    Another great video, good to see you and McKenzie canning together. Not many of the younger generation get to experience this anymore. Hope you and your family are having a wonderful day. Thank you for sharing Rhonda!❤️

    That's incredible how much you put up, of course with your big family, it's necessary those apples look so good, save so much time when it's pie making time, always great how Mackenzie helps all over the farm, most of the time with that smile on her face, wonderful video

    I loved the recipe. I love to see your daughter learning to be a cook. I love Kenzie’s hair. I really liked this video. I loved to help my mama to do this when I was a little boy many years ago. The only way we had to dehydrate was to put sheets of tin outside in the sun and cover with cheese cloths to keep the birds and insects of of the fruits.

    Clearjel IS cornstarch, but modified. We like a thick "sauce" and im still learning how best to use clearjel so i will probs use 3/4c & see how that is. Thank you for recipe😊

    Hard work must keep your entire family thin even with all your amazing things to eat! The temptation would have me growing a tad, or more.

    That's a great idea. I was waiting to see what you did with the peelings and cores. When I make a pie I put the peelings and cores in a pot with a little water and let it slowly boil with a little sugar and cinnamon . Then I'll put it into a Chinois and make apple sauce.Out of 8 apples the peels and cores will make about a quart.

    Great video Rhonda and McKenzie. Looks delicious and nothing better than a homemade apple pie. Don't worry about the jar falling over we all have done it more than once 🤣🤣🤣🤣. Take care and have a blessed weekend and Happy Halloween to you all and I'll see you on your next video.

    Looks delicious!!! Mackenzie had a lot of cranking/turning to do on the peeler/corer. I betcha Sanders could figure out a way to speed up that process with some kind of motor!!! (Ha!Ha!) I am not a cook or baker, but that is the first time that I have heard of a debubbler.

    Next time use an electric roaster for the final mixing they will fit better Ronda.

  • @kennethdean2417
    @kennethdean2417 3 роки тому

    Ronda;
    Basically you do the similar method that I was taught in Baking School
    We would take all the apples and put them in a huge mixing bowl and cover them with sugar to draw the juice out then we would take the juice pour it into a stock pot along with corn starch bring it up to boil the pour it all over the 🍎 but whatever way you do it I know for sure it will be so delicious and yummy
    Is Mackenzie going to taste test it before you can them? Ha Ha Ha
    Keep up the great work

    Cool apple processing machine. After 2 apples, I would probably put on an electric screwdriver instead of a crank.
