I saw the film in the age of 15 in Wellington Theatre, TRICHY.The theatre was demolished some years ago.The song takes me back to 1970.All the songs in the film were/are melodious.
A Sparkling Melody from MSV. Brilliant use of Madhyamaavathi Raagam. Excellent use of flute. Jaladharangam for the Percussion score showcases MSV's penchant for striking Rhythms. Parallel rhythm with Jaladharangam & Tabla/Dolak is fascinating. The Sweetness of the flute and Susheela's voice compete with each other. The end result: an untiring music feast to the listeners. What a superb finish with Susheela's wonderful humming followed by a flute piece!
What a melodious tune with tabla and flute taking the song to a different height. Though the film didn't do fare well the songs were of highest quality
@@sekarcr7869 Yes Sir,. Sandhanathil Nalla Vaasam Eduthu, Sondham Eppodhum, Thaalaattu Paadi Thaayaaga vendum, Naethu Pariththa Roja all these melodies are of high quality as Highlighted by you. I very well remember, I was just studying Class II when I first listened to and got attracted towards Sandhanathil Nalla Vaasam Eduthu even without knowing who was the composer or the lyricist. Only after Vividh Bharathi came in, they used to announce the composer & lyricist name. Before that in AIR Chennai, they used to announce only the film name& singers' name.
What a great sweet song .l saw the picture in the year 1970 when I was 21years old. I fed up with the sweet songs given by yesteryear great musicians singers lyricists producers directiors. I thank them all.
