I just searched up a York Uni room tour to start off my research into the university as I am going to the open day in September and hope to study law here. So glad that your video was the first to come up! This is SOOO helpful, thank you. 😊
Omg. I'm so glad I found a UA-camr who goes to York University and is especially doing law. As next year ill becoming to york and ill be studying law as well.
Hi. I don't think I'd be the best person to give advice on personal statements. But what I will say is, write about your experiences and say what skills you have developed from them and then apply that to studying law. Show that you've done research into law and that you're keen. Make sure it's grammatically sound and you should be pretty set. Good luck with your applications!
Hi! I would definitely recommend it as I've had the best year here. I think the main things to consider when choosing a university are: optional modules, assessments (York is very coursework based), contact hours (York has a lot), location, graduate employment opportunities (York has it's own guy Chris who does everything careers, so you'll be stuck for choice) and accommodation. Ultimately, I'd say that if you think group work and the PBL process are for you, then you'll probably be a good match for York. I would also recommend coming to an open day if you haven't already so you can really get a feel for the uni. Best of luck with everything!
I am your fan from India. I watched all of your video it's totally amazing and love to watch your vlogs.. Great sound, music every thing.....please make more videos on singing because you are a amazing singer also
Hi, I’ve just started studying law at York University and I wanted to know did you find it really difficult at the start? I feel like I know nothing and I’m completely lost and second guessing if I should be doing it. Thanks for any help!
Hi Ruby Firstly I just want to say congrats on meeting your offer & welcome to YLS! I remember feeling overwhelmed and lost at times during my first year (still do now in all fairness)! It's completely normal as adapting to the new style of learning, the new environment of university and trying to figure out PBL takes time and everyone will develop at different paces. I'd say just give first term a good go and approach it with a completely open mind, this way you'll find out whether it's for you or not. Plus go to lecturers if you feel like you're still lost in a week or two - its what they're there for! You can email me (chelsieangeles@gmail.com) if you fancy a chat or want any advice + come say hi if you see me in the PBL area (i'm practically always there)! :)
Looking for uni dorm tours for some inspiration for my own and THANK YOU for not waffling and spending ages explaining useless things lmao I was about to pull my hair out listening to people talk in exactly the same tone of voice (THAT ‘female UA-camr’ voice) but this was nice to watch!
Best moving in vlog🎉 concise, informative and no waffle
Got my first offer from York yesterday! Beyond excited
Congratulations! Hope you have a fab time here!
@@ChelsieAngeles Thank you!! I'm sure I will :)

Is this type of rooms available for P.hD students? How much it costs?
it's available for all students in constantine college & prices change every year but they'll be on the college website.
