IDK what everyone on here is all up in arms about. It's an interesting way to play into our imaginations and think about the "what ifs". I've always been into alternate reality stuff, so after several minutes you had me using my imagination and sort of getting into it as if it were real. It's the same thing we do when we go to the movies. I thought it was creative and not disrespectful to Kurt. He was a public figure as well as a private, troubled human being, sadly.
Incidentally, I had looked at my concert ticket stub after he died and I was shocked to realize that I'd seen Nirvana live exactly one year to the very day before he died. I was living in the Pacific NW when that happened. I remember it like it was yesterday. I was at work, ironically just blocks from where he'd met Courtney, when I heard the breaking news that he'd died. I just stared out the window onto the streets in utter shock. Anyway, I thought this was an interesting take. Well done IMO.

Hate to say it but Kurt wouldn’t be the legend he became if he hadn’t died. Fact is Nirvana was getting ready to break up and they were never going to top Nevermind.
His solo stuff would of been awesome. I’m sure nirvana would come and go every so many years to do a album( maybe 1 or 2) and some reunion concerts
@@lilredd1838yeah but “Nirvana” and their success would’ve just been a flash in the pan that couldn’t be replicated.. when kurt died he immortalized his band and himself in rock history, if Kurt didn’t die he would’ve faded into obscurity so as he said “it’s better to burn out than to fade away”
@@grungeisdead8998 kurt was a harsh critic of his own craft and artistry, I don’t think they would fade into obscurity. Nevermind and In utero have been so influential in modern music and the way they captivated various generations shows that, I agree death immortalises but I don’t think nirvana hit their celling in music maybe commercially but they didn’t care about that anyway.

If he had not died, I wonder if Nirvana would have faded out instead of being frozen in time at its peak. I wonder if Dave Grohl would have formed Foo Fighters and if he did, I wonder if people would have accepted it.
Kurt talked about how he'd have liked to be recognised as a song writer and not just some angry, screaming guy and how he might release some acoustic songs. Maybe... Or maybe, he would have disappeared or do something like producing music for other people and avoid the spotlight. I guess we will never know, which is sad.
