Great tips, Bethany! I find that a pointed toe heel often elongates nicely. I am on the verge of average and petite at 5 foot 4 but otherwise have the same measurements/body shape as you. I agree that knee length or just under the knee for me really cuts me off and makes me look shorter but I don't feel comfortable not do I find a mid thigh length dress or skirt flattering. I have found that about an inch or two above the knee balances out my hips and thighs and makes them look slimmer and also elongates my legs. I also love a high waist and wear it often but if I wear a piece over that (usually a blazer- my favorite!) that if it hits me mid hip that is the most slimming. I don't love a boxy cut but something fitted in my waist that shows off my curves while slimming my hips really makes my legs look longer and leaner and makes my body look slim yet gives a more hourglass vs pear shape effect. That formula plus A line dresses are my most flattering looks.
I really love the explanations. It really helps me understand the reasoning and so I can apply this to other outfits too.
I'm 152 cm and I find it fascinating how you look sooo mcuh taller than me with those tips, I hope I can achieve the same look.

And yes, it can be such a struggle lengthening height when youre naturally short :D. i've been following and watching your vids coz I love monochromatic style too, mostly black if not just solid colors. Although I will have to get used to throwing in accessories, i pretty much just wear 1 necklace and same pair of earrings that i never take off. Keep posting! Learning a lot from you. :*

I wish I had found this chanel a long time ago. I am 5ft 2 and pear shaped. Finding clothes that fit is difficult... that’s why I started tailoring and sewing my own clothes
