Knowing the Khan, he probably spent the last 10k years memorizing the entire webway so he can make his sons EVEN FASTER.
I can't imagine moving faster than faster than light.
Jaghatai: *teleports behind all of chaos* nothin perssonel , kid...
I like the idea that his empowered warp power is something akin to a temporal field. He doesn’t speed up, he just slows everyone else down.
@@montgomerym5407 since he specializes in raiding and misdirection a power where his movements are blurred, almost like the way agents move in the matrix, or a mirror image spell duplication illusion type power (like the D&D spell).
You have to question, if he knew enough of the webway why didnt he come out of it and help?
@@davidburnett5049 I think they have always said time works weirdly in the webway so for him it could have been only moments since entering.
I gotta say the khan returning would be a good middle voice of reason between the lion and roboute
meh...I bet Dorn returns first. Fulgrim before that.
My thoughts exactly. I want Leman to return next, but that would be chaos.
@@TheChuckfuc Leman is liked too much by the player base. He is too "precious" for the current situation. When Bobby G. and the Lion will have their moment, and they will, someone a little more "sober" will be needed. I think Dorn would fit quite nicely.
The Khan has definitely grown in popularity with the HH novels. Guy is a stud, but he doesn't flaunt it. There's no arrogance or desire to prove himself. He's usually underestimated because of his upbringing on Chogoris. You could argue that the Khan is one of the most level headed primarchs. Plus, if Fulgrim comes back then I want to see Jaghatai finally thrown down and back up his comment when they were on Ullanor. With Fulgrim being a Slaanesh demon prince, Jaghatai's comment about Fulgrim treating their duel as a game rings even more true!
That’s exactly what I thought aswell
A funny joke that I heard of about if the Khan was to return is that he comes through in a Webbway portal, and he holds up the bell of Saint Gerstol that trazyn threw into the web way back during the 13th black crusade, and then says “OK, who threw this at me”
That would be perfect!
"Asdrubael Vect you say?"
"Let's make a small visit then..."
Always excited to hear about the khan. I feel he gets forgotten too much
Lore accurate lol
That’s the point. And lore accurate
Very lore accurate.
#AlwaysForget
The next primarch to return should be one that stood their ground on Terra against the traitors during the Heresy. This would add a dynamic that is currently not present as both Guilliman and Johnson carry guilt that they did not reach Terra in time to aid their father. A brother that could hold the moral high ground of defending the Emperor on Terra would make for a better mix than if The Wolf or Corax returned next. The Warhawk would wield that card as well as he wields any sword.
Best part is how passively he'd weild it. Both Guilliman and Johnson would know it, and Khan would know they've thought about it. But he would never mention it, wouldn't need to. Just using it to add weight to his influence, without ever boasting.
This ^
Ive never actually pictured that with the khan. I most likely see Rogal holding that against Gman and the lion but the khan? I dont think he would need to mention it to both the lion and RG. The realisation would probably sink in without the khan rubbing it in their faces.
@@ivylt1274 same. That he never boasts is a key facet of his character
@@tylercrissman847 the funny part is, If he does point it out, it would probably hit a nerve with both his brothers. Knowing how savage the khan is with how he expresses himself.
Also if Vashtor is breaking into the webway, maybe that's how he gets out.
And possibly Ferrus Mannus' soul is stuck in the Webway as well.
Ferrus soul isn't stuck in the webway, it's leading the Legion if the Damned
@@tylercrissman847 yeah that’s what I remember as well
@@tylercrissman847 i don't think thats been confirmed
@@justinkyp I believe it was hinted at in one of the Heresy books where the Emperor was leading a strange force of marines alongside his custodes in the webway and it was rumoured that one of these strange marines that was leading the rest was Ferrus Mannus. Can’t remember exactly which book it was hinted in but for now I say it’s just a rumour until GW releases more info
I expected them to go with Leman Russ as the next primarch but given how the Arks of Omen ended, I too feel they're setting up Jaghatai being the next one to return.
arent they both in the warp?
@@adamlouis3725 No. Leman is in the warp. Jaghatai went in the webway to chase after some Dark Eldar
I hope we finally get the Warhawk vs Fulgrim. I would love to see the Khan keep his word, But what do you guys think?
