There's no reason why a person couldn't buy one of these and use it with an Android phone or tablet over OTG, right? I remember years ago RotorRiot, a company that made drone stuff, had a special controller for Android that was basically a wired Xbox style controller with no battery, a phone mount, and a short length of cable to connect the two. I ended up going Bluetooth with my conventional controller; but, I'll admit to really appreciating the plug and play nature of my wired X2 Pro telescopic controller.
EDIT: I don't wish to be included in the giveaway. I recently won a Gulikit KK3 Pro which I'm very happy with. As a result I simply don't need another controller. Hopefully these will go to people who are coping with cheapo controllers or a brand name unit that's now on its last legs. Thanks again for everything you do on this channel, Klef.
That is very kind of you Matt, extremely commendable. It's one of those products that I'm less the target for, being that I don't play on my Series X that often but the quality is absolutely undeniable. This made me understand where the Nova Lite comes from a bit better.
Gamesir has a gamepad for phones, tablets etc...
@@bunthearchive2404 - I'm aware. In fact I own several.
The video we're all commenting under is a giveaway video. I was asking because I wanted to know if I could actually use this controller were I to win it. I don't own an Xbox or PC at the moment and if I can't use it then I don't want to take it away from someone who could.
In the bad old days, wired Xbox controllers often didn't work with Android. Other wired controllers, yes. But not Xbox controllers. Even first party controllers would only work over a wire if you paired it wirelessly first. It was weird. I'm not sure if these behave the same way or if that was fixed sometime after the One gave way to the Series Xboxes.
Since i found this company, i loved their products, and this one is excellent, i use controllers for my phone and sometimes for games
You and I both, it started rough with the original X2, no lie. They have come up so much since. They started cheap but they used their profits to increase the quality, very respectable.
To be honest these controllers are really good, (debatable for the price) but they are solid for what a controller should be, like other controllers around the price rage dont have software at all. GameSir really does need to be commended for what they do in the controller space.
I tried liking 50 times but the number kept going up and down. YES, YESSSS!! There are a few ones that also do phenomenal work but I gotta say, considering just how many directions that GameSir shoot at, they hardly ever miss so far. Be it Xbox controllers, PC controllers, Switch controllers, telescopic controllers. They really are making this market move at a faster pace, they have so much influence with the quality they put out.
controller seems so good man and the iron man version is so nice. been using the elite series controller for a while but it’s time for a change honestly
I peek at it from time to time, I swear it looks like the paint job of a car. It's gorgeous!
I like the g7 se , will buy one for sure.
Yeah, it's a good product!
Love the vid!! Could really use one of these for sure
Well good luck then!
Hey @laggingu4203 , you've won! Congratulation! Please see the public post on my channel, write me an e-mail and let me know which one you'd like!
Very impressive controllers! I've heard a lot about GameSir but have never seen their software in action, it's a nice middle ground of simple and feature packed. Hopefully they can figure out a way to get the 1k polling and the headphone jack working together at some point for the people who use wired headsets in their wired controller on pc.
I remember reading seeing a post that I kind of glanced over of someone saying there was apparently a way? But that is something I have not researched beyond that. I always saw it as a "cap" in bandwidth so to leave the 1000hz functional, the audio encoding bitrate was removed. With that said, I'm unsure if that has anything to do at all, just guess work on my part.
@@KiwiDragn do not buy gamesir there joysticks snapped in 1 week and there’s no replacement
Great review, like always!
I appreciate that, thank you Dorion! Wishing you and the family an awesome week-end! :)
I would always love that Iron Man controller but I'll put my name in the hat knowing I won't win LOL
Thank you for participating and good luck!
A wireless version would feed families.
Right? I wonder why it hasn't happened yet but there's gotta be a reason. Licensed Xbox wireless controllers do exist, but it's extremely limited which companies can seem to be able to make them, off the top of my head I can only think of Razer, PDP, Scuf and Turtle Beach.
@@aleefamran2441 it’s been leaked they’re making one called the g7 pro but the dpad looks horrid icl 😂
@@GameTechTalkit’s most likely v hard for gamesir to get a licensed wireless controller thru xbox because it would be offered at a price point that is so competitive to xbox that they just would never even think to let them make the controller. they have wired options cheaper than a base xbox controller with way more features.
the background music is always good.
