@@gogglebox2456 No, the Lion heard of Guillimans return, but as far as we know, Robute is busy and thinks all his brothers are long gone. I think his reaction will be even better because he has gotten used to thinking he is all alone
He is fighting Leviathan, I bet the reunion will be the Lion showing up to save the day, bodying some super character 'nid. The Lion will have some dope line about how one of them was raised to be the beacon, the promise of the crusade. While the other was raised in the darkness, the slayer of nightmares who seek to smother the light. After pulling Rowboat to his feet and the position saved by reinforcing Dark Angels in both crusade era and indomitus era panoply. The Lion will proceed to put his helm back on and charge off.
I don't buy it... Any Dark Angels field trip destination would kept as top top top top top secret to every person on board, on the rock... and anywhere else, really... NO EXCEPTIONS not even the lion can be risked with the knowledge!!! I guess the ship just rockets through space aimlessly, and the closest planet to where they happen to run out of fuel must have been the destination the whole time.... and none could have anticipated their arrival, not even themselves!!! GOD TIER OBFUSCATION ENGAGED!!
Would be funny if the High Lords came in then were greeted with a fog machine and light show with music as the Lion just descends from the ceiling on wires like the fucking Undertaker
I think there will be suspicion and doubt of the Lion, that is until he gathers his entire legion not just the OG Dark Angels but every single sub chapter with a very public display of swearing fealty to the Lion and the Emperor. Dante one of the most respected space marines took the knee on meeting the Lion. Whilst he won’t follow the Lion blindly, he and the Blood Angels will support the Lion, both chapters have been called the Angels of death, and with the Dark Angels and Blood Angels together the imperium will accept the Lion, otherwise it will be civil war that mankind would not survive.
I think jhagatai is next. In the wolftime novel there is a comment where the stormcaller, the wolves chief librarian not this proper title. Mentions that there were rumors of the lions return and jhagatai riding over Cadia. He was right about one of the two so far.
When was it stated that the custodes know of Imperium Secundus? Also the Lion needs to humble the Inquisition alongside the sons of Dorn and Russ. That storyline has been stagnant for far to long.
I love the timing of this video, Im reading the dark City trilogy and re-reading the watchers of the throne duology and to be honest I feel like that will be the tipping point for Imperium schism. A 2nd primarch returning will represent a TRUE loss of power for the high lords. It is a guarantee that they no longer will be in control and their response can only be greater than the Hexarchy Crisis. I think it would add a great element to the universe where there are anti-imperial forces that are loyal the Emperor but not chaos worshipping and not worshipping the primarchs
I feel that Gman will become the Front man as such conductiong the crusades and strengthening the areas he passes through and combating the main campaigns while the Lion with his forest walking ability may become the blade, stiking out at the smaller but more important targets, mainly chaos and those who use the webway as guilliman would never be able to keep up with such a large force and normal means of travel
I think the only Primarch's return the Custodes would wholeheartedly be welcoming without reservations is Rogal Dorn's. The golden boys love the other, more stoic golden boy. It helps that he loves defending the imperial palace as much as they do.
I wouldn't be so sure of that. The Custodes overwhelmingly dislike the Primarchs. Constantin Valdor straight up told Rogal Dorn to his face that Sanguinius was the only one of the Primarchs he cared for.
@@BM-wf9uf Cared for. Yes. Rogal isn't someone you "like". He's someone you respect for his honesty and dedication to getting a job done. Rogal was on rather good terms with the golden banana boys.

I’d like to see a moment of weakness in gulliman as he meets the lion,The lion walks in roboute sees him a single tear trickles from his eye and the whisperd words MY BROTHER…..we finally have a chance
I hope we get them actually happy to see each other especially considering they both have felt alone since reawakening I really like the Lions answer when asked. "What I would not give for another loyal brother of mine,’ he mutters. ‘This is a heavy burden to bear alone." ‘Even Russ?’ Kai asks. The Lion thinks about it for a moment. ‘Even Russ.’
I don't see a lot of backlash or questioning, certainly not in the open. If level-headed, diplomatic, Guilliman would kill bloody Lords of Terra to cement a smooth transition, what do you think the Lion would do if questions were raised about his loyalty and commitment to the Imperium? 🤨 To say heads would roll while he cleans house would be a great understatement. He may be more mellow and forgiving in his obvious maturity, but he will not abide any notion raised that he was a traitor or heretic, whether by Lords of Terra, other chapters, or even the Custodes themselves. Want to know how many of the golden boys a top-tier, warrior Primarch can kill in one fight? That's how you do it.
