Definitely have to check out some these bands you mention especially the bands influenced sound wise by Poison Idea, Verbal Abuse & The Casualties. Those 3 bands I love. Great channel, love hearing new Punk music I haven't heard before.
Enjoyed the video and I will check out some of these. A lot of the stuff on Triple B sounds the same. The band on Triple B that I do still follow is Mindforce. Some of my favorites in 2023 are Chain Whip, Evil Tree, The Stools, Mutant Strain, Ryan Kidd and Death Valley Girls.
I really enjoyed Codefendants this year as well, it's a really unique album with a lot of other genres mixed in with the punk stuff. My band Solid Gold Sunday released an ep this year too if you wanna check out some street/oi from South Africa, we did a video for a song called New Direction.
Oh I agree with you. CMI is on its way to be legendary. Another one you might want to put on your radar would be Cosmic Joke. If you like Rise Against or Bad Religion, you'll love them.
Great list ! I think i give the defiant a listen,Sounds really intresting. Also cmi for me ist the band of year, saw them 2 Times couple weeks ago in Germany.....what can i say....Just massive and Casual violence is a modern Classic for me. Here are some Albums that i liked also this year Territories-colder now Diamond dogs- world serpent Stage bottles - We need each other The Uncouth - selftitled Collaps - Executor Maybe you Like Something of it. Cheers
Donno man… I am a big fan of Rancid but this album is one of their worst for me… with the exception of Tomorrow Never Comes it is nothing else but a destroying boredom.
@@thepunkrockreview I gotcha, I really would consider him more pop punk/post hardcore than emo but I could see how people could consider it emo.. and not sure unfortunately pop punk hardcore has died off a lot at least the tunes I like, deff liked the Green Day album obviously youth fountain, spiritbox, Alkaline trios releases were good, can’t swim etc but I’d have to really dig deep to find 10 really good albums that I like
Top Rock/Metal Albums of 2023 1. Memento Mori Depeche Mode 2. Hackney Diamonds The Rolling Stones (Bite my Head Off with Paul McCartney sounds like the Sex Pistols) 3. 72 Seasons Metallica 4. Chaos Horrific Cannibal Corpse 5. Times New Roman Queens of the Stone Age 6. Tomorrow Never Comes Rancid 7. Make Them Beg to Death Dying Fetus 8. But Here We Are Foo Fighters 9. Road Alice Cooper 10. One More Time Blink 182 11. Tell Me I'm Alive All Time Low 12. So Much (for) Stardust Fall Out Boy 13. Dying of Everything Obituary 14. Dark Fighter Rival Sons 15. Terrasite Cattle Decapitation Included 11 and 12 because they were high up on my album of the year list, but fell out of the top 10 when new releases were already coming out.
I was very optimistic about this album when I heard "tomorrow never comes" because I liked it very much. So perhaps my expectations were very high... Unfortunately all other songs are fillers for me. So we have different taste and that is 100% ok. But serioulsy, top3 Rancid album? So which are the other two in your opinion? @@thepunkrockreview
Love that Havoc record! The singer would be a good guest to have. He runs his own show called punk rock talk.
Oh for real? On YT? I'll definitely reach out to him then! Thanks for the heads up bro 🍕🍕🍕🍕🍕

Rancid #1 release this year for sure, besides Popperz of course :P
I almost put the Popperz album in there but I didn't want to get accused of being too biased, lol
@@thepunkrockreview understandable 😂

Menzingers, Citizen, Angeldu$t, Crime In Stereo, F*cked Up, and a single by Comeback Kid are my tops. Thanks for the list!
Man, inwas a little underwhelmed with the new Menzingers, and that really disappointed me
I'm so exited for saviours haven't been this exited for a greenday ay album since 21st century breakdown
I've never been this stoked for a Green Day record! 🍕🍕🍕🍕🍕
Youth Fountains Together in Lonesome should deff be on here
I mean, this is my list and I don't like emo very much. But you can add it to your list! What's your Top 10 this year?

The Oxys - Generation Irrelevant
I don't think I heard that one, I'll check it out 👊
When u said punk hardcore about Rifle my hears stand up and I open spotify to listen to them. They are ok! Great!
The first 3 or 4 bands I talk about fit the same mold, you should check more bands out from the list
gotta be a little quicker with no pausing😮

Really? Rancid’s new album as honorable mention? It is soo bad album man, I could listen it only once…
That is my favorite album last year by a mile. It's a Top 3 Rancid album. You don't have to agree, though. Listen to what you like, my guy 👊