Well Jaghatai was able to mutual kill daemon Mortarion.
Roboute bs Mortarion … makes some sense
Lion taking on Angron? Makes sense
Jaghatai vs Dawmon Fulgrim … tbh I don’t see anyone of the loyalists handling Daemon Fulgrim except Shadow Corax.
@@gavinminty4974 Corax Is too busy going after Lorgar and besides it wouldn't much sense.
Won't happen. Fulgrim will survive.
@@cegesh1459 Yeah, I know that. Did you think I was talking about killing Fulgrim permanently?
@@gavinminty4974 I disagree.
Demon morty versus the Khan resulted in a mutual defeat - BUT mortarion is the one primarch who is naturally a good counter to jaghatai in that he is ‘tanky’ and all about endurance - the very fact mortarion DIDNT have a straight up victory is proof enough for me that fulgrim , who isn’t naturally balanced against the Khan, would lose
1. Cegorach was the one who switched Fulgrim and Jaghatai's destination when they were shot across space.
2. Fulgrim was the one that fell to Slaanesh instead of jaghatai.
3. Jaghatai is currently lost in the webway. No one knows the workings of the webway better than the laughing god and his followers.
4. Abaddon and Vashtorr just breached the webway at the end of the arks of omen series.
I think jaghatai ending up in the webway was entirely the laughing gods plan. He wanted an audience with jaghatai, leading the khan to himself, striking an alliance or bargain with him. I think he will use jaghatai to retrieve the final crone sword that is probably on fulgrim atm (in turn fulfilling the promised fight between the two brothers), and in return the harlequins will help jaghatai return to the Imperium and maybe even aid him in his fight against chaos.
Since the clonegrim theory will probably not go anywhere, this is the actual possible thing that might happen.
Sometimes, a character not being the most widely popular can actually make it easier to bring them back.
I can already picture the Khan telling Roboute to relax and do his best when the stress is unbearable
The laughing god would probably try to use the Warhawk to help Eldar. Not by the Khan choice.
I think bringing back the Khan would be a great way to increase the popularity of the White Scars. Which would open up the opportunity to introduce more White Scar specific models.
He better have been to the Black Library, shook hands with Cegorach, got a super badass harlequin jetbike, and possibly a harlequin honor guard as well by the time we see him again.
Bring back both snakeboy and the khan. Hopefully get some updated eldar in the bargain, or yet another primaris lieutenant more likely
We really need a new lieutenant, the current one is 3 months old ffs.
Lietenant on bike isn't a bad idea actually
I like to think that Khan is fighting the dark eldar like Jet Lee at the end of the movie The One for thousands of years
"GOTTA GO FAST" embodied in Power Armor with a touch of Dynasty Warriors??
Yes, oh yes, Khan we miss you m'lord!
Seems very early for another loyal primarch to return, when can we expect it, in less than 3 years?
I hope they step up the Primarch releases. Otherwise it could be 30 years before all of them are released. 😂
I'll be surprised if they do it more often than once every new edition. Not necessarily unpleasantly surprised, but surprised. My prediction was that this is going to be GW's strategy, the hype factory and excuse for more frequent new editions going forward - escalate the galactic threat level by bringing back, creating, and/or supercharging a big-bad, and bring a loyalist primarch back to balance it out again each time so the setting can continue.
@@jacob5700 haha, ikr, it’s cool that it takes a while but people be dying everyday without knowing which primarch returns next 😂
@@Quintus_Fontane I'm guessing we will get one traitor and one loyal primarch per edition. I'm guessing we'll get a traitor part way through 10th, and then closer to the end of 10th another loyalist and so on.
I Am Corax :D
Jaghatai would be a fine addition to our collection... but he's no Clonegrim ;D
I want Corvus Corax back. I can dream.
The Stormseer did say a Sleeper entombed in a rock: Johnson.
A White Storm upon a chariot of lightning: Jaghatai.
A Raven of Shadow: Corax.
The third is guessed because Corax has been following and attacking Lorgar around the Immaterium. Corax is described as taken on a form of shadow that allows him to kill hundreds of Word Bearers at a time, then he beats the sh*t out Lorgar. Who flees through a portal.
