i have had Two hr Z's and a rev up De and now i own a 335xi coupe and i can for sure tell you a Z is not faster then a 335i (Stock for Stock) those 335i's are animals bmw never really put out the real specs of the car for the simple reason to not hurt the sales on the m3..Simple mods on a 335i and u can easily make above 350whp A z can't make nothing close to that unless its turbo'ed..
I have the 06 rev up DE. after ART pipes, exsaust, plenum upgrade and a few other mods i make 320 WHEEL horse power. NA.... If you know what youre doing you can make power.

Stock for stock, this was a total surprise...............not really. Start adding bolt-ons and other mods to the equation and the Z lets stonger and stronger (up to a point where you will need a built motor for either car).

That's because BMW purposely detuned them so they don't cannibalize M3 sales. That engine is no where near it's limit on the stock turbos. Up the boost on the stock twins to 20psi and you'll easily see 400+whp/wtq.
lol? 3.0 306hp when you turn off your blockade it will do 5,3s to 100 ez and vmax around 300 lol 2006 335i ;) With a nice exhaust mod 4,5-5s no problem and v-max 315-320

Yea it'll take a $10k turbo kit on that Z to even be at the level of a FBO 335i. Catless downpipes, intercooler, stage 2 pump, DCI, and e85 tune all for a little over $1k and you got at least a 450whp/450wtq 335i. How much do you think you gotta dump into a 350z to reach those numbers?

335 is FAAAAAR more tuneable.. So no not really , the Nissan will only go so far with mods
