It's patois. West Indian ( specifically Jamaican). In England it's also prominent (heavily influential) in big cities around west indian communities due to cultural/social links. The west Indies were part of the old British (Anglo imperialist) Empire.

The only singer is Damon Albarn, he is the one that, usually, makes the music, but they have a lot of contributors
The visuals, animations, and the creation of the band members were made by the artist Jamie Hewlett

      Which part?
From what I understand (at the beginning at least) Damon and Jamie were the main guys, the ones who did everything AND the two who are mostly credited for the creation of Gorillaz

Any Gorillaz song with a music video is a great recommendation but I’d also recommend Empire Ants and To Binge (maybe in the same video), they have the same featured artist and are two of the most beautiful songs I’ve ever heard tbh

The official singer is 2D, in the last verse, the voice is just layered.
Though, 2D is fictional, but I might as well say 2D since that's whose considered the singer, anyway.
Another character, Noodle, does background vocals sometimes, but I don't think we've heard much of her lately.

Gorillaz is made up two people, Damon Albarn and Jamie Hewlett. Albarn does the music and Hewlett does the art / animation. Albarn is the voice you hear the most on their music. Any other voice is just a featured artist.

"I´m glad I went with the lyrics video" Lyrics come up. Niah: dkhfjdsbhfcdfvbdfv????? lol. I like your reactions girl, because I think you always ask the right questions. Gorillaz is actually only Damon Albarn (music) and Jamie Hewlett (artworks). Both a bit of geniuses in their field. Damon had a quite successfull band called Blur back in the 90 ("Tender", "Beetlebum" "Coffee & TV). He also made two albums solo ("The Good, The Bad And The Queen" and "Everyday Robots"). And from what I know, he has also written a japanese opera and even got to perform it successfully in Japan. As I said, a bit of a musical genius. Any more Gorillaz? Where to start? The whole current album "Song Machine" is fire. You could start with "Strange Timez" featuring Robert Smith of The Cure, which would be another great band to pay attention to. Subbed.

You know the band on the videos, the guy with blue hair is 2D the singer, the green dude is Murdoc the bassist, the black man is Russel the drummer, and the girl is Noodle the guitarrist. They are an animated band!

When you know what I know about Saturn and how it has been secretly worshipped from the beginning of time (and actually still to this day) about the strange radio signals the come from it, the gigantic hexagonal hurricane at its North pole and it's eye shaped storm at its south pole, and the deities it has attached to it such as Kronos and satan... Not to mention the nature of a mirrored existence on either side of its rings... It makes these lyrics very interesting...

oohhh yes, possibly one of my favourite Gorillaz tracks. The band has 1 lead singer (the one on the chorus) and they work with way too many other artists to name them lol. Basically every song has a feature. Technically Noodle (the asian character) also sings but its done by a feature as well. If you wanna go completely different I'd say go for Dare (where Noodle sings) or if you wanna stay on the same track check out Pac Man ft Schoolboy Q

Hmm I wonder if it was the right choice for you to check the lyrics video this time.... Basically there are 3 ways of enyoing Gorillaz.
First is the song itself with lyrics for example this is basically to get an understanding of the songs deeper theme but it lacks a lot of what Gorillaz is about.
The 2nd one is basically the full album as those are not random tracks by themself they basically tell a story out of greater context.
The 3rd is the musicvideo which is not about the song itself but about the virtual band Gorillaz and it tells a story outside the song or in coalation with it as part of this story.
Each of the 3 different ways to enjoy the music might be an experience of their own but this is also what Gorillaz makes such an unique thing in the first place.
By the way I highly recommend you to look for the bands story summarys which are basically told in phases to get the idea behind the music videos.
Basically you have the bands story like a cartoon on its own and all interviews and musicvideos relate to this cartoon creating the themes of the songs and albums.
For the real world Gorillaz is basically a parody of the music industry where people tend to stick to one genre or one specific artist for no real reason often feeling to defend and praise everything they create or whats popular in this specific genre and sharing hatred against other influences. Gorillaz is basically destroying barriers featuring not one specific group or artist in the main part but connecting all genre and open your mind for the greatness of the music and if you don't like a particular song of them thats completely fine too as it is not a one dimensional genre and justb ecause you do not like it doesn't mean it is bad it just shows you have youre own taste of music which is encouraged by them as it is the goal to make you enjoy music for the music itself not because they make it but because you like it instead.
2D is the singer of Gorillaz and the only one to have a real life person connected to him with Damion Albarn the singer of the british boyband Blur other than that Gorillaz features a variety of big and no names of artists and Jamie Hewlett is the artist behind the musicvideos and look of the Gorillaz which basically rounds up everything.
From that perspective I recommend you to revisit Saturn Barz someday with the musicvideo and try to keep the musicvideos in order for the advanced experience.
My suggested next vids would be the following in this order:
19-2000 (unique funky one from the early days)
Dare (one of the unique main female voice songs)
    Dirty Harry
El Manana (as you have watched feel good inc before this vid is actually its counterpart and has high impact in the story of the band for reasons ^^)
Stylo (first plastic beach album song I recommend to you and start of a greater musicvideo story ( at least if you don't count in a bid of background story to the plastic beach via the plastic beach visualizer that is spoiling some stuff for the 2nd vid as well as giving insight in some background to it as well)
On Melancholy Hill (followup to stylo)
Rhinstone eyes (folowup to on Melancholy Hill but only available as story board version during cut budget for it but fear not there is an animated version for it done by a fand that invested 6 years to make it possible and it is really really freaking good!)
With those vids above we end Phase 3 of the bands storyline the plastic beach storyline is not over yet but will be featured during The last chord literaly years later and after a series of other stuff happening.
Meanwhile Saturn Barz and Strombolite will happen followed by Humility, Tranz and a few more songs until we get back to the song mashine album where you experience lots of different episodes seamingly unrelated to each other if you are not aware of the backgroundstory of the band that is. You have allready seen the 7nth episode of it pink phantom but at least episode 1( momentary bliss), 3( Aries), 5(Pac Man), and 9 are recommended while 8(Pagan) functions basically as introduction to 9 which is the last chord i mentioned earlier.
From the musicvideos and the bands story this is so far the major idea behind all of that except we basically skip Episode 2 Desolé that is a big thing band story wise but not as clear without context.
There is lots more to actually check out and as suggested earlier you should watch one of the band story explanations that give you so much more insight in the musicvideos and their meaning.
Would really like to see more of you in the future and of course you can skip stuf between or watch it on youre own if you are interested just for deeper understanding.

Why on earth would you react to a Gorillaz song WITHOUT THE VIDEO??? Especially after your wonderful pink phantom reaction. This song and video is AMAZING!!!! It also comes in VR format so you can watch this video IN VR AS IT SURROUNDS you visually in a way that has never been done before! By buying a $20 headset for your iphone. Ridiculously cheap. After you see how much effort was put into the video you must be ashamed of this reaction!! Sorry! I love your reactions and just want you to see this as it was meant to be seen!
