HOW TO GET THE GOOD ENDING (Best Ending for Alexios & Kassandra) - Assassin's Creed Odyssey
To get the “happy” ending with the full family reunited - the Hero, Myrrine,
Deimos, Nikolaos and Stentor - you should have:
- Spared Nikolaos in Episode 2,
- Promised Myrrine to try to save Deimos from the Cult in Episode 6,
- Convinced Nikolaos to intervene with Stentor when you meet them again in Episode 7,
- Not killed Stentor in Episode 7,
- Started convincing Deimos that they are manipulated by the Cult in the Episode 8
conversation,
- Refused to fight Deimos in Episode 9.

I wasn't expecting that to happen on my playthrough. :(
I actually got angry at the cult and started to internally rage to kill anyone that stood in my way in game. Although in decision making process, I always spare inocents and kill the cults, with exceptions to fights in free roam and faction fights.

I was set on reuniting the whole family right from the beginning so I got the entire family as my lieutenants at the end and it was an awesome ending and I did it without any "guides" so I'm actually super proud, saved me from having to do it all over again in a NGP.

What the name of mission?
This entire war between Greek's City States was pure madness, and good thing that Alexander finally put it at end when he reunited whole Greece as one.
@JamesHLanier It wasn't that bad for the conquered. Hard times came after his death.
@JamesHLanier Alexander respected Persians (and other barbarians) often more than Greeks, that was one of his mistakes. He considered himself as liberator, not as a conqueror. Later he became paranoid and even before he could act harshly to those who defied him, but if you will compare him to other rulers, he was quite benevolent for his time.
This of course changed after his death, with the successor states and the civil war that followed. He was...different, maybe even madman, but he treated those who were considered as barbarians well, but yeah, his fellow countrymen did not share his opinions.
It wasn't Alexander who united Greece it was his father. Until he was assassinated before he could invade Persia.

I forgot to pause the game then when i moved him Alexios said “Good you are back.”
So that’s why Deimos killed My mother because i pick in the “convince deimos” part is “the cult is using you”

19:09 it’s a lot more meaningful with Kassandra as she closed her eyes while Alexios had his sword to her throat
There's one thing that needs pointing out about talking to Myrrine and promising to save Alexios(I played as Kassandra, so I'll be referring to characters as such).
In the first meeting with Myrrine you need to ask about your father.
If you ask her right away what happened to her Kassandra will say Alexios is beyond saving and you won't have another chance to promise to save him during the conversation on the beach.
Oh well I chose Kassandra too, I felt I did the right choices with not sending nikoloas to stentor and then convincing alexios that cult is using him but still he stabbed the mother and had to kill alexios...
So if u choose the that question first but the rest not in order u still can save them?
I rly like how just before you choose the right answer you go up and down and in instant moment you choose the right answer. Very helpfull and not confusing

Ac odyssey is the most easy to get perfect ending no need for tutorial video... Just protect your family in the story line and protect tge interest of your family, don't get to emotional no matter what dont kill your brother and your half brother... Thats it..its too easy... Witcher 3 is the most difficult to get perfect ending, you cannot babysit ciri in the game or you will end up bad or good ending..

In chapter 6 When you first meet Myrinne, you have the option to ask her one of two questions - either about the father or what happened to her - before being interrupted. If you choose the latter, you'll not have the option to tell her you're saving Deimos because of a fight. When you sit down on the beach afterwards, the option you didn't choose won't appear. I did not see this in any guides. I have just lost 6 hours of progress because the several guides I've checked said the quest "Catching Up" is what matters, so when I saved right before starting that quest, it was too late. In not a single one I came across did they say your actions in the quest immediately before this can lock you out.
I know this is late but did you actually get the bad ending because I did the same thing and have 44 hours in and do not want to have to repeat it

The jail scene is the most important one I think. You have to be very careful to be as friendly as possible at each of the scene. In the Jail you have to tell her Myrrine tried to find her, then the cult is after the whole family.
If she snaps at Kleon and tell him she's not his puppet, you won.
Same so I just closed my game and reopened it to kill him instead lol
The ending was worse though cuz myrrene basically hates you now.

Kassandra, as Deimos or as herself is brilliant. The voice actress had done a great job.
You haven't spent a lot of time with alexios then you are right that kassandras voice actor did great but actually spend time with alexios and he is just as good I've spent time with both siblings and I love them both

At the end, when you get onboard the Astria with your ma, pa, sis and stepbro you all have a family squabble on the bridge as you sail to the horizon.

Everytime in a mission they mention deimos make sure to make your character sound like he or she wants to rescue her brother or sister.
When you meet nikolaos
Dont kill him
Once you met deimos in the cult press the button where it said kassandra?
When you meet deimos in the island where you upgrade your spear
Act like you want her back dont antoganizeher!
When you find myrinne and she ask you to get your sister back promise her to get deimos back!

I killed the wolf, Deimos killed Mater, and I killed Deimos. I regret nothing it was an awesome ride
I’m so glad I got the best ending on my first playtrough.

This was the ending I got and I tried hard to make sure this was what happened..I knew Kassandra could be saved. I don’t think she was ever truly evil...she just felt betrayed. Best part that I think we can all take away from this is when Kassandra starts to say “I...”, only for Alexios to cut her off and say “I Know”...after everything she had done he was still willing to forgive her....damn who’s cutting onions in here?

It's really weird seeing it the other way around with Deimos because I played as Kassandra, but I didn't know you could actually turn Deimos around. I believe I didn't promise that I could save Deimos. Oh well, in my version & opinion he was too far gone.

