2016 Grand Moot

The 2016 Grand Moot on was a special occasion, opening the new Rosalie Silberman Abella Moot Court in the Jackman Law Building with a panel consisting of three Supreme Court of Canada justices, all alumni of the University of Toronto Faculty of Law: Justice Rosalie Abella presiding, along with Justices Michael Moldaver and Russell Brown. The case, dealing with issues of access to justice, was argued by mooters Victoria Hale and Zacharia Al-Khatib for the Appellant, and Giorgio Traini and Sarah Bittman for the Respondent.
