The Titan 1 underground Nuclear Bunker was developed during the Cold War as a deterrent against a Soviet nuclear strike against the United States. The Titan 1 Missile Silo complex was armed with 3 Nuclear Missiles, each 98 ft missile was armed with a destructive 4.5 megaton warhead and payload [the equivalent of 4.5 Million Tons of TNT per missile].
The 'Nuclear Bunker Living' You Tube series documents Nik's exploration and renovation of America's largest and most hardened underground Nuclear Military Bunkers.

Thanks for sharing ur videos dude, please we just need translate for pt-Br
I kind of wondered what was down the blocked off tunnel when I was there last time... now that I see how treacherous things are in there, it's probably a good idea to keep most people out of that until that tunnel can get cleared out. It's pretty wild seeing just how much stuff is in there.
Heaps of equipment in that zone. All will be restored.
My knees and hips could not take climbing all those steps! With over 20 years in the Army, I’m done! LOL
Keep up the great work! Lots of progress in building the ultimate secret lair! Batman would be jealous!! 😂
Thanks Batman. A real good cardiovascular 🫀 workout each day. Appreciated my friend. Thank you for your service too
Just saw an Instagram reel moved over to ur channel too watch sum and now Premier ist starting in 2 mins perfect timing I'd say
Your timing is impeccable
the amount of exercise yall get from this is crazy lol, I'm looking forward to the day you get your own show on netflix or something, the level of effort in the editing and cinematography is deserving of massive recognition.
Best cardio for sure. We just love to add value to the ever growing community.
Saw a clip
on Instagram, knew I had to check it out. Great video!
We appreciate your support.
Well here I am now. I cheated I'm still back on like episode 40 but I just had to pop in and see what you were up to. Ok now back to the earlier episodes for me. I'm stoked to see your progress.
That’s awesome. You cheated your homework lol.
Another great episode! The retro back to the drums with the drone was the perfect touch. Exit, your edits keep getting better each week. Are you going to drain more out of the silo or will you be able to explore the level it is at? Keep it up!
Cheers Thomas. We plan to empty out the silo and explore the bottom. Appreciate the support.
Agreed mate, it keeps getting better.
Keep up the good work guys. I hope you get the pump free'd soon.
Cheers Erik. Yep it was freed
Such an underrated channel. So happy I stumbled across you on Instagram! Keep up the good work fellas
We appreciate your support. Thank you.
Love the drone shots. 👌 new subscriber here . Great work fellas
Appreciate the follow. Welcome to the community
Yessir, always entertaining. Cool to see
We appreciate it.
I dropped a few flashlights in silo one of this site. First one we dropped the bulb imploded with a flash after descending for some time. It was awesome.
Notorious flash flight thief this silo is.
😮 after u went throug upper and middle levels u had a lot experience what the area looks like , i think the underwater level isn't a lot difference , maybe if its the end and the bottom where the rockets lift of it wont be equiped much because the fire of the rockets, and the more i surmise way out pipes to lead out smoke and pressure from rocketstarts , so surmised way out pipes do estimated lead to the surface !? Beautyfull had been the buildings pencildrawing , nice ! Thanks for the video , a nice adventure , but one thing makes me wonder ,i've seen no shields signed with "restrickted area" and also no nuclear sign . 👍👷 The alive goats ON the surface , do they be used to Check theirs health for radiation ?
Looks super creepy
You guys are living my dream 😁 keep going ✨️
Yeah. We are blessed with multiple complexes we are rehabbing and exploring. Have you seen episode 38 (drone movie) ?
@@NuclearBunkerLiving I haven't I've only just come across your channel but I will be watching the whole series (eventually). I've got pretty good at spotting silos from Google maps and know generally which area's to look but there's not a lot of information on the interior of the sites so your vids are really quite interesting we don't have anything like this in England our military sites are either very small or impossible to gain access to
Very interesting episode. It's awesome to see that you all have some electric run to certain areas. Any plans to run some more permanent power and conduit in the near future? I remember Erin Hotchkiss talking about when her Dad ran power through site 568-A in Odessa, WA and how much of a challenge it was because of the shear scale of these sites. Can't wait to see the underwater drone footage. Keep it up guys and stay safe! Cheers 🍻
The space is immense. We are at full capacity. It’s an episode of McGyver here each day.
