I enjoyed watching this video last night. I made up 3 batches of dough this morning, let them sit, and am now rolling it out in my pasta machine. I’ve had this machine since the summer, but never took it out of the box until today. The kids think it’s cool. They’re watching me as they do their schoolwork at the table (homeschoolers).
We are in Canada. Durum wheat is grown here as a "pasta" wheat. My wife enjoys your cooking shows. I enjoy watching your "farm" shows. Keep making videos when you have time. 😊
Hello Ronda! We just recently found your channels and are really enjoying the videos! We are a family farm located in central Iowa and we share our life on UA-cam as well! I am a 13 year old girl and I run our UA-cam channel! We love to cook as well and we make noodles in a very similar way that you do! One of our favorite ways to use the noodles is in homemade chicken and noodles! We enjoyed the video and are looking forward to more!
It took me WAY too long to figure out that the sign behind Mackenzie's head said, "Farmhouse." I was all like, "What in the world is a FARMH?? And, why do they want me to USE it?? How do I even use a FARMH???" I'll see myself out...hahaha
Hello Rhonda, l also make homemade noodles or dumplings what ever you want to call them. I use 2 cups ap flour, salt, a little water and sometimes one egg. I don't let it set, I just roll it all out on the table to about 1/4" and then I use a pizza cutter. Their about 1/2" x 1" give or take. After their cut I sprinkle them with four then I add them to about 6 cups of boiling chicken broth. My wife just loves them. Love the video's keep up the good work and god bless and stay safe.
Thanks for sharing this video Rhonda! I never knew how home made noodles were made. Very interesting. I bet they taste awesome. Love your channel a lot. Take Care!
There is actually a motorized attachment for rolling the pasta. I had one years ago until I started using my Kitchen Aid. New friend here, just started following you on UA-cam, great content, best of luck to both of us
I think the wider flat noodles are better the spergitti type noodle. Fun and awesome video. Hope the chicken noddle soup was good. It is definitely a good food for cold weather though. 🙂🙂
