[One on One with Kobe Bryant] Episode 8: The Answer
Вставка

- It's possible that Allen Iverson is the most influential player in NBA history behind Michael Jordan. He changed the game, the culture, and was so iconic that other players began to dress like him on and off the court.
On the court, Iverson was one of the greatest scorers of all time, and he holds the #2 spot in all-time Playoffs PPG. While he wasn't the most efficient player, real fans know that efficiency numbers are not always that important, as Iverson was able to pull his defense-geared 76ers team to the finals in 2001 while being the sole offense.
In this episode, we're going to take a look at a few games where Kobe matched up against Iverson, ultimately showing him his own defensive abilities and limiting Iverson's effectiveness completely, so that the Lakers could pull out a narrow victory. There are several more matchups between these two legends, but this one was one of the best from a defensive standpoint.
I know it's been a long time since I made an episode, so I hope most of you are still following the channel! Feel free to share feedback or suggestions for future videos, as always, and stay tuned for the next episode of "One on One with Kobe Bryant"!

That's why A.I was mad when they left out Kobe on G.O.A.T conversation.
#TrueLegends #AI3
People love Afro Kobe because he was young, athletic and explosive. I love Afro Kobe because he was CLAMPING EVERYONE during that time. That man was on a defensive mission. He was the ultimate perimeter defender and guys HATED going against him. He was like that pebble in your shoe all day. Irritating and annoying af!
Real recognizes real 2 of the greatest competitors ever to play
Iverson destroyed kobe in finals. smh
This video why kobe is greater than lebron he went out his way to guard one of the coldest dudes in AI to ever step on the court ....lebron would never take on a challenge like that KB24 legend legend legend and so is AI who went against kobe and Shaq and even he didn’t get swept lol
AI destroyed kobe in the finals hahaha
Hillary for Prison. FeelTheBern
Lol nope
Finally another episode! I clicked so fast man wow.
Finally, my man Rahul back at it again. Glad to see u back. Love ur vids brother. Thx again for providing the context and knowledge about my favorite player/athlete of all time. Let them young folks know about the Black Mamba. I was there @ Staples for Kobe's jersey retirement. Was surprised to see AI there. I can tell you that out of all the greats and former players that were there, including Magic, Kareem, Shaq, Jerry, etc., other than Kobe, AI had the loudest ovation from the crowd, including myself. Great video of two living legends and ATG's.
AI loves the Staples Center. That's place where AI destroyed kobe in the finals hahahaha
GOATbe Bryant
A.I. no ring no champ. But HEART OF THE CHAMPION. A.I. FOREV3R
Kobe Bryant 25.1 5.5 5.5 1.2 1.0
Allen Iverson 26.6 3.7 6.4 2.1 0.3
In 38 h2h match ups between the two. A legendary career battle between two all time greats.
i always LMAO at the clip when they ask kobe "how do you feel about the matchup tonight" kobe trolling naturally(vs DEN) "oh yeah i heard they got AI" trolling melo hah i bet AI had a kick out of that one, the kind of respect the OGs had for each other
AI and kobe is the main reason why i loved watching nba back in early 2000s, kd and leflop is the reason i lost interest watching nba now.
funny thing is silver and stern love cash cows like lbj and kd, and hated AI and kobe
Your endings be on point music and all
appreciate that!
My two fav players kobe was my fav ever i watched most there match ups live
Finally!! Love all your videos, thanks for your hard work!!
Nice series bro! And nice intro on AI, educate the kids!
Black Mamba and the Answer!!! 2 great competitors, 2 hall of famers battle it out in there respective careers!
YES another episode! Make them longer bro!
Love the videos man. I watch them over and over. Love the stories to add to the memories of watching the games growing up
Keep this series up bro🔥🔥
I love this series
Make more of these videos, great work.
D@mn , Kobe is so satisfied.
True greatness is acheived through true passion for the game
finally you come back
Great video man, great topic. so many players today are missing Kobe's obsessiveness over the game. Hell they dont even come close
People don’t put defense as a statistic when comparing people as goat a lot of times but that’s why Kobe is over lebron and magic to me.
Legendary handles 🙌
Even tho I'm not a Kobe fan, this is a nice series.
KOBE =GOAT
KOBE! KOBE! KOBE!
kobe gave you 27/6/6 in year 17......let that marinate
With a prime Dwight, Pau and Nash.
prime dwight? and Nash??? LMFAO Dwight had injuries before he even got to LA and nash was on his last leg in his career when he got to LA and went there as a last ditch effort to get another ring.
Hillary for Prison. FeelTheBern lol prime?
I had a pair of AI's n 7th grade and still have my AI 76er jersey to thus day got that n high school
🔥asf
If anyone out there knows why AI wasn't in the picture with the 1996 draft class, please let me know.
It's the famous poster with KB, SN, JON, RA, AW, SM, etc. against a brick background. Was a poster from SLAM magazine.
good question. I have no idea
because he was the best talent back there in that time and he knows that, so he won't bother to take a picture with a bunch of not so great talents. I mean, iverson is the best offensive talent back then and he knows that
Song at 8:46 please ???
Top five Sg in league history
Wait, this seems similar to previous episodes
I'm not sure what you mean by that, because this is the first time I'm bringing up AI.
so what if we never got our "kobe vs lebron" finals........we had our mamba and the answer.
J watch his feet 😮
Dude, you can't compare Lebron's 1st season with AI's. Lebron was 18. AI was 21. When Lebron was 21, he averaged 31-7-6 on 48% shooting. C'mon man. But everything about Kobe is legit on this channel.