Ideally Lion El Johnson will be the Sword and Shield of the Imperium while Roboute Gulliman deals more with the administration and strategizing of the Imperium and its military forces.
The primarchs are not responsible for the heresy. The emperor was. There was always going to be a war to eliminate the space marines like he did the thunder warriors.
I think so far the return of the lion has been under whelming. But your right reading about his return to Terra will be fun so will seeing him talk to his brother but most of all I want too see him take back Caliban myself I can't imagine he would leave his homeworld under chaos control.
What I am still abit sad about is that Johnson has become slower and feels older without a significant increase in his mental fortitute or situational awareness. The Lion was the keenest sword on the battlefields during the crusades. Nothing but the Ten-Thousand could outmatch the singular force of the 1st and its Primarch in whatever nature the battle of the time would be. The Lion and his Legion where a singular force, brought to bear on the most horrific enemies the great crusade could offer to its finest warriors. Yes the Lion can now walk trough the warp, I dont like that one bit. Thats a abillity that should beyond doubt go to Corvus Corax when he returns. Johnson and his sons are Knights in shining armour with the minds of judges and the hearts of Lions. Men who's lives Johnson valued but was not afraid to spend, but only at the highest possible cost to the adversary. His mere presence is terrifying, almost anathema to those who would do wrong, now who would do wrong ..? The Inquisition, The Eclisiarchy, organisations that exchange human life as a currency so inflated it would baffle even Perturabo. These are the foes the 1st of old will eventually face once the Legion has been reassembled and Leviathan has been ground to dust like the Rangda in ages past. Nothing ever survived or escaped the 1st. If the 1st and its Liege wish for your eradication you will not get away, the legion has a honour roll bigger then any other to prove that you cannot hide. So Terra had better take note and get itself in order and up its efficiency levels, Johnson afterall does not suffer fools for long.
High Lords: Oh shit...which one do we follow? Militarium: Ima go with Lionel Administratum: Ima go with big G Assassinorum:....I...I'll go to Lionel... *whisphers* (and report to Gulliman if he tries anything) Miliatrum: What? Ecclisiarch: Oh my throne *ahn~* *Lionel's mind* :Dont punch the holy priesty diddler, don't punch the holy priesty diddler, don't punch the holy priesty diddler
I would see The Lion becoming the bulwark against the next Black Crusade, grinding up every Astartes he can get his hands on and standing with the Grey Knights.
I dont think The Lion will return immediately to Terra. I believe he will stay with Roboute and help clear out Imperial Nihlius and secure it. I can see Roboute and Lion to return to Terra together. What better statement to the high lords and other powerful people within the Imperium that The Primarch's are united and that they have no choice but to fall in line.
The Lion will be responsible for the emperor's return. He already has access to the portal realm, a place where he is in contact with a fragment of the emperor's soul or his avatar. We don't know the range of this forest dimension but I have a feeling the emperor is in control of it and will summon the lion when the lion has figured out the key to the emperor's return. I imagine the emperor will warn his companions before the lions arrival. Well I hope so I don't want the lion to have to fight his way into the throne room. The Lions main obstacle will be the Gman, Roboute is afraid of what the emperor has become and has been warned that the man that sat down might not be the one that rises. The Lion won't listen to Gmans Reasoning if he thinks the Emperor has set him a task. I CANNOT WAIT OMFG HURRY UP MIKE BROOKS!!!
Inquisition: Lord, there’s something untoward regarding your legion despite being formally divided into many chapters, it seems they’re avoiding scrutiny. Lion: your comments have been noted and duly ignored.
Some of the high lords (or former high lords) might try to capitalize on the presence of a second primarch by trying to use him as a figurehead for an opposition faction...
I think the population will be a bit mixed on his return. On the one hand hurray another of the Emperor´s sons has returned. But on the other hand there is a reason they say never meet your idol in real life. Gulliman brought changes to the imperium and not all of them was equally popular or welcome in the eyes of certain people. What changes will the Lion bring? Some might prefer it if the Primarchs had stayed away, that way you could still worship them, honor their deeds and follow their commands without having to actually obey them to the letter.