The khan is my favorite primarch and the scars are my favorite legion/chapter. Ive been reluctant to get into the tabletop because of the cost. but with the rules for 10th being free and if the khan comes back i will definitely be getting into it. Roommates 3D printer about to go burrrrr
My advice to you about white scars in tabletop is just be aware that ravenwing from the dark angels is basically better white scars in every way. You're gonna be playing an underdog army so have fun with the game instead of caring about wins or losses
Rogal is a 'guest' of Trazyn the infinite.
Is that a surety ?
We know Clonegrim is.
@@dwwolf4636 it's said that Trazyn has a huge figure in baroque armour.
This l believe is Rogal Dorn.after being stabbed by poisoned blades by cultists on a Black Legion ship ( as seen by Konrad Curze) his hand cut off and his Larraman organ unable to stem the poison running through his veins Trazyn appeared as he drew his last breath and pokeyballed him into a stasis cube.
If Dorn returns he dies and Trazyn doesn't give up his collections lightly.
The Khan and his legion were awesome. They were some of my favorite aspects of space wolves (their wild and free nature) the dark angels (their individuality) the salamanders (their "friendliness" for lack of a better word, and on top of that, the Khan really seemed to have his own mind during the heresy.
When Vulcan returns, I'll be there
The Khan returning will be fantastic. Be really interesting to see if Corax becomes a full psycher when he returns
He already is. Just ask Lorgar lol
I'm convinced that Fulgrim will be the next primarch to return, if only for the reason of completing the full set of all four dedicated chaos-god followers.
Then, once Slaanesh is getting involved in the lore, it should be obvious for the Eldar to get on the case.
And what better way to deal with a snake, than to set the Warhawk loose upon it?
I just want Dorn back, it would be great to see him with the emperors power fist
Khan coming back would honestly mean more chances for tension between imperium factions - i can fully see hom unifying the white scars and just going to try and kill either fulgrim, ghazghull or more dark eldar
Also his flighty nature means potentially he'll cause issues with the inquisition and other imperium factions because he never cared for that or rules.
People always forget that one of the main things g.w. does is the bring back things that are going to break into markets or bring a lot of money. The khan coming back would be huge if they wanted to do a big push into Asian markets. They could revamp the white scars get new models bringing a bunch of new Asian themed characters.
Yes! I would be so keen for this
Could not agree with you more!! I was new to 40k and out of all the books recommended SCARS and path of heaven kept popping up so I checked them out and the white scars became easily one of my favorite legions! Would love to see the Khan come back after Warhawk and the spotlight on the white scars!! They deserve some love !!
The White Scars have no model range. The chapter is just intecessors painted white. That is the reason I think Khan will be one of the last to return unless GW, by some miracle, decided to flesh out the Legion into a full blown faction with unique models. Now the Space Wolves range is both diverse and in dire need of a refresh, therefore Lemon is the next loyal Primarch to come back I assure you.
Your logic also points why it will be Jangtai …..The only models they need to do is a Khan on his Bike. I feel a new wolf line is going to take GW some time
Realistically, story-wise, its easy to bring any of them back. As you said its more a matter of how much GW feels like doing the work to refresh to model range and codex
But also if GW were to remember that white scars exist and give them a model range that would be a convenient way to slip in the Khan.
@@willwright1643 That is a fair observation. A Khan release should herald an entire range for the faction.
That could be used to his advantage, people are already a fan of the Khan, they might use him to make his whole chapter more popular so they'll buy an army and flush out the white scars to do so, their gimmick of speed is already and appealing one
I really like the idea that every primarch has to have a rival. I like that GW is focusing on giving us more loyalists. The Guilliman vs Mortarion series was good. The Lion vs Angron series is gonna be cool (I'll pay attention to UA-camrs until the new book is available as an audiobook).
For every loyalist that got launched, there had to be a traitor. Magnus is the expection to a lot of rules.
The Khan vs Fulgrim would be super convenient. GW needs to refresh the White Scars and Emperor's Children range. White Scars got shafted in terms of options in 8th and 9th, having a primarch would be a good boost. All my Noise marines are freaking pewter. They melt in my region if not air conditioned. Demon Fulgrim had a model in the 80's and is cannon alive. It would be cool to see them as the next duo.
Then we'd have all 4 Chaos Primarchs + the loyalists need more primarchs. But... Lorgar...
