This is one of the most astounding and precious treasures to be found on UA-cam or anywhere else.

Perhaps without realizing it, Oona Chaplin made an important contribution to her husband's legacy. That is, her film footage was expertly shot. The footage is steady (as steady as one can be without a tripod), well framed and in focus.
As for Clara Haskil, it's great to see her and hear her music considering how much Chaplin admired her. Thank you for the uploads!

I REALLY hope we get to hear all of Mr. Chaplin's home reel to reel recordings in depth of his original demos and hearing him work out a song on the piano. That would be a real dream come true to see this master yet again amaze us with his talent shining through from a new angle , like we were able to enjoy with the Unknown Chaplin series.

A dear soul...Given how tragic her life and death were, it is good to see Clara Haskil in the company of dear friends (dear friends of GENIUS at that), enjoying such fleeting moments of happiness.

Why was her life tragic. I'm unfamiliar with the woman.

She spend most of her life being fairly ill and frail. Her death was utterly cruel, tragic and pointless. She was on a railroad platform and a bellhop or someone knocked her down. She died shortly afterward, not regaining consciousness. The only consolation is that it's unlikely she even knew what hit her.
