Believe me My friend's Baleno Petrol Zeta gives amazingly
30. 2 km/l total average at 60-80 km/h speed in approx 150 km trip without ac. I couldn't believe but true.

Baleno is the best option in petrol in the premium hatchback segment, as he said its a feel good car assures peace of mind ..excellent space, mileage , airconditioning, interior and exterior styling,infotainment, projector lights, and the suspension is also being revised... also a stable car in cruising speeds, handles great...safest car in the segment wth new technology wth reduced weight, low weight doesnt compromise safety but adds on the safety, 4 star crash test rating..... apart from that low spare part cost and good service adds to it...go for it ..

I moved to Delhi from Mumbai with my 8year old Tata Indica Turbo in March. I did 1 stop (At Udaipur) journey from Mumbai to Delhi at constant speed of 60-70kmph in March (considerably hot summer). It returned me 26kmpl despite having stuck in Traffic at Bharuch due to bridge work.
I am constantly in a hunt to find and visit a hill station and your travelogues helped me alot. thanks again.

Hi Friends... i bought the Baleno Alpha Petrol after having waited for 5 months in a row and to my delight yes it was worth it. Its been a month that i am driving it and its an absolute pleasure to own it.
I have tread around 3000 kms in the last 4 weeks including 2 long road trips and trust me i agree with Ashish. The vehicles handling on the sharp curves of hills offers accurate control. The suspension does very well. The acceleration even on up-slope was smooth. I love the lighting features of the vehicle- Under the doors, at leg space, Glove box and luggage compartment. The AC is superb with efficient cooling. I use this vehicle for my daily office driving and cover around 50 kms of city and suburban area around Hyderabad and have been getting average of around 18-19 kmpl.
I read somebody saying about the suspension and the noice. Answering to that i would like mention that when i got the vehicle delivered the wheels were pushed air upto 42 PSI and hence the wheels used to give a thud like noise even on small speed breakers or stone encountered on the high ways. And when i used the vehicle with PSI of 32-35 the noise reduced considerably.
Further, i would like to share my first hand on experience regarding the top speed of the vehicle. The vehicle responds very well upto the speeds of 80-90 kmph but when i try to push the vehicle to speeds above 110-120 but i feel as if the vehicle isn't able to take the grind. It lacks a push there. Has anybody else felt the same?

Congratulations for you new car. Wanted to ask about the visibility from the windscreen. I took a test drive and being 6 footer found it difficult to have a proper view of the road. Also the mirror was a hindrance. How has been your experience with that

guys I bought Baleno petrol , Delta blue 2 months back and let me tell you that am extremely happy with the overall package. the biggest standout point of baleno is the supreme size and look both interior and exteriors.you wil never feel it's just a hatchback..while driving and sitting Inside the car , it feels big like a sedan...

Vinayak Jeevangi it's not a problem .. people always tell me it's comfortable.
Parwez Alam suspension of the earlier models had some issues and Suzuki was quick to change the suspension for old models, even I got a replacement. newer models from 2017 onwards has no problem at all. its on par with the latest premium hatchbacks in the market
what about the rear suspension.
Loved the video. Though you talked less about the car. Feel like going on a road trip, but there's office and work and life. A thumbs up just coz you talked about the AC of the car. I think it's one of the most important things to talk about especially here in India where the AC really matters.

Leg room is adequate at back side though under thigh support is pathetic for long journeys....

Go with elite i20 diese, Baleno is best in petrol bt not as good as elite i20 diesel, there are lots of noise inside the cabin in baleno

Thanks for your review. I just did a 1600 kms drive in my Baleno Petrol Alpha from Vrindavan to Munsyari and back via Binsar. The car performed beautifully - speeding on the Yamuna Expressway and navigating the tortuous and terrible roads up to Munsyari with equal ease.
i am using elitei20 petrol asta for 6months.its great car for city riding, nvh levels zero,top notch interior,loads of feature..only issue is steering feedbck at very high speed 120kph more...mileage decent 13 to 14 city traffic.
