I keep coming back to this. For all my god given gifts, talents and strengths i consider myself to be weak a lot of the time. There are so many things i need to work on. And for some of those things it feels like i try and try and just can never improve. I want to be free of some of my struggles. I feel like i cant drop them no matter how much effort i put into them. This talk helps me to remember that god still loves me and that i need to keep practicing and learning.
I'm 63. If I had received this kind of counseling when I was 19 after having gotten into sexual sins, instead of judgement and ridicule, I would have done everything to remain in the church. This was beautiful and blessed.
Well, you reacieved this kind of counseling at 63.. Whats age have to do with it? Gods grace doesn’t expire when you turn 20. He blesses you with it for a lifetime here on earth and for all etirnity. I was 35 when I came back to church. best decision in my life!! It took me so long to come back because I didn’t understand grace either. It took me going to church for a year straight before I finally got up the courage to talk to my Bishop ( theres no rush on that either). 2 months after talking to the Bishop, I was in the temple getting my own endowments. I cry just about every day for two reasons. One being, I can feel my saviors love surrounding me almost always. And two, thinking of all that time I missed out on feeling my saviors love. If I can find my way back to church then anyone can. You got this brother! You wont regret it. Thats a promise! good luck. Im rooting for you!! 🙏
God told me in my prayers with a family member I was worried about after their sexual sins that they had repented and were forgiven. It's like any memory had been wiped away and completely faded. That was how I felt it was regarded, to forget and move forward.
welcome to the church brother, the grace is something that everyone should understand not only new members, even me with more than 15 years in the church.
I'm 47 year old man who was given this message by a twenty three year old LDS member I work with and it was completely life-changing. What a blessing from someone half my age and from a completely different background. God blesses you in the most unique ways when you least expect it. Thanks Kyler👍
My Goddaughter died a couple days of a drug overdose. My heart has been filled with worry for eternal salvation. This talk popped up on my YT feed, what a blessing and an answer to fervent prayers! Thank you.
I’m so sorry for your loss and I know that God hears your prayers and he loves his children no matter how much we miss the mark…. I believe this life IS pure hell on earth without the love and hope of Jesus Christ. I thank God for sending his son to die for us all at the young age of 33. God could only do this with the most love because he designed us like himself, as spiritual beings to have a temporary human experience and find love and meaning in all the suffering on earth …. but most of his children fall short and that is why I believe god sent his only son to save us from the darkness of human suffering or a life without the love of Jesus. I believe God has her precious heart and she’s no longer suffering but comforted by his unconditional love 💕 Bless you my sister in Christ!🙏
The missionaries visited my home today, and we read Moroni last chapter and last 3 verses and reminded me of this phrase "his grace is sufficient" . 2024. This talk changes lives.
First of all, I apologize for my english. He was my mission´s president when I served in Chile Santiago East Mission (2003-2005). He is a great man, a lovely man; really a man of God. He is exactly the kind of man you can see and feel in the tape. I had the blessing to know him and learn from him. He´s like a father to me I testify his words are truth. The Grace of God and Jesus Christ its a healing power who lift us, encourage us, strength us and guide us through this path knows as mortal life
You must have a lot of respect for your friend to listen to a sermon/talk of more than 30 minutes. Glad you enjoyed it. I have loved this talk from the first time I heard.
I hope things have found you well since this message. Talk to your friend more about your questions! I know you’ll get some answers that speak to you. 4 years ago I did the same and it changed my life
I love how he expressed the depth of grace. I am LDS and I have been so my whole life and have not heard this so eloquently. I am so glad you took the time to listen. Oh how we must feed our souls and build upon our foundations! Thank you for leaving such a kind comment. I just sent this to a friend of mine, we were just talking today about some of the things that Brad spoke of. 10 years later...it is amazing God's timing! side note...I pray you and your family stay healthy and strong in all the mess that is going on in our world right now. :)
This talk has literally changed my life for the best since my wife showed it to me a year ago. Grace is finished. We can either find the humility to accept it through following commandments and holding the Saviors hand through it all or we can reject it by persuing our own pride and depending soley on our own intelect. Sincerest love to anyone in the pursuit of accepting grace.
Man I wasn't going to go to church today and then I watched this video. One of the most powerful videos i've ever seen. It also made me realise I didn't know what grace actually meant. I was way too hard on myself for things. The Church Is True!!!
2023, Sunday morning right before going to Church. I love this talk so much and I wish the members of my Ward could take the time to listen to it. Every time I get to address them, I throw parts of it so they get to understand Grace.