I predict Corax vs Lorgar at somepoint because I want my Word Bearers mega swole chad dark apostle. An evil Dark Souls boss for my Word Bearers army... delicious... it would be funny that the edgy primarch ends up a warp monstrosity. Which I cannot find the book for, if you read this far, do you know?
Actually the excerpt of Ashes of Prospero also refers to 'a shadow' that rises to the call of the Emperor's messengers. Also it refers to the other traitor Primarchs, including all four of the dedicated servants of the gods. It also refers to the 'Golden One', however. So I figure it'll be the Khan and Fulgrim next to return, followed by Lorgar and Corax.
Been waiting on the Khan since my first reading of the Last Hunt. Such a good book and wild ending
That vision also mentioned the AllFather's messengers. while i cant say for certain since my guess is based on the use of narrative shorthand i think thats a reference to Corvus, being a big raven lad now, and the All Father Odin fondness for ravens.
Depending on the date of Pandamonium it actually could be Valdor and a primarch. So Valdor is obviously the king in yellow but I'm fairly certain the the references to "Orpheus" is not talking about the king in yellow. I think that Orpheus is loyalist Alpharius working with Valdor enacting the contingency protocol Orpheus which is the alpha legion fighting chaos directly.... what are your thoughts?
He’s spent the last 10k years glazing his armor white
I hope they give the lion some time to shine. With gullimans return they gave him time to lead and was given the spotlight from books and extremely well written (and other) fanfiction appear. The lion only recently came out with his book and I think its in GW's interest to let him age before throwing another primarch at us. Personally I want loyalist fulgrim back before the Khan partially because the community has fleshed him out as extremely interesting for me
I'd love to see Jaghetai or Johnson immediately get to work on telling Guiliman to jog on and stomp all over the Inquisition in a huge civil war.
I would LOVE to see the Lion and the Khan side by side or on opposite sides meeting in the center.
maybe to balance out the cold strategic personalities robute and the lion have, they would add two primarchs with big hearts like khan and vulkan
In was watching your video last week for your list of returning primarchs. And i discarded the comment without finishing the video. But your bottom two were my top two. Khan and corvax are my 1 and 2 for returns. I think a traitor like lorgar would be our next return before the loyal return.
Hope, the white scars start being more active if that happens.
We know Corax is out there in the eye hunting Loregar. The Salamanders have collected a lot of the Relics of Vulcan. Fulgrim is a likely demon primarch, this could be very interesting.
Finger cross on this one, Jaghtai "speed freak" Khan fighting the bugs sounds so much fun
What if it was the Emperor who was choosing what primarks to bring back, that it was him that was pulling the strings of fate, to bring back the sons he needs the most now, so can enact the next bit of his plan. 10,000 years is a long time scheme and plan, plus with the power boost made easier for him to do.
I've never chosen an army, although leaning towards Ultramarines because...well they're Ultramarines. But after the Siege of Terra books, White Scars and the Khan for me!
With the Arks of Omen's ending - yeah, I think we will be lucky and get the Khan back :)
I think the White Scars's recognition just waits for a model range which could come with the Khan :)
Once I saw how the arks of omens books ended and they talked about the webway. I was delighted to think the great Kahn would be the next. If it happens, huzzah if not I just hope the stories live up to the hype.
With the ending of the Arks of Omen, it just makes sense for the Khagan to return next for the loyalists, the whole set up is in place.
At the end of Arks of Omen, doesnt Vashtorr get the thing that opens up access for the webway? Also gives a chance of him being found that way as well
It’s interesting that we could be getting two “offensive oriented” Primarchs back to back. It would have been interesting if we could have gotten Dorn next
But what is he going to FORTIFY?!
@@TKUltra971 That's easy. E V E R Y T H I N G
Dorn would be great story wise but not a good thing for the Imperium. Do you think you can get Dorn to back down from squashing the ecclesiarchy? Dorn is far too stubborn to let such a mockery of his father's ideals just be. I don't think he'd actually try to tear down all the religious stuff but he'd be vocal about his disapproval. This would only ramp up the tension and put the Imperium in a bad spot. I think they'll save him for when they need to ramp up the internal tension. The Khan plays more into this current trend of things looking up for the Imperium.