Well thank you!
That Iron man controller looks awesome I wouldn't want to play with it either lol more of a display unless my other remote gave out
Yup, we're about that life! 🫡
This is gonna be on my Xmas list fsfs. I’ve only seen good things about it except the wire.
I mean... the Iron Man SE kind of has a nice looking wire, sure it's just that but it matches the product beautifully! KappaHD
@@GameTechTalkyeah tbh wires don’t bother me too much, it just takes up space un my setup. But it’s really not a deal breaker for me.
cant wait for a wireless version
We might be waiting a long time, unless they release one that is dongle compatible because a bluetooth controller for Xbox that isn't Microsoft's own first party, I'm not sure it exists if being honest.
Of all the controller you have reviewed which one have you fell in love with and is your preferred controller to play in PC?
Ohh that is a tough question but the honest most answer is one I can’t currently give out because I have an embargo! 😉
With that said, as someone that reviews them, you’d be surprised just how much these companies constantly one-up each other. It’s disconcerting how consistently they manage to slightly improve over one another, almost as if they were all in agreement that it’s each other’s turn to do better than the previous.
@@GameTechTalkhahaha sorry for the tough question, ordering myself an easy SMXx10 so me and my brother can play in the ps2 emulator, we've gotten a bit to glued on it lately
@@GameTechTalk Absolutely fair! Now we know to keep an eye out for one of the future reviews. ;)
@@Irving_alexis011 It's a very nice controller, nice pick!
Trigger stops and it’s hands down the best controller
That would be awesome indeed!
I heard that the HE variant is smaller than the SE one. Is this true, and if yes, which one is closer to the original xbox series controller dimensions?
If it is, it's by such a small amount that it is indistinguishable for me. I'd say they both feel the same and both are extremely close to the Xbox controller, to the point that I wouldn't know if you put one in my hands with my eyes closed.
@GameTechTalk Alright, thank's
How is the stick tension in the G7SE vs PS5 stock controller? Subjectively PS5 felt a lot stiffer to me, but the stick forces should only be 55g vs 59g. Is the HE even stiffer than the PS5, at 70g?
EDIT: Oh okay, the PS5 controller I tried was modded.
I was about to say. Glad you figured it out, cheers and Happy New Year!
@@GameTechTalk I kinda liked it. Do you know any springs that fit the JH16s in the G7SE?
Thanks, you too.
@@ArchOfficial I can’t say that I do sadly. Plus, GameSir use their own proprietary module if I recall? Though maybe not on the G7SE.
@@GameTechTalk No, it's a K-Silver JH16. They have a custom housing with their colors and text. The TMR sticks are also a K-Silver module, I don't remember it off the top of my head.
Hay , i saw the video but till now i dont know wich one i should buy
Did you end up choosing?
Should I get gamesir nova lite or easySMX x10?
Gamesir nova lite is great for its value but also missing some features and easySMX x10 is very popular in my region maybe for its mechanical buttons but it's a bit costly
Never owned a gamepad before, I will be playing genshin impact and forza horizon 5 with gamepad. Pls recommend the better one ❤
I kind of said it in your comment, the Nova Lite is amazing especially when thinking of its value. With that said, the features of the X10 definitely makes it the better controller of the two. If money is no object, I would say the X10 will give you an overall superior experience and more flexibility on how to fully utilize your controller.
I play mlb the show competitively and the community swears by the G7 SE. I'm undecided between the G7 or an 8bitdo.
Oh... Get me no wrong, I love me some 8BitDo, great products overall but if I'm trying to be serious about my gaming, 8BitDo is not it. Doesn't mean they are bad, or unreliable, just that it's a controller designed to lean back and enjoy some light pace gaming. If you're competitive, if you are after highly responsive, highly reliable, persistent components, between the two, G7 SE / HE is where it's at.
Did the give away already happen?
It did, each were won by wpeople in the comments!
@@GameTechTalk right on man
Hi I'd real appreciate if you answered my question
Is this better or should I buy the ultimate 2c?