I am a visual person, so I love the similes and analogies that express the meaning so well! Mortgage instead of rent...brilliant. Paying the piano teacher...it makes it easy to understand. This is a truely wonderful way to present this message...and it is TRUE!!!
nothing calms perfectionistic rage like the grace of Jesus Christ and the knowledge that there is a tomorrow and the perfect teacher and coach will not pull us out of the game
I'm member of the Church of Jesus Christ since my 8 years old. I served a mission. But only now a learned about the really jesus's grace. Thank you, brother. p.s: I'm learning English right now. Sorry if my English it's not good.
your english is perfect!!!!! You are making an effort. Do not apologize! :) I always apologize for my spanish tho and I shouldn't do that either. God bless you
I’ve been pleading with God for help in some trying circumstances and then this talk pops up in my UA-cam feed. I needed to hear this so badly. It is proof that God is looking out for me and my family.
I’ve been struggling a lot recently with feeling worthy enough to be a member of the church. My best friend who is now on a mission sent this video to me. Even though it was made ten years ago, this is exactly what I needed to hear in my life now. My family on my mom’s side doesn’t go to church, and I’ve had complicated feelings about the church in the past, some still now, but this really helped me feel so much better and less alone.
Certainly one of the great talk in the history of Mormonism. I want my friends and family to hear this. The atonement of Jesus Christ is the only thing in all of religion that really makes sense.
I believe that everything I come across is for a reason, hearing this Talk was something I really needed. Hopefully it touched and inspired you as much as did me. Indeed these are true words being spoken. God loves us all and wants us to return to him and we should make use of his greatest blessing.
I did NOT get grace until this talk. I'm still learning but I'm sitting here thinking HOW did I not understand it before? I first heard this talk on my mission.
I think this is my all time favorite talk. I discovered a few years ago when I needed to reconnect myself with the Savior. I keep coming back to this to remind myself of the hope I felt when I first heard this. To remind myself that He paid it all for me and that He expects so much.
Let's just say with 50+ years of experience and this talk resonates with me; many...many...many times during my life I have felt like quitting, alone, unworthy, and unprotected. This 30mins of this talk has me understanding why perseverance and enduring through trials is worth every difficult moment, it also helps me understand how I got to the end of the many...many...tunnels of trials. Jesus Christ. Young or Old take your life and move it forward, Christ is with us every step along the way.
Let me be direct and clear. The answers to the questions “Am I good enough?” and “Will I make it?” are “Yes! You are going to be good enough” and “Yes, you are going to make it as long as you keep repenting and do not rationalize or rebel.” The God of heaven is not a heartless referee looking for any excuse to throw us out of the game. He is our perfectly loving Father, who yearns more than anything else to have all of His children come back home and live with Him as families forever. He truly gave His Only Begotten Son that we might not perish but have everlasting life . . . I love the way President Gordon B. Hinckley used to teach this principle. I heard him say on several occasions, “Brothers and sisters, all the Lord expects of us is to try, but you have to really try!” -- Elder J. Devn Cornish of the Seventy -- General Conference October 2016
Grace is a free gift. You just have to have faith in Christ to receive it. you dont need to do ANYTHING to get salvation or grace. (Ephesians 2:8-9). The works are just supposed to be an ensign to the world that you have been converted to Christ.
I just listened to him yesterday at a preist/laurel conference. His talk was directed at us youth. I wasnt to sure about going to it but im sure glad I did. :) His talk was so engaging and not for a second was boring. If I had the opportunity to go to listen to the same exact talk he gave I would in a heart beat!
This was sent to me by my son. The message was inspiring, true, and instructive. How thankful I am for my Savior, Jesus Christ. It has brought me peace.
Christ is the only difference. I know that if I keep the covenants with him and his Father I will be redeemed by him and gain eternal life and exaltation with my wife. All of us can receive this blessing through the Christ's atonement.
Brad Wilcox, this was recommended to me by a couple of young Missionaries and I am so grateful they shared it with me. You, Brad, spoke and delivered this message so well and I thank God for His Grace and for you delivering this message to us. I believe everyone needs to hear this message. Again, I thank you🙏🙏🙏 Praise God
Brother, your talk today, has inspired me, as a woman, who will practice Grace. To feel, understand and know that God loves each of us. No matter what. How we show our love to him, in simple acts of intention. To exercise our spirit testimony. I find Grace is the answer. God is the answer. May the power of Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit, Gods grace be with you. Each and every moment. I realize it’s much easier to be loyal. Living, in , the teachings of Jesus Christ. Of the lords plan . He makes no mistakes, We only need to practice…. I love this thought. 🙏🏼🌍