With that said, I'd LOVE to see Rogal Dorn return.
@@ryantannar5301 I’d also love to see Vulcan return too
@@TKUltra971 his FIST.
The khan is probably the most underrated Primark. I'm pretty sure he could have beaten Horace in the Horace heresy. I'm pretty sure there's actually passages saying that the lion horse and singuenius all were not sure if they could beat him in a one-on-one.
I get the business sense behind getting the more popular ones out of the way however what's going to boost a primark's popularity more than his return
I would love if it were one of the other theories - that Jaghatai found the black library and has been there the whole time
You missed the third Primarch Wolf Lord, "Asleep entombed in Rock, a white storm that rode on a chariot of lightning, a shadow rises to the call of the Allfather's messengers, a darkness that strikes within" That last one is Corvus Corax. And we know where he is.
Huge fan of the White Scars, im not into the Ultramarines or Dark Angels so im so hyped for Jaghatai to be released.
Valrak, Live from black library all chose Jaghatai as next Primarch. Space Mongolians go vrooom and I am loving it.
I'd love for them to tie him into the ynarri storyline where they recruit him to take the sword that slaanesh has
Valrak just posted a video of that. Maybe it’ll happen. But I’m still holding out for Leman next.
Rogan Dorn has been held prisoner by Perturabo for all these years.
Feel like im the only one who wants Lorgar back. The lore would be epic and Corax be in tow as well. Not my fav Primarchs but from a lore point of view this would be wild
White Scars are my favourite legion (and chapter)!
Personal theory is that the Khan is in the black library looking for a way to repair the emperor’s webway project perhaps working with Cegoratch
An Eldar influenced/modified Khan would be a cooler direction for the setting as this character was always hard to predict/read imagine the confusion of his return as an ancient Xenosed-up warrior sage.
I gotta thought for ya. And this realization, kinda shock me. Jaghatai is in the webway. Want if his reentry to the setting is in the most epic place possible. How about right smack dab in the Throne room itself!
The situation I am at a miss for, but where, we that would be great
I would love a wizened Khan rolling out of the repaired webway gate on Terra. With a chunk of his boys behind him. "how long have i been gone?"
You know, with Vashtorr now having a way to go in and out of the Webway at will, it certainly does open a door for the Khan returning
I think this is a pure business decision. Dorn and Russ are the two most popular ones left. I can't decide if they'll intersperse Vulkan, Khan, and Corax to build excitement in between Dorn and Russ, or just dump them off at the end.
The Khan is going to go nuts, when he finds out The red corsairs done to his planet, But what do you guys think?
A 10,000 year-old wise Khan would be a very interesting character would contrast with the existing primarchs... but Vulkan can also fill that role.
They could pull a fast one on everyone and bring back Leman and the Khan for the loyalist, while Lorgar and Fulgrim for the traitors.
"lets just jump right in" proceeds to provide exposition for 5 minutes straight before staring the video XD
I’ve been a fan of 40k for well over a decade at this point and honestly hold it as my favourite sci fi universe. The Horus heresy series was brilliant in giving life to the ‘myths and legends’ that took place 10,000 years before the current time line. But now we suddenly have super space marines that were always there but only a character we never heard of knew about them. AWOL primarchs are returning in relative droves and there is even a new chaos god on the horizon. Sounds like a dream come true sounds like everything a long term fan has kinda been waiting for right? 🤔
In regards to Rogal Dorn, it’s possible the narrative could be moving towards a siege of terra round 2, but this time with the tyranids and chaos (and possible Ghazghkull and the orks) competing for the right to consume Terra. However, this could be the moment Rogal Dorn has longed for. A chance to regain his honour by successfully defending his father, saving Terra and proving he is the master of defence.
Corax next following Fulgrim and then Lorgar.
The end of Arks of Omen really made the Khan’s return so much more likely. Russ was the clear favorite for me for the loyalists prior to it. Fulgrim is the most likely period.
Kahn will probably show up last at the last minute, on accident. Being all like, "I was just doing a milk run."
Dorn will probably return as an agent of chaos.
Jaghatai learn about what happened.
