In the midst of the craziness of 2020, we managed to get away on a 3.5 week family adventure around the stunning northern coast of Spain. On the way back we ventured into Porto and central Spain. Given everything else that has been going on, this was by far the highlight of the year, and also one my favourite trips :)

The best day of 2020: during the March and April lockdown we made a promise to the girls that one day this year we would go look for pirate treasure on a far away beach. That day finally came at a secret location in the Basque Country in July. Linda, despite trembling at one point at the prospect of being caught by the pirates, was so brave and managed to find all 5 treasures on the secret map
