The Spanish Lockdown

There is still a long way to go in the battle against COVID 19 however yesterday on 26th April 2020 we were able to take the children outside after they spent 43 days in the apartment as part of the Spanish lockdown. I made this video about our time in lockdown as a tribute to: 1) my 3 children who have been magnificent despite spending the majority of their days in a small living room; 2) my incredible wife for not only looking after the children but also me as I spent week after week working long hours in the guest room with little time to help her; 3) the people of Barcelona for their spirit and resilience; and 4) to the amazing essential workers who will see us through this crisis. And yes, when you see the ambulances pass in almost every clapping shot, this was the reality of living close to one of the major hospitals in Barcelona. Heroes, all of them.
