Awesome video. It's mind blowing how many phenomenal hand held devices are out there now. My personal all around favorite hand held is the RG556. It's the perfect size to me. Not too big, not too small and a 5.5" 1080p AMOLED screen that hits the sweet spot for size just right. And it's so insanely enjoyable to play.
@@HandheldHorizon Lol was at the exact same place. Really wanted the Odin 2 Max Rainbow variant as my first choice and who wouldn't, it's a best in class retro emulation beast! But it's also a bit more than a bit outside what I wanted to spend for a hand held so I went with the RG556 for half the price. If the RG556 had performed poorly with PS2 I would've sent it right back and gotten the Odin 2. But I've been so happy with the 556 and the PS2 emulation is really good overall. I curl up with this thing the way people curl up with a good book, it really is that awesome. Hands down the most comfortable, best screen and best control layout I've ever experienced on a hand held.
@@HandheldHorizon Completely agree. I was 30 when I brought mine home the day it dropped. It was such a massive leap forward over the original Playstation. Playing Medal of Honor; Frontline for the first time on PS2 is still one of my all time greatest gaming experiences, I loved the original MOH on Playstation, but Frontline was on a whole other level. I'd never played anything at home so immersive before. It looked, sounded and played unlike any video game I'd ever experienced. So as a dude in my 50's playing it again on the RG556 along with all my other favorite PS2 games along with thousands of other retro console and arcade classics plus GooglePlay games all stored on this one incredible hand held is a gaming dream come true.
So... here is my setup: Miyoo A30 - Pocketable (always with me): GBA, GB, GBC, NES, SNES some PS Anbernic RG35XX-h - Bedside: PS1 RPG's, Einhander, CTR and Crash Bandicoot PSP - non-RPG PSP games PSP Go - PSP RPGs Vita - Vita games 3DS XL - 3DS games Switch - Switch games Steam Deck - indie games and some emulation (PS2, GC) Wii - hooked up to the living room TV, when having friends over (Wii Sports and Resort) PC - AAA games Great video. I think that you have to keep in mind on which platform the games were released on. A GBA game doesn't look good on a big screen and a modern(ish) PC/ Console game doesn't always work on a small one...
Super thoughtful comment. Really appreciate these kind of comments. Pretty solid handheld collection you have as well! The legion go is a handheld I could see fitting in your collection really well. The LEGO can take on many AAA games at 1200p low settings, and because of the larger screen its totally Immersive. Interesting that the A30 is your pocketable daily driver. May look into that….
@@HandheldHorizon Invest in a better mic when possible. It will pay for itself in the end and maintaining a reliably steady output will eventually get your channel traction and view counts up. That's the only tweek to your formula that I would make other than what your doing which is formalizing your process and refining your b-roll for demos. Well done.
@@Venxity01 Thank you! I recently went back and played Pokémon Platinum on my DS Lite and it’s holds up so well. I still don’t think we have a great option for DS emulation on the market. If we got one for less then $120ish I would buy in a heart beat.

Thanks! I’ve been debating getting a 556 or an AYN ODIN 2 pro. Might pull the trigger soon

Cozy gaming! So many PS2 titles I need to revisit. One of the best consoles ever made.

Loved the video. What's the name of the game you're playing on the Lenovo Legion Go?
@@guibezerra 30XX, it’s essentially a modern day megaman
Great youtube channel. Consider me influenced.
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed the vid! What’s your favorite gaming handheld?
Great video 👍, my favorite is probably the RG35 or the DS

@@Xueqs hahah I feel that. The micro has a surprisingly bright back light for being released in 2005. What games you playing?