I'd like to read about some formal apology or interaction with Logan and the wolves from the Lion on behalf of his sons actions during the Siege of Fenris System.
The question is rather: How will the Dark Angels react. Renaming the fallen risen, finding out that parts of the Dark Angels hunted the Fallen down over 10k years. The last Novel with Cypher, where a Dark Angels Strike Team literally killed a Custodes just because he was in the way of getting to Cypher. Finding out that probably Luther still lives. After hearing all this, it could happen that we find out that the Fallen are actually mostly victims and the Dark Angels were TraItors, or at least a cabal of them. Its all possible and it will be interesting.
Well, no. The Lion started the attack on Caliban and draw this clear line - in his book one Fallen even described how the Lion cut his way through the DA who remained on Caliban. If the Fallen are mostly victims then - if you want to blame anyone but Luthor - the Lion himself is to blame. The 40k DA are a shadow of the First Legion, but they handle the Fallen problem exactly the way the Lion and the First Legion would have done it: unrelenting, secretly and crossing every line that needs to be crossed. The new Lion might not be happy with the way of the 40k DA, but they are the true sons of his former self
The Dark Angeles (and "successor chapters") will fall in line. You honestly think any of them will go against the orders of their Primarch? They'll most likely have their own issues with it, but not voice it
@@MWH12085It isn`t the first time space marines go against their Primarch. His whole story is about a third of his legion going against him. i just say most of the fallen were innocent, and the dark angels just killed a custoed in the cipher novel trying to kill cypher. Their is some alpha legion shit going on here.
@@thomask5434Did you miss the part where the vast majority of the Fallen had no idea of what Luther was up to? Clearly Luther didn't care either and was a salty bitch. Any discontent was largely Luther's doing We're not talking about Angron and the World Eaters. The Lions Primarch aura is intact and his special Primarch ability is to get people to do whatever he says. Alpha Legion? I guess you also missed the part where the Dark Angles were the only Legion that couldn't be successfully infiltrated so I seriously doubt they know anything beyond educated guessing. Abaddon basically figured out the whole fallen thing with a few educated guesses and was finally confirmed at Caliban.
I could see the Lion Forrest walking into the Throne Room, dealing with the custodes and communing with his father. He does not want fanfare, adulation, or worship as far as I can tell.
im no lore extraordinaire but i do think there is reason to believe that girlyman's and the lion's returns so close to eachother within the lore are going to be used as narrative vessels for the traitor primarchs to start actually doing something, events that eventually lead up to the return of atleast one if not more of the assumedly still alive, loyal primarchs, be it the khan or vulkan or potentially even russ or corax, etc. cause really i just dont think it makes sense to only bring back two, if only girlyman was coming back that would have made sense to me narratively but to then bring back another one but stop there when the stories of the other 5 are either completely unknown or fragmented at best. i would also just like to see more of the traitor primarchs
I don't see the Lion being in a hurry to return to Terra, especially not after the events in Lion: Son of the Forest. I see the Lion continuing to do his own thing out in Nihilus while Guilliman runs interference for him back on Terra. Guilliman's big problem has been that he can't be in two places at once - he can't both run the Imperial government _and_ be out on crusade at the same time. But the Lion doing what he does while Guilliman gives him political protection and backing? That's a potent combination.
I don’t think Custodies would trust Lion less than Guilloman, they definitely have gathered information as he got to Terra after the Siege… And don’t forget that Cowrwain (supposedly) rekindled the Astranomikon…
Just going to go out on a limb, he's going to give the spear to Sanguinius then use the emperors blood in the chalice to awaken him. I don't think that dream in arks of omen was just saying he needed to save the blood angels chapter master. I think the imperium NEEDS a holy trinity of primarchs bc let's be fair if any one chapter is the best at fighting tyrinids its blood angels, lion can suplex any of chaos champions, and Robby G. Can double down on focusing on the imperium.
I realy hope the humanity will put a real fight agains chaos, the OGs wont just throw astra militarum to die for no reason. Imagine good leadership with the resources of 40k empire. Just wow,
The ][nquistion watches everything. But in the long game they will accept Johnson and support a remade dark angels. Bit will be rocky at first but as time goes on the dark angels will prove themselves
i belive that, The Lion is a bigger threat to the high lords than Roboute, because I don't think that he will follow the codex astartes, he will probably gather all DA successor chapters as one and he is less mercyful than his brother, he is The Emperor's ultimate sanction, the exterminator.