This is what I've needed countless times, even today!! Brother Wilcox, you're amazing, and I love learning from you!!! This is why you're in the general young men presidency today!!!!
Hearing this talk 2 years ago made ALL THE DIFFERENCE for me. As I have shared this with so many I have reminded them, "We always teach that this is a gospel of hope." For so many adults and youth this talk (and Elder Cardon's, 4/13 Conference) is the very hope we look for every day. Today we hope, tomorrow we believe and someday we know (Elder Holland, 4/13 Conference). Hold onto the hope that this talk gives!
Thank you. As a mother I know I have failed at trying to teach this to my children. Probably because I didn't understand it at the time. I hope it is a message they can find and take to heart.
I am a father of four and sometimes I feel the same though they are great kids. I hope that after all something has entered their hearts, most probably not the words but the unspoken messages When I feel angry about something they do, even to me, I have to remind myself that this anger would only push them away from me and perhaps even from the gospel. I rather try to understand why they behave like that and give them more love. Jesus helps me by his example: perfect love in spite of standing up for the truth.
First all of, i apologize because of my english! I Know Brother Wilcox very well. He was my mission's president in Chile Santiago Este Mission. He always lifted up us and encourageous us with his teachings and speeches... He's a very special man; it's really a man of GOD, and he has the gift to teach, to make comprehensible such basic and important doctrines for our salvation.
There is a phrase I found somewhere else which helped me immensely. I don't remember who said it, or the exact wording but it is this: "Sanctification is a process, not an event". You set your course, and if a wind comes along and blows you off course, you just swing around and resume from where you are. That is key: Christ will take you, wherever you are, and whatever you've done. He will do it over and over again. However don't expect to stay the same if you take up his name. He will mold you to be like him, eventually.
This is the best talk I've ever heard. I heard it after it first came out years ago and I still listen to it at least once a year. It speaks truth right to my heart. ❤️❤️❤️
An absolute classic... And due to all of the missionaries that have listened to this on their smartphones, I'm certain this has far more than 1 million views!!
Everyone needs to see this video. Such, hope, such wisdom and such truth is in it. I will visit this video often when I think I'm falling short of what Jesus wants from me.
Years ago..i member of the Baptist church near Pacita San Pedro Laguna Philippines..approachedme and asked...have you been saved Brother? I learned latter that they have this 3 foot rule..To ask anyone and everyone this golden question as they come in contact with them within 3 feet...i wish i could be as valiant as they are proclaiming to the world not only salvation by grace but the fullness of the restored gospel of Jesus Christ. Im grateful i stumbled upon this video on youtube and hope and pray that i can share it to Archie Robles and Edgar Gravoso and Pastor Jeff Pabuaya my friends who are members of the Baptist church. And born again Christian preachers like Stella Tae He Fajardo
I love this talk! Thank you so much Brother Wilcox!
This morning I turn on my face book happen to listen to the BYU speaker. I listen and enjoy Brother talk about Grace and many others about the youth. I wish all the youth would listen to his talk and parents as well. I really enjoy it.
Latter day saints are still learning what it means to be saved and changed by grace. Just like other Christians. I love the things I've been able to consider with this talk. I love the scriptures. I'm grateful to always have something to consider.
God bless you I started my journey with God since I was 11 I am now 13 this really helped me because of the trials and I thank you for this Grace is great
At first I thought it would be useless to watch a vidieo that my brother sent me that was 30 min long but now I know I was wrong and every second was worth it
Who's here in 2024?
Me
I’ve been here nearly every year since it was given.
I rewatch this regularly. We all need this reminder.
I need to hear it more frequently than that.
I'm not LDS, nor am I even religious. However, this video is exactly what I needed at this moment in my life. Thank you.
Oh Alex, give the missionaries a shot. This truth is amazing.
I’m a former non religious convert and you should continue to look into it. Don’t need to rush. God is great and Jesus loves you
Did you ever read the Book Of mormon or visit with missionaries?
I keep coming back to this. For all my god given gifts, talents and strengths i consider myself to be weak a lot of the time. There are so many things i need to work on. And for some of those things it feels like i try and try and just can never improve. I want to be free of some of my struggles. I feel like i cant drop them no matter how much effort i put into them. It's been 7 years. How are things now?❤
ONE OF THE GREATEST TALKS OF ALL TIME!!!
“Do we earn a sunrise?” That really made me understand grace.
And "we are not trying to earning heaven, we are *learning* heaven, we are preparing for It" ✨🙏
I'm 63. If I had received this kind of counseling when I was 19 after having gotten into sexual sins, instead of judgement and ridicule, I would have done everything to remain in the church. This was beautiful and blessed.
It’s not too late to transform

