Great video. I've been making pyrotechnics since 2007 and I'll tell you getting licensed for explosives and commercial manufacturing of pyrotechnics in the United States is nearly impossible. They make it so hard with regulations most people quit before becoming licensed.
I noticed that all workers work without gloves. Is there a substance that contains gloves that is toxic to human health? What is the reason behind the lack of gloves?
*Gloves can produce static electricity, that's not something you want working with black powder or flash powder cause static can set it off like a bomb. Unless they're able to get their hands on static proof gloves they'll keep on working without em*
The cost of fireworks have become out of control. I haven't been able to afford any for the last few years. I live in an area where backyard displays on the 4th and new years will rival any public display, going on for several hours everywhere. but last week on the 4th the displays were few and far between, obviously most people are hurting cash wise. The fireworks tent that pops up in my area pretty much sells out, but this time if looked fully stocked on the evening of the 4th. Heck even our public display changed to drones due to cost.
You can actually find good prices doing group buys and shopping wholesale. If you shop early and have a local distributer you can get good deals as well. You also have to shop smart, dont buy into the gimmicks.