I predict that the High Lords of Terra will stage a coup, forcing the Primarch to have them executed in an elaborate turnaround that results in them being assasasinated by the Officio Assassinorum.
There's no way the inquisition doesn't know of the dark templars, and I honestly don't see them being a big deal. As of the end of Son of the Forest, there's like what, 20 or so Fallen with him? Hardly a "Legion". And Guilliman pretty cleanly took out the corrupt high lords and now Clearly has the custodes on his side...the avenues for politicians to make trouble is very minimal. And Guilliman knew and could have a 5 minute conversation with the Custodes about the plan to have the Lion take out the traitor homeworlds.

I think i would be awesome if Gulliman was handed a report of suspicious activities in the sector the Lion emerged in to and saw hints of his brothers taktiks, causing him to go look.
*tactics
I thought guilliman already knew he was back and was kinda happy he wasn't alone
“My sons. We are going on a field trip to terra”
Russ will come back before the others , just because Space pups have their own codex where the others like Khan, Dorn are part of the main codex.
When was it stated that the custodes know of Imperium Secundus? Also the Lion needs to humble the Inquisition alongside the sons of Dorn and Russ. That storyline has been stagnant for far to long.
I think it's one of the dawn of fire books, practically the custodes says to guilliman we know and guilliman stiffens at it. Edit: it was wolf time
I think the Lion will be appointed head of the Inquisition.
Did we forget the attack the DA made on terra? I'm sure on lionels return we'll find out more about that.
I care little of how the Highlords will react
I wanna see how El Johnson reacts when he catches the Highlords stepping wrong
Heads will roll, especially if he catches them plotting against Guilliman again or worse himself.
Each 1 primarch can outsmarts the entire High Lords of Terra in even raw IQ
There's so many ways this could go. It depends on whether or not GW is in a good mood.
GW in a Good mood.... That's a hilarious one!!
They are all gonna be like : Hey bro..
he might just forest walk into the throne room, bypassing the high lords etc
Ooo could you do an overview of the Adeptus Astra Telepathica? I find them quit interesting and overlooked
Lion: May I go into see my father??
Custodies: NO!
Lion: OK, I will just go around this corner. Pay no heed the the magic forest growing there.
I think, and hope, the High Lords will try to pit the two Primarchs against each other, only to have it blow up in their face.
One looks the other in the eye and says the words ‘Imperium Secundus’
I wish Praetor Mathew were alive to see the Lion. He definitely looks like Twin Lannister with a beard.
They're like thank the emperor we got girly man. The lion would have us all for lunch.
The Emporer did trust him most but because he's the Big E he doesn't tell anyone and lies about it while Gillman and The Lion try and meet up just keep missing each other like a scooby doo hallway joke
‘This is a heavy burden to bear alone."
‘Even Russ?’ Kai asks.
The Lion thinks about it for a moment. ‘Even Russ.’
This channel deserves more love
Hey brother, loved seeing you in collaboration with the Amber King! Keep up the great work!
Militarium: Ima go with Lionel
Administratum: Ima go with big G
Assassinorum:....I...I'll go to Lionel... *whisphers* (and report to Gulliman if he tries anything)
Miliatrum: What?
Assassinorum: Nothing
Mechanicum:...Most beneficial Primarch is....Gulliman. Logic has spoken!
Sororitas: Oh my throne *ahn~*
*Meanwhile Lionel*
Lionel: I feel pride, betrayal, insult and discomfort all at the same time...
Ecclisiarch: Oh my throne *ahn~*
*Lionel's mind* :Dont punch the holy priesty diddler, don't punch the holy priesty diddler, don't punch the holy priesty diddler
I would see The Lion becoming the bulwark against the next Black Crusade, grinding up every Astartes he can get his hands on and standing with the Grey Knights.
Love the Thumbnail Rho!
Some are going to worry. Dark Angels history aside, they like there comfy lives. May find some resistance on some (Chaos influenced), planets.
Inquisition: Lord, there’s something untoward regarding your legion despite being formally divided into many chapters, it seems they’re avoiding scrutiny.
Lion: your comments have been noted and duly ignored.
I want to see the Lion fight some Tyranids.
I can't see the Custodes letting all those Unforgiven into the palace.
Some of the high lords (or former high lords) might try to capitalize on the presence of a second primarch by trying to use him as a figurehead for an opposition faction...
