Lost my Aunt three days ago 😢 couldn't eat, couldn't sleep. They wanted to take me to the doctor, my wife refused. Thank you very much for the relief.

You actually need a doctor to treat you from mind related problems.
Chaplin and Keaton comedy are good.
But if it makes you shed tears and then your ribs ache, clearly it is not because of comedy.
      .
It simply means you are still a child and not have yet grown up to the age mentally where other people grow and behave.

It's fascinating to see how these two masters play with a very simple premise. Chaplin's performance is like a dance, with each dancer timing their moves with precision. Keaton on the other hand is pure physicality and bottled chaos, but equally as precise. Keaton's ability to take any moment of the routine and go in completely the opposite direction of what would be expected is certainly more noticeable than Chaplin's, but Chaplin played with the audience's expectations by subverting moments but inevitably leading to the outcome one is expecting. Neither one is better or worse than the other; both are masterful in their planning and execution.

I agree with you. They are true artists that perform on different levels within their genre. Each had his own unique style and are entertaining in their niche. I enjoy what they both bring to the table. Neither one could do what the other did. It's like comparing in dancing Gene Kelly to Fred Astaire, or the Nicholas Brothers. Enjoy them all, and be glad that there was such a wealth of comedic talent. The editing is extraordinary BTW.

Very funny and so clever. Buster Keaton always makes me laugh out loud. So thankful their art lives on in cinema for future generations to see what no on today can duplicate!

City Lights is still one of the funniest movies ever made, the interaction between Chaplin and the rich drunk guy gets me every time.
Buster Keaton has to be one of the most impressive people in the history of cinema, the creativity of the man when he was in charge of his own output was insane.

Charlie looks like a real tough fighter! Such a tough rival he has! The tempo speed of the fight picks up! It's gets more and more exciting! Fast playing violins really fit in nicely with pace of the movie! Can't believe Charlie gets knocked out at the end! You just can't help loving the little guy!
