I'm an LLB student as well and I must say that moot competion such as this can be really petrifying and breathtaking at the same time but it allows students to be more practical and develop this life long skill. This snippet really is motivating and a big congrats for a job well done. Strong points of argument indeed :)
Im studying to become admitted to the bar, this young man has done exceptionally well responding to their questions. That is a skill in which all law students, let alone lawyers would only wish to have
That is exactly what we go through in appeal matters with a full bench of judges. This is just a moot court scenario but kudos to the young man. Got some journey ahead of him.
+Andrew Becker Never say "no your honor." The young man forgets his T-14 proper court etiquette when addressing the court. It's "I beg to differ" or "Please allow me to clarify." Who teaches these young counselors? I shall have a word with them at once!
Enrique was too good. He was calm by way of presenting with reference backing well the facts and issue with reliance to ICJ rules, rules, procedures and UN laws. The judges came down strong and I should say brutal. Well to do lawyer in the making. Enrique is assisting the court well and these judges are not giving him the chance finish his line.
I'm very surprised at you both! Neither of you brought up *14th Amendment, Exec.' Order 9066, Hirabayashi-vs-U.S., Korematsu-vs-U.S.(even thought the U.S. lost, it still merit's mention), ex-parte Endo, Haig-vs-Agee, Passport Act of 1926, nor the Immigration, and Nationality Act of 1952!* Appeal is denied!
I’d step up to the bench and whisper, the next one of yous sonsabitches cuts me off Your gonna need a ride to the dentist to get false teeth! Comprende?
WOW, its a bummer that you spent all that money on schooling to learn how to deceive a fellow Man. I pray that you learned the difference between Man and Citizen because all that long winded fast talk is just a waist of time when you have to go up against a Man in court. You will lose every time.
Man, those judges were brutal. That was incredible.
It’s Yale
@@dragonflarefrog1424 fr the best law school.

This is breath taking, law schools in Uganda appreciate Enrique's efforts.

“And may it please the court...”
Judges: and I took that personally
I've never seen one of these things before, and maybe this is standard - but that was amazing. If I ever get in a bind, I want that kid as my lawyer!
Great job. By the way, this is an appellate court scenario. 7.62-Interrupt is what the judges do in a scenario like this.
Ruthless & revival of real court argumentation practice!
Enrique, that was awesome!
And there’s a reason this guy went to Yale. Top of the top
Much respect.
Man do I love this camera quality

+DullardGuy he won..
+S LSM That does not mean he was perfect and cannot be improved.
Great
@Andrew BeckeR:
Don't forget: _"beg the Court's indulgence'_
I would have total meltdown In front of those judges. Oh my god
Watch "seventh Circuit worst oral argument" 😂 he literally runs away from the podium

The judges are supposed to interrupt
Judges interrupt all the time. As a lawyer you must adapt. He did and that’s why he is good
This is amazing. Congrats!
He knew how to compose himself after being interrupted constantly
this is really great review material!
wow he handled himself well
Good job, Enrique!
Dude.. the judges are scarier than the one they had in international part
This is sooooo good!
I think the student was better prepared than the judges
Dude... Whoa.
So nobody saw it important to make use of that fire extinguisher in the corner?
Wow ! 🤩
judges were in no mood to have mercy on him
Cool. Where do you work? Thanks
When Judge Jerry Smith started to talk, suddenly I get thirsty! He is slow killer. Haha
I’m having a mandatory first round in a week. I was panicking. Now I panic more 🤦🏻♀️
How did you do?
Do you did it good? lol
Answer the question Jessica
Jessica it's 2024. How was it?
good judgment dear well done
Will that one judge just let him talk. I would have literally just stormed off hate when people do that to me.
and that’s why you aren’t at Yale law
@@gonzothompson8118 Exactly

Yale is such a Harvard knock off. Yale vs Harvard moot court is no comparison.
Yale is rated #1 in U.S.
I submit that Harvard has a great moot court though!
