advice for anyone going to uni... Just buy food, toiletries, decor that you dont already own etc, when you get there. It saves alot of room in the car and its easier to unpack 😅
Why would you want double the toiletries, that is wasteful and expensive. And what, instead of having everything to hand, you'd spend a week walking back and forth to the shops when there was a car to take it?
Hope you have an awesome time at uni. What an unemotional goodbye!!! I hugged my Son for 5 straight minutes and cried all the way home from London to the Isle of Man (FAR!).
Yes it's hard because the top grades are important not the personality or achievement. So you would be see all kind of people there from the worst to the ok one.

I am about to graduate from uni in America and I definitely had a lot of random stuff my freshman year but I actually brought more stuff to move in as I got older because I moved into actual apartments where I needed kitchen stuff. Also I always buy my toiletries and food at school the day I get there because it saves space in the car and it’s nice to have stuff at home if you go home for the weekend.
Your mum crying reminds me that my mum doesn’t want me to go to Uni next year and it’s gunna break her heart me moving out. 😩💔 Shouldn’t be letting that stop me. But still.
Of course, her child going away when she's raised you, looked after you and loved you since the day you were born. Just make sure you stay safe and stay in contact with your momma bear and hope you enjoy uni! 😊
