The reason why The number one move is that way is because imagine a unblockable juggle combo with nasty damage coming from a game where juggle combos and regular combos have been nerfed. Plus you can't really backdash to get away from him Sense movement has been nerfed in that game

I think one of the more useful aspects of this list is how it delves into the interplay of how moves in Tekken work, or the "rules" as you called them, and how these moves represent a significant enough departure from that to be noteworthy.

Balanced games tend to give everyone a tool you’d want. Good tools being removed is a sign of an unbalanced game because someone will always get lucky in that regard compared to making sure everyone has at least one move on contention for best in the game.

I agree Just Frame Lazer Scraper is top 2, but I feel Tekken 5 Steve 3 1 1 was worse because it was literally a win the game button with no effort. Being able to step and then do it for extra movement just made it even easier to catch someone with.

      @tcbbctagain572 2 роки тому +3

Btw as far as im concerned that stance in tekken 5 only had 2 moves, 1 was basically useless the other was the infinite, so you really didn't ban multiple moves.
While for jin if you're gonna ban a string you might as well just ban the character.

Tekken 2 Bruce was busted. His strings did a lot of damage and were natural most of the time. His f 4,3,4 or b, 4,3,4 enders did insane damage because damage scaling still wasn't that much of a thing in T2. He was a beast in T2 and the redesign (replacement) into Bryan was pretty well received.

Nope number two is actually quite tricky to set up you have to hold three sway at the same time then go to your left or somebody's back and if you don't do that it's counter hit only. While number one you can set up your entire game plan around one move and allows you to play mind games with another player which is totally more overpowering than just killing you on site you can literally just threats at the player and make a play lose mentally way before the game even starts

When you mentioned akuma's d2 i was surprised you didn't put the original FR arcade version where it was faster so you could literally use it as a combo filler and recovered faster on whiff

Great work, research and knowledge behind this video! Just amazing!
One of my shot, to top 3 moves it's Jin tekken 3 d/f+1~ff, d/f+1~ff... and so on, to the end.
Second i will add Lee's 1~3,3,3(JF) version move from Tekken 4.
And third i will chose, Feng SS+4 from T5(worthy to mention). xD
Best regards lads :) great work again

Yeah i was also expecting jin's d/f1 glitch to be at least in the top 10 but oh well.
And in my personal opinion lee's acid rain and feng's snake edge were broken but weren't broken enough to be in the top 10

They really need to give him a better Hairstyle Spike Like Straight Hair body size instead of Low Fat give him a Bandanna or Headband Face Resemblance similar as Ryo Hazuki & Someone better Voice and Personality no Tattoo on him he can be a Main Hero Protagonist to be Good Fighting to test his Skills caring about Others showing Good Teamwork so become a Light Character so his New Name be Jin Kaneko on Heroes Wiki & other stuff you know

IIRC, #48 (Lei 6.0 BT d+1) also became really safe on block by holding f to turn. F still turns 1 frame faster than B. I forget how safe this made it, but I think most characters couldn't launch him from it on block at least. I wish I had a T6.0 to test (and a TTT2.0 machine for that matter).

I often wonder how many moves will be exempt of any publicity due to how impractical it is to access and research the original revisions of T6, Tag 2 and T7. Hell, maybe even some specific revisions of T7 FR too.
As a Yoshi main, I hear 6.0 was where flash had it’s biggest hitbox in any Tekken so far and would love to explore how much more it could punish.

I agree with jfls as number 1. It was an insane move for a character that already had a parry, in a game heavily geared towards poking, and out side of side walking, movement was extremely limited, you couldn't get a away from anything laterally. T4 was about close combat, and plus frames if you character had them outside of jabs. What a ride!