Or is there a better option up to 60 dollars?
If you know you were going to use the 2C wired, don't think twice, get this. This is on every aspect superior to the 2C BUT it's only wired whereas the 2C is bluetooth, dongle and wired.
@@GameTechTalk yeah I Wanna use it on a laptop so wire doesn't bother me
Thx for replying
@@emerald_artin I mean, on Reddit, the 2C is blowing up like crazy. I must have been drunk (jokes I don’t like alcohol) when I reviewed it because to me, the sticks were subpar but that’s not what the data is showing and I trust that data, I just don’t have the same experience at all.
@@GameTechTalk In my country the price of a duals sense and the gamesir are the same
Should I buy the dual sense or gamesir or maybe the xbox cuz I only use it for windows games
@@emerald_artin Whaaattt?!? Either GameSir is grossely overpriced, or Dualsense is grossely underpriced lol. GameSir make amazing controllers but Dualsense remains one of the most impressive controllers in the market, drastically so in games that can fully utilize all its features!
Zero drift sounds like a mega man x racing game
If that is the excuse for Capcom to give us a new Mega Man X, I'm happy to pitch them your idea! 😂 Please, it does sound awesome! Mega Man X: Zero Drift and it has double meaning!
I have large hands. I just recently started playing 2knba and i feel like my xbox one controller has a bunch of delay when i shoot, is not consistent at all. Which one do you say has better ergonomics for larger hands, this or 8bit do 2c? And which one has less latency on inputs?
The 2C has been benchmarked and showcases phenomenal button latency, but we are in the "wow so amazing" territory, which I would say the G7 line also is part of, if ever so slightly not as fast "latency-wise". Personally, I don't think the Ultimate line from 8BitDo has desirable ergonomics, good, not great. As for the G7 line, if you like the ergonomic of Xbox controllers, you'll love that one, it's basically a 1:1.
Do game freak sticks fit as they should?
@@MSP87 Yes but ps5 versi9n
Thanks @RafaelGoulartDF
Hey I was just wondering how I’d overcome the no headphone issue if going over to 1000hz, I have another wired controller as well but I feel if I get this controller, I won’t be able to use my headset.
It is said that some people found ways, I never researched it, barely caught headlines here and there. I’m sorry to say, I wouldn’t know where to direct on if, and most certainly how (if even possible). Sorry
@@GameTechTalk thank you!
ivr been using the SE for over a year now i wanna give the he a shot please pick me i really could use this..
Oh my apology, the winning controllers have been sent quite a week or two ago. The winners are somewhere in the comments. Also, the winners are determined by sheer luck, but rest assured that I intend to continue making giveaways, I like the joy it brings me to gift gaming peripherals to fellow gamers!
@GameTechTalk nah it's cool hope it went to a younger kid that needs it or something i just ordered my Iron man HE the grips put the HE over the top and I have that white blck and red faceplate to match as well thnx man.
Hello, can you map right stick move to the extra buttons? Like right stick down to the extra trigger?
You can remap buttons but you cannot remap sticks to do buttons if I understand the question clearly. Like say swap the right stick with the face buttons.
@@GameTechTalk yeah that I meant thank you for your response
Just use another faceplate then if you are worried about the glossy finish.
Dude!! Can you believe I had no clue I could remove it before you mentioned it? 😂 Wow, I'm terrible 😅 (and thanks btw)
@@GameTechTalk Its discounted at $45 now at aliexpress. Was tempted but do not like the rubber grips as they wont last due to my sweaty palms. My G7 SE still going strong. Getting the nova lite now for my PC and use the SE on my xbox. Nova lite also have an iron man version and I just ordered that.
So what is the better one for bo6?
I think the G7 SE/HE is just a no brainer, a "can't go wrong" solution for amazing Xbox gaming!
@@GameTechTalk I just ordered for the HE thank you
@@kkpgamez6685tell me how is going your experience with it on bo6? Thanks
Which is better, Kaleid or G7 HE?
They are extremely EXTREMELY similar. But if I had to choose, I'd give a slight edge to the G7 HE and contrary to the Kaleid, changing polling rate is simpler on the G7 HE, whereas with Kaleid, you need to download an extra software for some reason.