Jaghatai: " ......... I got to get back home now "
I am waiting for vulkan like a mad man but Jhagatai or Dorn are up there in my list specially Jhagatai
Khan is my favourite. I love the notion of absolute unfiltered logic. But considering the tyranids and the new gods arising I would love another return. I would love to see one or both of the lost primarchs to appear. With or without a legion… A move like this would shake not only the lore but literally the foundation of potential alliances between the various factions… I was always wonder what crime could be so great for the emperor to erase any record about them and their legion, and I think there are two possible scenarios. 1. The primarch showed loyalty to his legion instead of the emperor (there is the hint of the angel’s fear). 2. He discovered, understood, and used the webway.
I can see during returning now with the leaders of the forgotten empire running the empire that he sacrificed and protected while they let their nature get the better of their sense of duty
YES
A stoic and confident but reasonable primarch to counter the evil chaotic and malicious fulgrim would be one hell of a battle.
If the great Kahn returns it would be an awesome development
Jaghatai is awesome. This would be great. Him or Corax. Or both.
With the Hive Mind on the attack, the Khan would be a fantastic counter to the threat, hard lightening strikes a master of misdirection and rapid warfare in all its forms able to bleed the foe by death by a thousand cuts. He could in all likely hood arrive in time and stem the thrust of the Tyranids if he was to appear. Not saying that's how it will happen but imagine for a moment The Lion fighting in Nihalus against the 13th Black Crusade, Guliman conducting a hundred wars at once perhaps confronting the Silent King. Someone hast to stand in the way of Leviathan and blunt it without taking losses so the hive mind is weakened as it attacks from all sides, The Khan is proactive, he would strike out and likely he would win but who knows where he is at the moment. If he did return he would likely do so laughing in the face of death as he always has done.
Volkan, he would help calm the head strong lion and Robute.
Tinfoil Valrak also said that the khan will be the next loyalist to return. My bet is on him especially now that Vashthor has all the relics and could enter the webway.
The Keshig approve this action.
If we get Dorn or The Khan im happy either way, two favorite primarchs
I think Rogal Dorn showing up next would bring too much order and organisation to the Imperium forces vs Chaos, what with Roboute also being there already. It would be good for the Imperium, but possibly not narratively. Rehashing Roboute and Rogal's past conflict may be redundant with the Scouring novels in the future.
I feel with the conclusion of Arks of Omen we could be closer to this than we think
This has got Alpha Legion written all over it
Khan: I am backuru from da warp... Fulgrim?
Fulgrim: Jagagay you are back swetie, wanna join me in my pleasure palace? Wait what is that on your hand.
Khan: I have cutted your noodle you filthy snakeru.
Fulgrim: And I called Morty crazy for telling me never to face a returning loyalist.
So far 3 UA-camrs all make a Jaghatai returning video on the same day.
as an imperial fist i really hope we seen dorne again soon but i also just want all the loyalist primarchs eventually but i just dont see dorne without also getting perty out of his 10000 year sulk as well personally which i dont see till after fulgrim
Clonegrim is the next big P I want to come back, storyline would be great!
I got a question somewhat related to the topic of this video, How many years should the community expect to wait before another big lore event ( think Gman and Lion's return ) occurs ? 3-5 years ?
I’ve been thinking about this a lot recently as well. Since it feels like this recent incursion into the webway by Vash and Abbie could spark the return of the Khan. However that does feel like too much focus on the Imperium and Chaos. They may ramp up the big events a bit(1-2yrs), and if they do then hopefully the Xenos get their time in the sun.
It would make sense for them to give some more big events clustered together right now from a marketing standpoint, because the franchise is beginning to grow larger now with the inclusion of new fans. With the Cavil shows/movies, I think they will see an influx of new fans. This is all just speculation of course.
It's usually been 3ish years. I can see that bring ramped up to every 2.
Primarchs make a sh*t ton of money
He needs to be riding an eldari jet bike and some wraith one weaponry from his time in the webway. Could he be the living avatar of the laughing god? I think the emperor shackled souls fragments of the former eldari pantheon in creating the primarchs. He is also the only character we know that is all about laughing and bringing joy to battle.
He is my absolute favourite! İ hope he is the next one.
We know Chaos is tunneling into the Webway, where the Khan is possibly hanging out. The inquisitor at the end wonders why the Eldar aren't helping stop them, could be they're getting the Khan.
