These missions are very hard but that's probably why I loved most of them, the replayability of these levels are a lot better than you think
Kinda neat that they tested new boost and level tweaks.
Perhaps we'll see the fruits of those test in the next game...
To be Fair , Sonic Frontiers was in itself a big test , lots of things were tried here , but i agree with you
It got me very confused where they go into their spots, so like it’s heard but not noticed. Maybe if I kept looking.

You'd think in a traditional Sonic game you'd unlock Super Sonic for completing all these challenges lol
You’d think Sonic Team would have common sense to make Super Sonic unlockable and have Tails, Amy, and Knuckles playable on all islands after completing the Final Horizon update, but instead, they chose not to do that.
And what the fuck? They didn’t even fix the pop-ins after all this time.
@@horserhimself8222 I don't remember the details but i saw in a video someone who gave an explanation why they didn't fix the pop ins
Basically because of the development process of frontiers the pop ins are almost infixable for the developpers atleast
@@horserhimself8222 It would completely break the game if he played like he did in the bosses, or they'd have to nerf him to be playable on the ground which would be underwhelming.
I can't get over how cool these stages are, they're the most fun I've had with officially made 3d Sonic levels since Generations

Love the level design in most of the levels, they did a superb job. My favorite being 4H. The gimmicks go a long way on making each level design feel unique. Also carrying flickies and finding the secret goal rings remind me of SA2 missions! Hoping next game has level design like this but with original themes and organic environments (instead of blocks).

Whoever designed the ending for 4-B deserves life in prison (yes I know it’s a skill issue I just hate the stage)
Ik in my opinion anyway I felt that 3-6 was the worst level but no the only way I could beat 4-b was to take an alternative route
The fact Cyber Space have added 360 camera control is kinda crazy now. It's like since it was harder, there needed to be some tool to help.
Also what's with this level design. It's all over the place (in a good way).

Btw did you notice that there are now 5 triangles instead of 4 asterisks? wonder what the 5th one is
Edit: the 5th triangle is for maintaining a boost during a jump
Some of these goals are a bit devious. But simply going for an S-Rank is nice and reasonable.
Nothing is too taxing though if you go for one goal at a time, and that's perfect.
The Tails race takes me back to Windy Valley

Super interesting levels overhaul, a bit jank but I love the new gameplay mechanics and the fact that the level design focuses on the Spin Dash / Power Boost / Magnet Dash. Can’t wait to see the crazy speedruns from the community!

Quick question about the trail Hologram Tails makes when he's flying: Are you able to grind on it? Because that trail look very grindable.

No, not really
Looking for animals in the middle of the level is kinda bad. Cyberspace was supposed to be about speed only
I’m pretty sure even the devs aren’t expecting you to complete all objectives with an S rank, even with all the exploits you can do.

thats why theyre replayable
you can replay the stage multiple times to get what you need
theyre not even focused on S ranks anyways cuz getting an S rank isnt a mission this time
Why do all these stages look like they were made in a cheap level maker? The layout itself if fine, but the aesthetic makes it look very cheap.
