How to Look Taller - Petite Tips & Styling
Episode 2 of how to look taller, where I transform 3 outfits with just a few tweaks. It’s crazy to see the before and afters side-by-side! I spent years of people thinking I was 12-14 when I was in my early twenties, and part of it was that I didn’t know how to flatter my figure as a petite / small woman. So check out my petite tips and the things I’ve learned about looking taller and more age-appropriate!

The first versions of the outfits are similar to how I would wear them, but the final versions are strikingly better! You make me want to pay far more attention to tweaking my outfits to figure out what will truly look best on my figure. 😁

One more tip: if you have a shoe, like the one from the last look, you can always change the straps from black to nude so it woudn't cut your legs of visually at the ankle.

I used to get the same response about looking about 12 yrs old. I thought it was awful because I'm in my late 20s and have 3 kids haha! Definitely can relate to wanting to dress more age appropriate 😂

I get mistaken for being 12-18 years old ALL THE TIME. I'm 30! I feel like I have to go to so much effort to try to look like an adult. It's been a long process of trial and error, so these tips will help a lot.

I’m almost 5’11’ and I wear all of the techniques for petite women. It’s also especially helpful since I have a shorter torso and I’m also “hippy” pear shaped/athletic build so proportions get tricky to accommodate my curvy tall figure. Funny I went to the doctor and he told me I was 5’8”! I replied, “Good! I can wear my highest heels.” LOVE THESE VIDEOS AND YOUR VOICE IS CALMING AND WELCOMING!
I’m tall but I’ve found your tips really useful for making my slightly pear shape look slim and put together. The high rise bottoms and tucked in tops accentuate the waist and I no longer shy away from monochrome.

A great look! I love a bright tote to add a pop of color. My sister recently exclaimed, while we were shopping in a second hand shop in Italy, “how many more red handbags do you need?” I responded, “this is the one!’. I think I also said, shut up, but,… if you can get a great leather bag for 4€, go for it! It’s a no brainer!