I am new LDS. So is my wife. We were baptized on the same day together. I needed this!
welcome to the church brother, the grace is something that everyone should understand not only new members, even me with more than 15 years in the church.
I am LDS too but you don't need to be LDS to have a personal relationship with Christ.
welcome!!!
"Grace is not the light at the end of the tunnel, but the light that moves us through the tunnel" ♥♥
Well said.

I’m 82yrs old thank you for such a great message!!❤

Amazing message.
Beautiful and touching. Thank you for sharing.

God loves ALL His children, she will be absolutely ok
I’m not young, I’m 55 and I needed this today ;because I was feeling so lost. Thank you
Hi, God loves you. 🙏 pray and ask for his help
I didn't get grace until this talk
The missionaries visited my home today, and we read Moroni last chapter and last 3 verses and reminded me of this phrase "his grace is sufficient" . 2024. This talk changes lives.
Christ fed the 5000 with 12 baskets to spare. How grateful I am that he has grace to forgive and heal me, with enough to spare!
First of all, I apologize for my english.
He was my mission´s president when I served in Chile Santiago East Mission (2003-2005).
He is a great man, a lovely man; really a man of God. He is exactly the kind of man you can see and feel in the tape. I had the blessing to know him and learn from him. He´s like a father to me

We'll said. I think you were both fortunate to know each other! Great English!
Your english is perfect. Thank you for sharing your comments. God bless you!
@Felipe Aranguiz What a small world isn't it! God bless you for serving and for your amazing testimony too.
Pablo Torres i would like to ask a favor... how can i send you message? do you have a messenger?
So blessed. Your English is good.
Wow really good stuff here. I’m not Mormon I was sent this by a good friend who is. The way he articulates grace is awesome
You must have a lot of respect for your friend to listen to a sermon/talk of more than 30 minutes. Glad you enjoyed it. I have loved this talk from the first time I heard.

