Good job.I love aerials.Especially juge whistling rockets with report 3 Lb'ers and up.They sound like a pterodactyl when going up.I hope to see one one day in your channel.
The trail of smoke left over on that thing looked like a smokey palmtree! Awesome work Ned Gorski! How long does it take a pro to make/assemble one of those? That thing was a real treat of hard studying and science, man! Thanks for sharing!
Because they were all end burners with two whistles on the sides. Whistle end burners have barely any thrust, at least with my experience. I've tried about 20 times, and only had one end burner rocket go up, up and away...and boy did it. I have tried but just can't replicate the one.
I wasn't able to make it to PGI this year but from the videos iv'e seen it looks really fun! Next year it is too far away so I don't think i'll be able to make it then either
If you look further down in my vids, you'll see a vid of those hoop-stabilized tourbillions. Great Machines. One motor in steel pipe, with vents in it. We enjoyed seeing them in person. They are not girandolas, though
Wow at 1st I was like wait a sec that's not a Ned firework. Nothing was happening. I didn't realize it wasn't really going yet. Then Zoom it went super high, loved the whistling then the smoke streams at the end was cool. Was that something you'd planned for?
@@nedgorski oh that's cool thanks for the reply I'm just getting started on trying to get my license I've made a few rocket's and crackers but would love to learn how to make something like that you should make a video on how to or did you already
I'm fascinated by these devices. Can anyone point me at a source that explains some of the physics behind their apparently extremely stable flight. Thanks for posting and best wishes from Panama 🇵🇦
Simply put, Jim, if you get them spinning nicely before applying vertical thrust, gyroscopic stability, as with a bicycle wheel, takes over, and stabilizes the flight.
I love your craft and more importantly, your kindness and humility. It's a joy to follow your channel.
Thanks, Travis.
A true pyro Saint, bri 🤘🐧
Meanwhile, at a Russian radar station, one of the displays is beeping.

WOW !
Nice!!!!!
In Thailand, they make huge versions of these, at least 15 feet in diameter. They sound like steam locomotives when in flight.

I like how it sounds like King Ghidora at the end
King Girandola
❤
I giggled like a schoolgirl.
I think it was an O Ring failure
Was starting to think it was just a test and it was tethered
The Hydra
Like 😎👍
sick as fuck....
Did Gandalf make this ?
(-;
Nice, except for the wind noise, and the long ass fuse.
Would have been so cool to see this at night.....
👍
Very cool! But this should have been done at night.
I want 1
Đẹp. 😁😁😁
you might need to call the FAA on that one....
Nnnnnnnnicee!
Looks like a failed rocket take off
She was one hefty 'dola, I like the go getters.
Hmm, let's see. Dry grass. Lot's of sparks and flame. High winds. Yup. Recipe for major disaster.
Naw, no disaster.
Talai
Sort of, but Talai in Thailand are a single tube motor with multiple angled vents. Sort of a hoop-stabilized large tourbillion.
@@nedgorski so crazy