I'd say the Kaleid looks better (subjective), the G7 HE is better. If you want the best of both worlds, go Iron Man edition, it looks like a car, so beautiful!
Why there are no controllers com0atible with xbox and nor sl Bluetooth (only original xbox, but that is very easy to develop drift)
I have a theory on that which basically, it comes down one of three things in my opinion:
-Microsoft doesn’t want to risk for proprietary channels to leak and get « stolen »
-They legally cannot because some radio waves can be government regulated
-Their licensing program never included Bluetooth and they haven’t changed their policies
Speculations, but I think I’d fall within one of those three reasons.
Hello there
Oh hello! And good luck :)
Can i play with them on pc?
Yup, you absolutely can!
It's worth it??
Most definitely, it's one of those products that just nails a bunch of positives, it's headache-free and overall of remarkable quality for the price!

Omelet this one slide.... 😅
I have the kaleid i love it and i miss it every time i use the xbox control. I wish they have it wireless
I think it's a licensing thing to be honest. Microsoft doesn't want to give "wireless radio" license, or maybe it's that they can't? I don't know. These things are usually regulated by law so it could be that it's not permitted with foreign collaborations. Just throwing ideas out there, I don't actually know why.
@@GameTechTalk no sorry I should have been more clear. I'm a PC gamer so it doesn't matter. I just like the cool looks of the wired controllers just like those 2, They wireless options just looks boring. The iron man looks amazing but I'll be just like u I won't play with it lol

I unfortunately do not have any spares or leftovers but if I review more licensed controllers, I will be doing the same. Stay tuned, you might just be a future lucky winner of one. Cheers!
🥸
😁 Good luck
Dpad is trash
On which one though? I like it on the SE but the HE Dpad strangely reminds me of the one found on the G8/G8+ and it definitely is not what I personally like in dpads.
Don't listen to this guy. So far, NOTHING is better than the Elite Series 2 for Xbox. I even just bought the brand new Razer Wolverine V3 Pro that had tons of hype. Guess what? Cheap feeling and terrible. Stick drift out the box with "hall effect" joysticks. Is this controller good for the price? Definitely. But better than the Elite Series 2 is a flat out lie. It's the only controller I can use and I've tried them ALL.
The adjustable tension thumbsticks is really good for fps games on the series 2. Once you get a feel for the gamesir g7se or he Hall effect sticks tho, it’s so good for aiming. I’ve had my gamesir g7 se for about 8 months with no stick drift and no problems thus far and I paid 34 usd. For the price nothing beats the gamesir lineup. However, I’ll agree; the feel, the bells and whistles that come with the es2 is really solid.
I have had 2 elite series 2 and each one got stick drift and I am a chill gamer but the controller isn't bad it's just not built to last
What @spacerobot2213 said. I do want to point out I have not said any of the things that OP says I did. smh
@@g00senek2 the elite sucks man I'm so tired of hearing "elitist drivel about the gamesir not being good or that the series 2 is good no pun intended. The elite is DESIGNED to break and all the parts break. It can't be overclocked. How is it worth the price.
@@ChevyRedneckGFX I mean that's your opinion man but where are my extra paddles on the gamesir? Id give it a shot but I need 3 paddles for my FPS shooter button layout
no polling rate test and dpad test in fighting games 🥲
My apology, I usually do these things but I'll be honest, I ended up cutting them because I am revisiting some of the tests I usually make, and how I make them. With that said, the controller can effectively go from 250hz, 500hz and 1000hz (with caveats addressed during the video). Latency appears decent, I'd say slightly above average for the most part, extremely stable and the stick resolution is phenomenal, beyond what I usually see even.
As for the d-pad, I like the SE one, I'd say B- but as for the HE one, more like C- for me personally. I'm not a fan of the tactile d-pad GameSir has on some of their controllers, but if you don't intend to play fighting games, both d-pad will do the job for input commands.
Thanks to your comment, it's letting me know some people look forward to these things so I'll leave them in and only make changes when I have a fully fledged solution, rather than pre-emptively "rolling them out". Thanks for mentioning it, you made a difference today!
@@GameTechTalk nice, looking forward to it.