i appreciate you being open to watching it
This talk has literally changed my life for the best since my wife showed it to me a year ago.
Grace is finished. We can either find the humility to accept it through following commandments and holding the Saviors hand through it all or we can reject it by persuing our own pride and depending soley on our own intelect.
Sincerest love to anyone in the pursuit of accepting grace.
And sincerest love to anyone who rejects it (the best way to find joy in this life is to join Christ in serving others).
Not a mormon, but you explained Grace where even I understaood. Thank you
Man I wasn't going to go to church today and then I watched this video. One of the most powerful videos i've ever seen. It also made me realise I didn't know what grace actually meant. I was way too hard on myself for things. The Church Is True!!!
This is the best simplest explanation of grace I have ever heard. I just love this talk. Thank you
2023, Sunday morning right before going to Church. I love this talk so much and I wish the members of my Ward could take the time to listen to it. Every time I get to address them, I throw parts of it so they get to understand Grace.
So worth the 30 minutes 😭 I could listen to this every day and still learn something new.
So, so true!
Straight up
Me too👍
I feel like I NEED to listen to this everyday 😥
Yes! I had to pause this several times to write down what he said.
This should go viral for our kids in 2021 it's ten years old but very needed now
Here I am 9 years later, indefinitely needed this
This changed my life
Same!!
This talk is everything. A masterpiece of theology. The best part: it’s true.
I’ve listened to this talk a dozen times, and now in 2021, I’m still learning something new from it. God bless you Brad Wilcox.
Right, now it's 2023, and I'm listening to it too😂😂🩷!
Thank you, Brad Wilcox!
Thanks for listening!
This is one of those talks you need to watch once a year
Totally! It is such a great reminder of the reality of Christ's Atonement.
I am a visual person, so I love the similes and analogies that express the meaning so well! Mortgage instead of rent...brilliant. Paying the piano teacher...it makes it easy to understand. This is a truely wonderful way to present this message...and it is TRUE!!!

Thank you for this enlightening talk. I finally feel saved. I feel free and loved. And now I know I am celestial bound. What a terrific feeling.
Probably one of the greatest talks of all time! Still rocking it in 2021!
And 2022!
Yes! This is a Timeless explanation! I hope to see this one still circulating in another 20 years! People need to know and understand!
And 2023🫡
And 2024 ✌🏽✊🏽
2019 and this talk is still killing it
It is an eternal speech.
And in 2020. I had at least two people in my Sunday School class quoting this today.
This is a talk teaching the truth about grace of God, so it won’t get old. Only the theories of men will get old as time goes by.
And by “killing” you certainly are referring to the slaying of false, incomplete doctrines that are ubiquitous! Ha ha ha. Definitely an eternal talk!
And 2021
Certainly one of the great talk in the history of Mormonism. I want my friends and family to hear this. The atonement of Jesus Christ is the only thing in all of religion that really makes sense.
The atonement is infinitely beautiful.

He will mold you to be like him, eventually.
ooh your comments gave me chills. brilliantly put. thank you for sharing!
The talk starts @ 01:34
"The Grace of Jesus Christ covers us"
The greatest explanation of Grace ever
God's Grace! We cannot be saved without it.
This is the best talk I've ever heard. I heard it after it first came out years ago and I still listen to it at least once a year. It speaks truth right to my heart. ❤️❤️❤️
Listen to Scott Hahn's conversion story.
I love this talk...was shared by my son whose currently on a mission...
Thank you for the recharge! I am ready to face the world strong and ready.....
The clearest and most moving talk on Grace I have ever heard.
Thank you, Brother Wilcox, for reminding us of the grace available now...no just when we've done well and feel worthy to ask for it.
Wonderful speech. Very clearly lays out that we do works to prepare for heaven and honor the debt which was paid for us. Thank you.
He escuchado tantas veces este increíble discurso wue lo he memorizado en inglés. Me encanta y siempre que tengo la oportunidad lo comparto ❤

What a classic talk on the gift of grace made possible through our Savior, Jesus Christ. Thank you, Brother Wilcox!
Latter day saints are still learning what it means to be saved and changed by grace. Just like other Christians. I love the things I've been able to consider with this talk. I love the scriptures. I'm grateful to always have something to consider.
This talk is a masterpiece.