Hello grammer police here!! It's "made" not "maded".
Unbelievable! I should have looked up the jailhouse dialogue; everything else was right and still couldn't convert Deimos. Playing on a new game + and a got a worse ending too with mother freaking out that I couldn't bring him "home". The jailhouse dialogue choices are similar and one shouldn't have that much of a difference over another with appealing to someone that they're being manipulated. This is more particular than with the Witcher 3 outcomes. Imo Deimos was too far gone and twisted at a young age to be saved realistically anyway.
On another note, it always looks bizarre to me when I see Alexios as the hero and Kassandra as Deimos. Kassandra is not convincing at all as Deimos compared to Alexios. His dialogue sounds terrible trying to be the good guy with barely any voice inflection and she just doesn't at all look evil like Alexios does. I think it was intended that Kassandra was meant to be the hero, but the choice was given to the player for those that just have to play as the guy.

i was doing this mission today with kassandra myrinne and alexio and there only opition is myrinne dying
Important for new players on 5:14 where you have to convince Myrrine that you can save Deimos.
When you first meet her in A Mother's Prayer, you her two white choices. CHOOSE "WHO IS MY FATHER" so it'll eliminate that option on the beach and replace it with the "HOW DID YOU GET HERE" which will make you have the choice of "SHE CAN BE SAVED".
I had to triple back on my saves to because that option of saying whether or not she can be saved wasn't there when I was talking to Myrrine on the beach.
Argh, I said she's beyond reason.
But you can promise to Myrrine to bring back Deimos on Bloody Feast mission.

I honestly feel like the ending where Deimos and Myrinne die is the more realistic one. I couldn't forgive Deimos for Brasidas' death and all the chaos she brought.
Thank goodness for multiple save slots though, got the good ending JUST to have all of them as my lieutenants, it's nice seeing Deimos good lol.

I killed Nikolaos in my playthrough and still got the good ending with Deimos. I also was pretty bad in the prison scene. You just need to always select the option "I'll help you" or whatever and you'll get the good ending.

Its the good ending, but the best good (Happy family ending) according to the official guide is when your father, mother, step brother, Deimos and you is sitting at the diner table at the end. Its a good thing that there is no achievement/trophy for all the ending because there is 9 different ending.

I’m not sure how the analysis actually works. I still got the perfect ending but I:
-Killed Nikolaos (I needed revenge)
-Fought Stentor, then later when he comes back I won the duel and spared him. He becomes a disgraced mercenary.
BUT the entire game I promised to get Alexios back so we could be a family again. It was so heartwarming to finally have them together.

I didn’t even know there was a different ending. I got the good one just playing casually. Entire time I thought it would just make me fight him and give me the same ending regardless lol
SAME LOL i just thought i was gonna have to fight him with level 36
I leveled up to 50 thinking I would have to fight him but then I got this ending and was sweet but a little anticlimactic. I also didn't follow any guides.
I worked do long and hard to get the good ending which I call the true ending after seeing what the bad ending has shown me. I don't regret sparing Nikolas, it was the right thing to do and he was sorry for what he did. And I was able to keep Kassandra from continuing down her dark path. I'm finished with the main quest. I still got more cultist members to find and kill afterwards, right now I'll take a break from it for the time being till I'm ready to play again.

5 minutes I go, finished this and got this ending. I just had the consept "I'll answer everything, like I AM Alexios" since I started the game... Nice concept to play the game for the first time. And now, I think I can tell that I'm a fair man...
I thought I messed up by choosing the top option when Deimos interrogates you at the prison but it all depends on if you choose not to kill Deimos in Sparta because I got the good ending after all

@@trackhead9554 dude, they add the feature named as "temporary save" by holding f5 before u doing something important, and if u get wrong choices, u just need to press esc, and load game. as simple like that

Trackhead95 and also, you were the one that chose those desicions, therefore you should see the consequences of your actions. Personally, I don’t like these types of videos because they tell you exactly what choices you need to make when in reality, you should go with what your gut tells you. I got the happy ending (without stentor because he sucks and I killed the Monger in the theater) and I didn’t use this guide at all. I just went with what I thought was right.

There is no correct or incorrect ending, you make whatever choices make the most sense to you, and you get the ending that your choices give you. Simple as that

u have to be consistent with ur answers at the prison, if u convince her that the cult was using her in the prison, do the same in the mountain, if u convince her that the cult is evil, do the same in the mountain

I think you forgot one important choice in tge battlefield when the burnt tree fell on Deimos either "you made your choice" or "hold on"
I choosed hold on but don't know what will happen if I choose otherwise

The story is pretty good once you put everything together.

Roles reversed, as I played Kassandra, this is the ending I got with choices that I made without any knowledge of outcome. I haven’t seen the ‘best ending’, but this is it for me. I don’t understand how having Nikolaos with them would have been ‘better’. F that guy, no regrets. All I aimed for as Kassandra was avenging/redeeming her brother. And that seriously requires Nikolaos dead.
Although I am enjoying AC Valhalla very much, this is a storytelling and graphic masterpiece. It bugs me a little that Valhalla doesn't look as well rendered as Odyssey.
Odyssey is a far better game.

WHEN YOU ARE IN A SPECIFIC HOUSE WITH BRASIDAS AND MYRRINE, BRASIDAS WILL CALL YOU TO A BATTLE, MYRRINE WILL ASK YOU TO TRY TO SAVE DEIMOS, YOU CAN SAY "I CANT PROMISE" "I PROMISE" and another one that is negative, PROMISE THAT YOU WILL SAVE DEIMOS. That is the one that matters.

Guys remember, that in case you chose a bad option, and Myrrine gets killed, let Deimos kill you in the fight, then when you will respawn, you will be able to choose a new option, where Myrrine will stay alive.