@@NuclearBunkerLiving I can imagine. Being resourceful helps to be sure!
There will be a permanent power plant at a later date. For now it whatever we can marinate.
Time to get some cordless tools and stop fighting cords. More progress is sure nice to see.
Batteries 🪫 the saga continues
Very interesting great content keep it up look forward to seeing it drained
Thank you Phil.
I have a question about how the ventilation works in this silo. From outside you see not much. And do you have any ventilation running during the work you do?
Has this silo flood pumps installed when it was in use?
It is incredible that All this building had once to be done without anyboding knowing.
Great to see your work. Flying with a drone through the tunnels, amazing footage!
Hey Henk. We pump air into places we’re working in unless there is an adequate supply already. Sump pumps were all removed during the salvage years. Appreciate the support.
Well, I don’t know the exact location but this particular squadron in Colorado was built out on the Lowry bombing range (more or less) ….. The library of congress has tons of photos of its construction, you couldn’t miss it, except that it was out on a closed Air Force reserve what was once 40 miles from town. Towns eventually grow and one of these complexes was a little more than a mile from my house :).
All of these facilities had sumps…. Most of the tunnels were designed to slope back towards the power dome And it’s very powerful Sumps as a backup…. But like they said, most of the sumps were salvaged during the decommissioning. The launcher itself would have had a sump in the bottom that discharged at the surface. Good or bad, the decommissioning pretty much left the well heads in the power dome open, and that’s where most of the water that got in to the tunnels over the years ended up
@@Matt-yg8ub love the context. Very interesting 🙌
@@NuclearBunkerLiving Okay, Take care of yourself and your team. I really enjoy the content.
Dope video
Cheers Gary.
You should really look into one of the tool batty based power stations. i'd rather carry 4 tool batteries and a box down a hole than mess with the generator like you did
I'm a welder by trade, but my home setup is currently only a 110 welder. to get range, i have a 100' 12 gauge extension cord. that's what you need for long runs like that trying to use a grinder at the end. your current setup has too much resistance over the distance for the demand of the tool. it's trying to drink though 100' of paper straw
Exploring a multiple array of battery providers. About to make a decision shortly. Welcome to the community. Appreciate the support.
Every week, another adventure...
Welcome back my friend.
@@NuclearBunkerLiving yeah I've been busy with a new work schedule etc
Stay safe
Come on! Not much new content in this episode, I feel like we seen everything here before. Been with you guys since episode 1. Please add some new discoveries! Great job 👏
PC. Welcome back. Lots of work conducted that has yet to be documented. We also like to split our time between rehab, exploration and new acquisitions.
Aiiiigh! You are killing me, Nik! Is it the crib? What is down there?!?
Half a crib correct.
@@NuclearBunkerLiving Half?!? So Silo 3 was already filling with water when it was later scrapped? Can’t wait til next episode!!!
We are thinking some crib elements for sure.
Maybe get a pan shot from the platform to the top silo doors and down. Be nice to put the high in perspective.
Yes for sure. Such a fabulous Space.
Gotta get you a battery pack inverter combo down there
We need help. Know anyone who can assist ?
I'm in Florida so I can't help set anything up.
But if you setup 2 or 3 kw of solar and a 15kwh battery pack and 6kw inverter( eg4) from signature solar you will have plenty of power for tools.
If your running the well pumps 24/7
Go to 30kwh and 8kw of solar
The solar would be high voltage 300-500v so it can run 300' on 10ga wire
Much further on 8ga
@@SolarTechFL Hi!! It’s a Great idea!!
Hey Nick is there a link to the footage you have of this silo when it was in operation ?
Yes. There are many clips we have used in previous episodes. You may want to watch every episode
I'm getting there fella .. I'm getting there !
Cheers Stevo
Please relay this to Pat: you have my dream job. Also, have you guys done a makeup of what that sludge was in the tunnel leading to the crib? Oh, and as long as I have your attention, is that a Geiger counter that I hear sometimes in the audio? Love the channel and the content. Keep it coming y’all and STAY SAFE 🤘
Grease residue predominately. We have Geiger counters present as well as oxygen meters. @Casey we thank you for being part of the NuclearBunkerLiving journey. Yeah PAT loves what he does.
