Sowing our Backyard Putting Green and Bunker

This week we are sowing our backyard putting green and bunker as we have rain moving in. We are using a contractors mix which is 80% fescue and 20% rye to get seed all around our DIY putting green and golf bunker. We use a Scott’s drop seeder and Scott’s broadcast spreader to do the work. The landscape around the putting green should start looking great soon and our backyard golf hole should start coming to life as we continue building out our dream golf homestead.
