The all-new Baleno will take on the Hyundai i20 and Honda Jazz head-on. It comes with Maruti's trusted 1.2-litre petrol engine and 1.3-litre diesel engine. The car will also get dual front airbags, ABS, EBD & Seatbelts with Pretensioners and Force Limiters as standard fitment from the base variant onwards. Here is our comprehensive video review.
Maruti Baleno is introduced in four trim levels: Sigma, Delta, Zeta and Alpha. The Delta and Zeta trims also get the CVT gearbox in petrol fuel trim. It is the first car in the Indian market to come with Apple CarPlay feature. In addition, the Baleno flaunts HID Headlamps with LED Daylight Running Lamps & LED Rear Combination Lights as standard. Maruti Baleno petrol variants are priced between Rs. 5.25-7.57 Lakhs (Ex. Showroom, Delhi), while the diesel variants come in a price bracket of Rs. 6.36-8.35 Lakhs (Ex. Showroom, Delhi). It is available in a total of seven exterior colors.

@@kuldeepbhawar5836 it's up to you what you prefer saftey or milage like most of the Indians do . I will prefer Tata , ford etc... People say Maruti parts can be easily available which is correct but trust me others brand have quality in their products so you don't need to change parts for longer period like Maruti vehicles . Maruti parts have shorter life.

The steering wheel of swift returns to it orginal position after a u turning but in baleno its not happening is it a flaw or is it like that ?

Baleno is the best option in petrol in the premium hatchback segment, as he said its a feel good car assures peace of mind ..excellent space, mileage , airconditioning, interior and exterior styling,infotainment, projector lights, and the suspension is also being revised... also a stable car in cruising speeds, handles great...safest car in the segment wth new technology wth reduced weight, low weight doesnt compromise safety but adds on the safety, 4 star crash test rating..... apart from that low spare part cost and good service adds to it...go for it ..

I am from Bangalore and I bought baleno delta cvt 3 months back. The main reason for going in for CVT was the traffic of Bangalore. My office is 10 KMs away from my residence and it takes about 45 minutes to reach. Thanks for the CVT, I am no more feeling the hassle of traffic. Rather enjoying.

I have seen this review very carefully many times. Thanks for good review. Helped me make right decision. Before buying Baleno i have test driven i20 Elite and Jazz found both good to drive. But found both Expensive to buy & maintain. Baleno impressed me on the Test Drive. Found this car more value for money than other two. Now having driven Baleno Alpha Petrol for 1500 Km now. I feel good about making right choice when i see it giving 19+ KM milage in Highway 17+ KM in City conditions with AC all the time. No Car is perfect but Baleno is inch closer to perfect at it's price.
how about the build quality ? sheet metal on the body ? is it really easy to dent ?

Suzuki's 6 AT is 100% much better than VW, Audi 1.0 DSG or Ford 1.0 powershift series, at least you won't stuck on road and spend a lot of money and time to get repair. fuel efficiency and economical reliablity is everything.
seems a good car. I don't know why people want diesel engines over 90-100 PS, Maruti is a champion when it comes to utilizing power and torque even with the lowest figures on paper. Ashish also talks about the fact that the steel used by Maruti here is of a newer generation and has lighter weight as well as stronger build. Lets wait for sometime, this car has a lot to offer!

Planning to buy a car under 15L rs. Got super confused between Ciaz/Verna/City. We need top model Diesel variant. With City I have heard about the not good engine as compared to its petrol variant.