Great work, Have you thought of running a fire pump and washing the tunnel mud into the silo would save work latter on.
Yeah. We will be power washing that room soon enough.
Power washing is one thing, but the tunnels aren’t sloped to drain into the silo.
We move water to stations that we have built within the complex. Then they are filtered out to the surface level and repurposed.
I just turned on the notification to switch to your channel when it's time
Cheers Dar
@@NuclearBunkerLiving I did send a reply a couple days ago to one of your questions and I told you my father's real name and my real name in it so if you go through my replies to you you'll find it I just use this name to keep trolls at Bay
When will you guys drain the hallways that connect each silo and make them a bit easier to traverse?
Using hallways as water stations. Everything has a purpose.
Cool!
I've missed u guys
We missed you too. Where did you go?
@@NuclearBunkerLiving nowhere darling
@@NuclearBunkerLiving Happy Thanksgiving Guys
The unemployed friend at 2am 😂
Unemployed and having fun. Never be employable. Keep shining.
@@NuclearBunkerLiving wish I could do something like you do seems so fun
Do you ever feel like your in a fallout game or something cause this would be awesome to daily
Yes everyday. It’s a video game
Have you seen our drone movie ?
ua-cam.com/video/O0-B96lmxhQ/v-deo.html
Which site is this?
Colorado
@@NuclearBunkerLiving is that the state or the name of the silo? lowry range?
are you the fpv pilot that made the fpv fly through?
All production is in-house, including FPV. We have assembled a great close knit of content providers who love their craft.
@@NuclearBunkerLiving thats amazing, I fly fpv too, I think i recognize your name from jb ive streams
Wondering if you guys are looking for any volunteers? Would love to come up for a couple weeks and lend a hand!
Always. Email me: NuclearBunkerLiving@gmail.com
So much metal scrap to sell, just need a better way to get the metal out of the silo?
@Clifford Dodson, if you know of a way to get those silo doors open, I’m sure they would be thankful
Been on the plans for some time.
We have so much steel
@@NuclearBunkerLiving Oh I can only imagine :-) Best of luck getting those silo doors open…. Did you guys ever determine why the access portal doors wouldn’t budge? I have a sneaky suspicion that the hinges are fused… But no way to confirm that
Why don't you pump the water out?
We have been draining and filtering
please use fall protection!
Such as?
Business must be good…..using $400 work lights to do the job of $20 Harbor Freight specials :). Ok I joke….. Those lights look fantastic and if I had the money I’m sure they’d be worth it working underground like that
Matt. They are great lights. More then $400. Lol. Appreciate the support.
@@NuclearBunkerLiving Yeah, I think the smallest one I could find on the website was $385, but the nice ones are more :)
Cannot wait to be one of the first people to watch this episode
Cheers Luci. Welcome to the community

@@NuclearBunkerLiving much welcome!
Their is another youtuber who has bought a titian silo his channel is flair
Incorrect. He has an Atlas F. 15 times smaller then a Titan 1.
A titan 1 has 9 silos. Flair has 1 silo

So you make click bait shorts, that cocktease us to UA-cam, and then post 14 mins of garbage to end with “poor water Clarity” ? God forbid you drop a flash light into the water on this episode, no please, repeat the entire process next week.
Love your work. Lol. Appreciate your community feedback.
We don’t play the games of clickbait. We report in real time regarding circumstances. Nothing doctored or cooked.
@@NuclearBunkerLiving I’m not mad at you, just disappointed.
Dude…..You have no idea how much effort goes into even baby steps like cutting ductwork out of the way in a situation like this.
@@Matt-yg8ub I’m talking about making a instagram reel, that tries to lead us here to see what’s in the water. Only to have them show the exact same video after 15 mins of bs, and then not toss a flash light underwater to reveal what is there. That’s called click bait.
Eu não faço a mínima ideia de nada mas vi um vídeo no Instagram e traduzi no Google e vem aqui vê
