This is literally my number 1 Mexican dish, and I thank God every single day that I married a Mexican man and because of that I know so many Mexican dishes and because of you of course Muchas Gracias mija se te aprecia un montón 😉
Thank u for breaking down the measurements! Sometimes I just want to make a couple for myself lol I’m gonna try this out. I love Chile rellenos!! Thanks mama♥️
Excellent. Single dummy here who never learned from my mom how to make these. Plus the ones on TV are way too slickly edited. But this video is perfect. I prefer the long green chile from my 'hood in southern New Mexico. Thank you for this.
Thanks for this recipe as a single senior it's hard to get used to cooking for one. I like leftovers but only to a point. I've always wanted to try and make it so I think I will give it a go.
That looks delicious, and I love my chile rellenos just crispy, with sides. I think it simply gives you the flavors without fuss, and I love the crispy texture.
I always make them with the brofh, but yours look so delish that I'll try them like that too. I like how you explained so well and well edited. Short n simple video. I hate when people do videos soooooooo long that I lose inerest cuz they talk so much and out of context. Subscribed.
I'm like you, I like mine crispy. Whenever I order chile rellenos at the restaurant, I always ask for the sauce on the side. I've gotten some strange looks, but I like that fluffy crispy texture. For me, that's what makes it so special.
I made the chile rellanos using New Mexico green chile and Oaxaca cheese and I followed your directions - they were delicious!!! They are allot of work to make but well worth the time. Thank you
Looks so absolutely delicious!! I was taught to make them this way by a lovely Korean lady who owned a Mexican restaurant! I used to buy whole green chiles in a can and it was so easy but they are hard to find now. I will follow your recipe using the grilled peppers. Thanks Mama! 😘
One of my all time faves. I’m partial to manchego cheese and a lightly flavored, brothy sauce. I’ll take chile rellenos over pizza every time. Truly a labor of love, but hey, I’m worth it.
This is the best recipe video I've ever seen for chile rellenos! I love to keep it crispy and pair it with scrambled eggs with sautéed onions and serranos!
Was just craving these so I made them using Hatch New Mexico chiles, because that's what I had on hand. Thank you so much for your contribution to our kitchen! Yummy. 👍🏻❤️
It's interesting to see the regional differences of a dish. In Southern New Mexico, we often use Big Jim or Sandia green chiles, stuffed with Colby Longhorn style cheese, eaten with no broth. You did an excellent job with your batter, I so enjoy seeing how you cook!
Hi A.!!! Oh I'm liking this video. Since I'm alone now this would be just great for me. I will be giving this a try for sure. Wonderful recipe. Thanks my friend. Take care!!!
Yummy! Love this simple recipe dear sweet Angelica. I hope you and your family are well and happy. Thank you for sharing your delicious recipes. I'm loving your cook book too 😊💕💜
Thank you for using your hands. It’s a revelation! Lol, mom always used the shell, so much easier using hands. I made this this morning, yummy. After starting to char the peppers on my gas stove, I decided to use my husbands torch… so much easier. Then to remove the char I used a brush and water, also much easier :) Thanks for putting this out as it’s hubbys birthday and he LOVED it.
These look soooo good! Watching your videos has helped me learn about ordering different things I’ve never had such as this recipe. Now I know! I would tell them to bring me the broth just so I can try it but I would also want refried beans and Mexican rice or salad.
I wish I lived next door. You wouldn’t have to be bothered in tasting all your cooking as I would gladly be your helper. Looks wonderful. Chili rellenos are my favorite but I have never tried making them.
Awesome! I'm growing several pablano plants this year...just got 2 sprouted today with several to go...I will definitely be trying this recipe when I get my first peppers...🤟🏿😎👍🏿
The recipe you shared with us. Chli relleno casserole. I really expanded on it. It is wonderful delicious. It's a combination of Chli relleno and Tamales with a creamy Pablano crema poured down over it. A hamburger layer with onions cumin chipotle powder which I make layers of Pablanos a layer of queso fresco Monterey jack pepper jack. Basically the kitchen sink. I had to stop because I was running out of room 🙃. Try it you won't be disappointed. I don't have an exact recipe I'm always cooking outside the box. I took it to work and fed everyone 🥰 I put masa flour lots of eggs. Will definitely make it again.
When I lived in Arizona, my friend Ol made those but I think she baked her's . All I know is that it was absolutely delicious. She also taught me how to make tamales, because I used to buy them from a lady selling near my grocery store. I live in DC now, there are a few good Mexican restaurant. But nothing comes close to her cooking.
In my neck of the woods (AZ) rellenos were made with Hatch and/or Anaheim peppers, stuffed with Longhorn cheese, and usually not served with broth. My very first relleno was eaten at a restaurant in Douglas, Arizona, and their coating was a plain egg. Any way you make it, they are delish!
Any kind of salsa verde for me, thank you -- from basic chip-dipping salsa to green enchilada-style, all the way to thick-and-rich guacamole-chili puree with sour cream.
OMGodess of goodness! First time I ever ate or made CHILE RELLENOS I loved it. A very good recipe, a fluke as I felt it was a lot of work but had forgotten by the time we sat down to dinner and took our first bytes. Years later just ordered some from local restaurant … mostly oil, cheese and maybe that coating was egg. But the Chile flavor was gone … Chile has an ambrosia that your method of cooking brings out.
Oh my mouth is watering .. Those are my favorite .. If a restaurant doesn't have these and GOOD tacos .. I won't go back .. There is a place in Midland Tx called Carambas .. They have the best .. But now I can try making them myself .. Thank you for sharing !
Oh Angelica!!! (Love your name by the way since is also my mother’s ❤️ ) I love the way you cook and make things short, simple, and to the point!! 😋 thank you!!! Will be making me some poblano peppers tomorrow!!! Abrazos!!!
I love this recipe definitely gonna make it and I like the cheese queso sauce over the top instead of the red sauce but also I would eat just as is yummy now I'm hungry...thank you
You're amazing. I live in San Diego and we basically get Tex-Mex here. However, the cuisine of Mexico is regional and I'm learning from you, Pati Jinich and Rick Bayless. Thank you so much for what you teach.
I just loved your recipe, easy and simple. No fuss really. Thank you
We are from AFRICA but mann my children will devour this in just a heart beat! Tfs
Love it!😃🙌 The filling is versatile as well. 😊