"This is getting out of hand, now there are two of them!"
Put papa Smurf in charge of fixing how f'd up the Inperium currently is and the the Lion rip the enemies of the Imperium apart.
Yeah, "letting Guilliman run the show" sounds exactly like what the Lion would do.... Wait... I mean the complete opposite of that....
@@nicolasberg6828 Killing custodes? Seriously?
@@thomask5434Did you miss the part where the vast majority of the Fallen had no idea of what Luther was up to? Clearly Luther didn't care either and was a salty bitch. Any discontent was largely Luther's doing
We're not talking about Angron and the World Eaters.
Just picture the scene in SW:EP1 when the separatist leaders are like "now there are 2 of them". That is what is going to happen.
The ultimate tag team shall begin
I need the meeting so badly
Its.....The Mega Powers! (90s Hulk Hogan & Randy Savage, tag team).
All returning Primarchs should travel to Terra. The audience with the Emperor will be viewed as a legitimization by the Imperium at large.
im no lore extraordinaire but i do think there is reason to believe that girlyman's and the lion's returns so close to eachother within the lore are going to be used as narrative vessels for the traitor primarchs to start actually doing something, events that eventually lead up to the return of atleast one if not more of the assumedly still alive, loyal primarchs, be it the khan or vulkan or potentially even russ or corax, etc. cause really i just dont think it makes sense to only bring back two, if only girlyman was coming back that would have made sense to me narratively but to then bring back another one but stop there when the stories of the other 5 are either completely unknown or fragmented at best. i would also just like to see more of the traitor primarchs
I wonder if he could forest walk The Rock anywhere in the galaxy, or if his newfound power has size limitations...
"EMPEROR FUCKING DAMN IT!!!"
I think custodes know what Lion dis during Heresy, and they know of the fallen for sure.
I also expect the emperor to get a massive power boost as a result of the new level of fanatical worship he would get.
Guilliman sorted out most of the HLoT during the Hexarchy, hopefully it shouldn't be too much if a issue
Bring back all of the loyal Primarchs! Clone them if necessary, make ALL of them include of the traitors, armies of them!
I just want to see how Asmodai reacts.
i wonder what would happen if the Lion found out what his chapter did on Vraks, you know screw over everyone then just leave like nothing happend
I’m sure Gman will think it’s a trick of Magnus at first
I don’t think Custodies would trust Lion less than Guilloman, they definitely have gathered information as he got to Terra after the Siege…
And don’t forget that Cowrwain (supposedly) rekindled the Astranomikon…
Where is the lore about Guilliman purge some of the high lords? I've missed this!
Administratom noted a up tick in volunteers when lion shows up so they run with it? Lol
Alternatively the Dark angles vs the monitor’s under the lion.
The DA would win that fight with ease. They could do it without the Lion let alone with him.
Good news is i cant think of any Primarch who would care less about how people in power feel about his return than El'jonson.
There are going to be scared of him the Lion is the emperor's exterminator loyalty is it's on reward
The High Lords: time to apply for another job.
Better question. How will they handle two more primarchs returning.
Just wow,
One visit from the LION, the will BEG to work with BOBBY G
In the previuous edition of the lore, it was the Dark Angels and the Space Wolves who lifted the siege of Terra. Did GW retcon that ?
Starwars " now these two of them"
The ][nquistion watches everything. But in the long game they will accept Johnson and support a remade dark angels. Bit will be rocky at first but as time goes on the dark angels will prove themselves
The real question is wat would the lion do if cypher turned up ?
Any high lords that get out of line will learn the Lion won’t give AF and he’s not Guilliman, he will make them disappear
i belive that, The Lion is a bigger threat to the high lords than Roboute, because I don't think that he will follow the codex astartes, he will probably gather all DA successor chapters as one and he is less mercyful than his brother, he is The Emperor's ultimate sanction, the exterminator.
Big G is filing reports sees a report that Big L returned. Smiles and keeps filing paperwork lol
Lion lets goooo
Could there be a second heresy? Could one of the returned Primarchs turn traitor?
I predict that the High Lords of Terra will stage a coup, forcing the Primarch to have them executed in an elaborate turnaround that results in them being assasasinated by the Officio Assassinorum.
But the Sororitas one will side with the Primarchs 'cos she's got a model so is immune to culling for quite some time.
