On the Goldrush topic, it seems they lost the discovery Chanel license and continue as Gold mining simulator now. They are even bringing out Goldmining simulator 2 and some nice dlc's since the new Publisher took over.
Third new person to take over the game. With them saying they couldn't do anything to really fix the first game without recoding half they game doesn't give me any optimism that the second will be any better.
I just discovered this game... this is essentially my first look at the gameplay. As someone who works in mining I find it simultaneously incredibly cool and infuriating haha. Slapping explosives on a face (underground wall in the direction you're headed) will just make a lot of very expensive noise. you need to drill and plant explosives in the holes. typically you'd drill 4m or so, load it with explosives and blast the "round." Some very cool development opportunities to implement that correctly. The "digging too deep" should never happen because you'd be digging "mucking" against a solid floor - not sure if that's just because you're still only a few metres into your underground development. I tried the game for about 15 minutes - flipped my loader on it's side and couldn't find a reset button, so I rage quit and requested a refund before it was too late. Now I'm still wanting to love it so I'm back to watch some videos and see the collective experience.
There are definitely aspects that don't represent real life mining. That may be due to game restrictions or the devs having not implemented it yet. You don't need to shore for example. These are things (shoring) that I know are on the list as they further develop the game. For your vehicles you just need to go into your map, select the vehicles tab in the top right and return the vehicle to your inventory where you can re-deploy it. I have strong hopes for this one and the devs are truly compassionate about the development. They listen to their community and tend to implement a lot of the suggestions made so definitely keep your eye on it.
Id like to see more automation instead of dragging and dropping ores into smelters or wash tables. Have options like bulk dirt in the wheel loader so you can say *this ore* out this hole all other ores out of the other hole and send them on their own lines but selling would still be a manual labor and also an auto drive or "worker" function for dump trucks so you set up a path and set the rally point where it stops to wait for loading and where to reverse and dump or very basic tasks like that i think would bring the game to the next level
Excellent video. I hope 20k people watch it and like it so you make a series !!! Setting your excavator to handle dirt better was brilliant ! Boom. Life changed!
Just recently purchased this game and I’m also having a blast! I’m still tossing up between an open mine or a tunnel system but I’m still having more fun than I though I would 😅
It's hard to decide which you'll see if you continue to watch my series. I'm dabbling in all aspects at the moment. There's plenty to keep you going and they are working hard on the game. Have fun and thanks for watching and commenting!
What key are you hitting to buy/sell at 6:45? When I hit P and bring up the store my window doesn't look like that. Thanks. Ok this is odd...my game is different than yours. I tried to do the 'bulk dirt' thing you mentioned. My vehicle doesn't have that option and when I go to equipment it shows all the parts that can wear out. I assume they've changed it?
In my first ferw episodes I was recording on a very old build of the game which may explain the differences. You'll see those changes in later episodes after I opt into the BETA and subsequently the BETA becomes the main branch.
@Simidiom definitely a shut up & take my money type business model they have going. I honestly think they should add trains aswell. Nothing over the top like a 600 car ore train, but just small simple stuff, like a compressed air minecart engine, compressed air mincart loader, minecart, 2ft guage 0-4-0T 'Dingy' & side dump cars. Just to name a few things & give some diversity or maybe even a sorta "hardcore" mode. Though some 30 inch, 3ft & standard guage trains would be cool for moving a large amount of bulk to sell or processing.
@@BattleshipOrion It is that kind of game. We just have to remember that it's still in the very early stages of development and they have so many plans. 😁😁
This game scratched an itch. Even my boy is enthralled with it. It’s slow moving, but man, once you get past the intuitive learning curve, man, is this game satisfying. Now, where it shines? With a solid group of friends. 10/10 recommend Out of Ore.
I was wondering when you were going to cover this game 😉 I really like watching this sort of games but don't have the patience to do it myself. Ideal for a relaxing watch before going to sleep. Hoping to see a series about this.
i do enjoy this game but it needs more QOL and polishing. It's hard to use the menus and the vehicles are finicky but i LOVE the execution of the mining so far.
Been a busy weekend over here, so I finally got a chance to sit back and watch something. This is really interesting. I can see how one might forget to go to work playing this one. 😉 Though I kept wanting you to level out the ground outside your mine entrance so you could set the bucket level as you drive in and it wouldn't bounce...ohhh, I might just have to buy it myself and do it right. LOL First person is difficult on these types of games. I always have to overhead cam in FS to back in trailers. Depth perception is just too vague otherwise. Now, do this in VR...that would be a whole different ballgame. Then we'd need to find a rumble seat for realism. They need to add another zero at the end of their gold prices. 🙃 Series! Series! Series! Good show!

Similar to autodrive in farm sim I guess. That would be great to see.

NMC started as modders for Farming Simulator...look at how they turned out! Miss the Griffin from FS19, but holy lord!
They deserve to have their own stand alone game with all the amazing content they created for FS don't they. A great team.

It's being worked on considerably and will only get better I believe. They've added a lot of QoL changes so far with I'm hoping way more to come.
The newest construction simulator has some great dirt physics

I do on the odd occasion hop out and level the ground. You can't level with the loader as well as you can in Demolish & Build.
The beta has the new equipment models and dirt
Tried it last night. It's great so far!
You should play on the beta branch, Then you get all the cool updates first.

Hi. What Map are u on ?
Hi Jona, I'm playing on quarry hill.
The playlist for this is ordered wrong. It's playing newest to oldest, it should be reversed. Since it plays top to bottom.
Thanks for letting me know. I'll change it around :)
You playing the beta?
Hi Chad, I just installed the beta last night so the next episode will be on that branch. Thanks for watching.
Bought this a little while back i like the game but im terrible at it
Once you start getting used to it it changes. If you haven't played for a while the update that just dropped changes it greatly.
are you aussie?
I am indeed.