Yummy, I’m gonna try this.
I literally took out a frozen pizza from the fridge but remembered I had roasted chili and put the pizza back.😏
Yumm...my favorite, thanks so much for making and sharing this video and recipe..
This is literally my number 1 Mexican dish, and I thank God every single day that I married a Mexican man and because of that I know so many Mexican dishes and because of you of course Muchas Gracias mija se te aprecia un montón 😉
I'm glad you put that labor of love in for yourself! You deserve all the yumminess. I love all your videos. Thanks for sharing!

😃🙌💕
My favorite! In fact these are how I rate a Mexican restaurant! So yum!

I learned to make them from a Japanese lady in a tamale restaurant! :)
My mom would use cheese or ground beef with potatoes.
Korean lady who owns a mexican restaurant. Sounds legit.
I Love them without the broth too! Nice an Crispy
My favorite!!! I looooove Chile rellenos!
Yummy 😋 one of my favorite things to eat
I love peppers and cheese, they go so well together 🥰🥰😋😋
I love your personality. You're so sincere and loveable
Really nice. The crispy outside is my favorite part.
Love me some authentic chilie rellenos. Around here there’s not many that do it like this. It’s a bell pepper with meat and queso.
Not bell peppers! 😂
I know it's disappointing when you ask for something and get something different 😒
That looks so good. I just happen to have two poblano peppers that need to be used up right away. Perfect timing. Thank you.
Same here 😊 it's like this video came on my feed in the right time
Amazing as always. Thanks for sharing. Subscriber from before it was Simply Mama Cooks. Congrats on the growth!!
My FAVORITE!!! I could eat them every day!
Thank you. I always thought it was a complicated process. This seems pretty straightforward. I can do this. Thank you for sharing.
I love Chillies Rellenos!!! Thank you for a basic recipe.
One of my all time faves. I’m partial to manchego cheese and a lightly flavored, brothy sauce. I’ll take chile rellenos over pizza every time. Truly a labor of love, but hey, I’m worth it.
My mom never has made with the sauce. But most restaurants do include and I ask for it on the side, I rather it not drown 💕
Wow those look delicious!! I love crispy crunchy food's too! Enjoyed. Thank you for this recipe.
I love Chile rellenos!! I will have to try your recipe...thank you!!
Chili relleno my favorite love so so much. 😊❤🙏👍
Very interesting looks tasty and crispy thank you for sharing 😋
You make these look easy! I agree that o prefer them without the broth and with a side of rice and refried beans
I made them for my hubby they were yummy. Thanks again for the great videos
This is the way I had these the first time, in Mexico, and the way I love them💕💕💕 Thank you so much!!!

You just brought a bit of joy to my old heart,I really like Chile rellenos, now I think I can make it happen. Thanks
Looks great! Just like mom used to make. So many chile rellenos at restaurants have too thin a coating of egg. Fluffy and crunchy is awesome.
Yours look so much better than the ones I had at a local restaurant on my daughter in law's birthday. Theirs were good but yours look better!
They look amazing. I'm sure it was yummy.
Thank you for making these crispy. I love them like that without tomato sauce or broth. I will definitely make your recipe.
These look soooo good! Watching your videos has helped me learn about ordering different things I’ve never had such as this recipe. Now I know! I would tell them to bring me the broth just so I can try it but I would also want refried beans and Mexican rice or salad.
Easy to follow instructions! Can’t wait to give this a whirl. Thank you

This is EXACTLY how I make chili rellenos! Not bad for an American! I'm not sure who taught me but I love it. Thanks for the video. Hello from Idaho!
I MUST have Hatch chili's for thus ! Been using hatch for 50 yeears!
It’s like every time I crave something the next day you end up making it. I was just telling my mom yesterday I wanted some of these.
I love these with a ranchero sauce! Yum !
Any kind of salsa verde for me, thank you -- from basic chip-dipping salsa to green enchilada-style, all the way to thick-and-rich guacamole-chili puree with sour cream.
