I just recently started watching your videos. I find them very interesting. There is one thing I would like to lt you know. I make homemade lasagna on a regular basis. I make my noodles from scratch. The one thing I discovered doing this is that when using fresh undried pasta you don't have to cook the pasta. Also I roll out my pasta in sheets the size of my pan, it's just so much quicker and easier. Please keep making your videos.
I make noodles like my German granny did, just put the flour out onto a board and put the eggs in a center well and mix with your hands. i was diagnosed with Celiac 30 years ago so it was a good thing I had this skill because you could not buy noodles in a store. I make mine out of rice and tapioca flour with some xanthan gum (adds stretch because of no gluten) After i cut mine I lay them on a cookie sheet in the freezer and when they are hard I bag them up. They cook in only 3 minutes from frozen.
Becky, this is how much I love your videos. I can’t eat gluten AND I am keto, so I will never in my life make pasta, but I still watched this video and loved it. Good work!
I love making it and sometimes I put a scoop of hot pepper spread{the kind you put on Italian subs} into the dough and that makes really great tasting pasta. Sometimes i add roasted red peppers to my dough that i have pureed in the food processor, It makes the noodles a beautiful orange color and adds wonderful flavor to the pasta.

Thank you for this great video. I've been cooking all of my life but up until recently had a fear of flour. Broke out the old KitchenAid months ago and started making pizza Non-Stop and 2 days ago made my first homemade fresh pasta ever. It was amazingly wonderfully delicious. I had some questions about drying because the articles I read were very confusing for home drying but you just cleared it up. Thank you for that! Cheers!
I love making home made pasta! My grandma taught me. I am with you, I love my food processor and my noodle machine lol. I used to do it by hand but I like modern conveniences. Now I have been dehydrating and making veggies into powders. I can make my flour mixture with the powders before I start adding the flour and should still get the right consistancy!
We just tried making pasta yesterday for the first time and it is amazing how everything says you cant let pasta lay out to dry because it will kill you even though grandparents, great-grandparents, etc did the exact thing and we all survived LOL Really fun watching you do it. We used 3 cups of flour and 3 eggs I think....will have to try your recipe next time!

Just made these noodles, without a noodle press...Along with the Stroganoff recipe you use. Thank you for sharing, and for the inspiration to try this. Definitely a new family favorite. 🧡
We made this pasta for the pantry challenge, and we linked your video in the description as our inspiration. We decided to kick it up and also make homemade RAVIOLIS and they were AWESOME! 🧡 Fresh pasta is amazing. Since we made several batches, we were also able to freeze the leftover raviolis, which made meal prepping so much easier. Thank you so much for sharing your videos.
This is a fabulous video, I have the same set of attachments, and have only used them once because I had NO idea what I was doing, and it was a huge mess lol Thank you!
I love milling my own flour into an all purpose flour That fluffs the flour automatic. It also after sifting leaves me with the hull fiber to use in other recipes. It’s the grain fibers. Can be used in whole grain and flax muffins and add nuts ! You can make nutritious bars by adding honey etc.
I love homemade pasta and make it for my family too. I find pasta lasts even longer, better quality if stored in glass. I save and have family save their gallon pickle jars to store it in, half gallon mason jars works great too.

If you think about it adding salt is good cuz it will pull the moisture out of the pasta and make it nice and dry. And great for storing

Wow you are WAY to sweet! Thank you so much for your kind and thoughtful words!
You are just a tiny dynamo!! How do you find the energy? I bet you're the most productive dental hygenist in the office too. You motivate this middle aged gal, that's for sure🤗.
thank you!
Wow!!!! You make it look so easy. I can make that! I can't wait to try it. Ty Becky. It was good to see Josh's arm and hear his voice.
Fettuccini....you totally got this! I use the same method and its s winner!
My mother-in-law was from Italy & the family taught me to make fresh pasta. I used to make it all the time until I got older. Now I make it only on special occasions. We use the hand crank pasta machine which causes it to absorb more sauce.....delicious!
Your bubbly personality has literally m ade me feel more at ease about making homemade pasta even though to start out I'll be rolling my own. Awesome video & I just had to subscribe!!
Cheers!
I have the same Kitchen Aid pasta makler. I real love it and cherish finding time to use it. Kitchen work is gratifying and fun. Great video!
My grandma used to lay her pasta out on dish towels on top of the clothes dryer.
Becky I loved making pasta with my dad. My daughter and I get together and make it once in a while but we really should make a bunch next time.
Hi Becky, when cooking fresh pasta add a little olive oil to the boiling water, it prevents it from sticking ;) xoxo
I needed this recipie big time! Can't wait to try this recipe, I hope it works out in the hot humidity where I'm from. Lots of love from the bottom of the Caribbean lol.
Ps. Your really selling me on this cook book.
You will love it! just get it!
I soooo love all your videos, thank you for taking the time to do this
I've been debating getting the pasta rolling attachment, and you helped med make up my mind! Love your videos!

Awww my fiancé says the same thing about getting me cooking gifts. 💜
Finally someone who explains why I can't get the pasta right ever! Will definitely try again after seing this!
I’m so excited to do this! I just found your channel and I’m binge watching all of your videos. I work full time as well and ain’t nobody got time to make homemade pasta after work haha. Thanks for the video!
Awesome! Thank you! Yeah I have no energy for that after work lol
Becky, you have inspired me to try making pasta. 😋 I've been teaching myself to bake bread and English muffins, pasta is up next! Thank you for sharing your tips on what you should see and feel at each step of the process. That was how I was taught to cook.
I didn't know pasta was so easy! I'm definitely going to tray this
You can do it!

So glad to find your channel. Ive been trying to teach myself how to cook things this way as well. I love it!
I'm so glad!
Just made these noodles, without a noodle press...Along with the Stroganoff recipe you use.
Thank you for sharing, and for the inspiration to try this. Definitely a new family favorite. 🧡
Girl you are such an inspiration!! ❤️
Wow that’s so sweet to say :) thanks so much
We made this pasta for the pantry challenge, and we linked your video in the description as our inspiration. We decided to kick it up and also make homemade RAVIOLIS and they were AWESOME! 🧡 Fresh pasta is amazing. Since we made several batches, we were also able to freeze the leftover raviolis, which made meal prepping so much easier. Thank you so much for sharing your videos.
Hahaha when you came back to your boiling-over pasta, I caught myself blowing on the pot for you!! 🤣😂
So good!
This is why I love her channel…
She so real!🤗🤗🤗
😃😄😉😊 me too
Just put a wooden spoon in the pot and it will stop boiling over.
That's a great idea!
I mill my own wheat too
I am in awe of you that you work full time and can still do all that you do! Thank you for sharing with us!
I love homemade pasta and make it for my family too. I find pasta lasts even longer, better quality if stored in glass. I save and have family save their gallon pickle jars to store it in, half gallon mason jars works great too.
Oh that’s a great idea!
What a great idea! I will be doing the same thing.
How long does homemade pasta last on the shelf? Does it really last a year?
Becky, you are a natural born production worker,I know this because I am one myself. Why make only one delicious meal when you can make 5 or10? You make such good use of your time and money. Knowing you also work full-time is unbelievable!Plus you are an excellent teacher! Keep making and teaching and I'll keep learning thanks Becky.
