Solid list. I know you worked hard on this list but here’s some favorites of mine that I believe fit your criteria: -G.G. Allin- Always Was, Is, And Always Shall Be -Cock Sparrer- Shock Troops -Dictators- Blood Brothers -Dickies-The Incredible Shrinking Dickies -Dickies-Dawn of the Dickies -Exploding Hearts-Guitar Romantic The Fall-Live at the Witch Trials The Jam-In The City Jerry’s Kids-Is This My World? Mekons- The Quality of Mercy is not Strnen Teenage Head-S/T I love your channel. Keep up the awesome content!
As a big fan of The Fall and The Jam, I like them to be mentioned everywhere 😁, but I doubt that they would be allowed to appear on this Punk music list.
wow, only a few of my top 50 made it - Wire, The Clash, Damned, X, Bad Brains, DK's. Otherwise, I'd include No Means No, Dog Faced Hermans, The Ex & Tom Cora, Minutemen, Husker Du, Rites of Spring, Fugazi, Neurosis, Boredoms, Mission of Burma, Gang of 4, The Specials, This Heat, Patti Smith, Deftones, Big Boys, Rapeman, etc.
That's the hell of a damn good list! I immediately fell in love with Radio Birdman's music and Agent Orange and I have massive affection for Nowhere League, Dead Kennedys, The Damned and of course The Ramones. I didn't feel the first Saints album and I am definitely not in favor of Horror Punk and the bands you chose from that genre. Also I am not a great fan of The Clash, but that only depends on Joe Strummer's vocal parts. So for me, there's room for five different albums, two of them definitely by The Slits: 'Cut' and 'Return of the Giant Slits' ✌️🍻.
don't wanne sound like 'the Punk Police', some more for the list 'Sick on the Bus', Conflict, Flux Of Pink Indians, Peter, and the Test Tube Babies. Nice list great job!
I'm very sorry but London Calling by The Clash is not a punk album. It's one of the best, if not simply the best, album of the New Wave made in UK. Just listen to the songs instead of looking to the band's name or the cover photo. Give'em enough Rope is the last punk album The Clash released. After that they searched for new sounds.
NoMeansNo - Wrong and SNFU - If you Swear You'll Catch No Fish are two Canadian bands that could find a place in this list, both hugely influential worldwide And I always feel Berurier Noir 'Abracaboum' gets overlooked, though it was huge and so original in sound. Deserves a place in Best of Punk lists
I would substitute about 20 of your choices, but a hell of a lot better list than Rolling Stones. No love for Bad Religion, D.R.I., 7-seconds, cockney rejects..... I could keep going. Good list though. Kudos
This clearly different ideas of punk here, late 70s was sex pistols sham 69 damned clash to name a few then the next generation angelic upstarts the exploited crass then we had uk82 self explanatory, there is a lot of punk bands came and went and we all have opinion on them for me it was the late 70s that was the best but to each there own.

Excellent and to the point. Thanks.
Don't think that London calling or the Dropkick Murphy album fits the bill. Not punk albums by the definition that starts the video

Just my two cents, I think the list was great as presented

Bad Religion How Could Hell Be Any Worse and Cockney Rejects Greatest Hits Vol1 would be in my top 25 for sure.
Nice! Please put them in order of love though for us new to the genre. :)
That's impossible for me. I'll just keep changing the order...
I know this is a personal list but you have the Replacements but no Huskers? And where are the Minutemen?!?
Where are the Plasmatics ???
I love The Plasmatics but my favorite album is "Coup d'Etat" when they were clearly a Heavy Metal band...

Pretty good list bur missing the best punk album of the last 30 + years and IMO one of the 20 best of all time Leatherface's Mush
And... Where are The Dictators? It's punk metal, but I think that they should be here
Not really for a European people I think you listen a lot of different kind of music not just punk music 😅
You don't get to put the exploited as an honorable mention lol
Ny hardcore is not punk!
