what about AI integration?
I wish there was more smoother rotation. I remember manually adding the W A S D movement of a character and it was very smooth for turning but this brainbox version is very stiff and jumpy. How do you make it have smooth rotation instead of being jumpy up/left/right/down movement with WASD?

7:50 When I try to map Run to Shift, it says key modifiers are not supported. Does this mean that I can't use Ctrl, Shift, or Alt as inputs in Buildbox?

I really Like the software you Guys are awesome, I was hoping you can help me out i tried playing around with the software just started one week now i really enjoy the fbx support i tried making a character of my own and worked perfectly what i cant get around is having the character move with the fbx run animation i used a move node the character is moving but without the Animation is it possible to make the character move with the fbx if i want to make a Game like Temple run or running Games of sorts? Thanks for Your Help cheers.
I noticed that in joystick mode. the character moves faster when the joystick was at the left and right. I tried logging the vector of the joy and the highest Z can reach is 6.339 while X is 10

its a good tutorial but can you explain me why when I run, jumpe or walk are in the charakter a other charakter??
I drag it into the scene... It comes somehow but I cant see it. Camera stays with her, but no show up at all. Like invisible.

@@Ahmadnaweed786 Yeah. Change its height and width from right panel. Its there but the dimensions are so small when you add it.
@@lisamari8147 no dimensions are not the problem, because in the right panel it says empty character.
@@lisamari8147 I found the cause of the problem anyways. this problem is in the new version, 3.2.2. the older version 3.2.0 doesn't have this problem so I reinstalled that version. and its working fine.

Did something weird happen with the jump animation after you put in the brain boxes? Seems different 🤷
Dustin Does Stuff yeah noticed a weird hovering effect while jumping taking place, he didn’t specify how to fix that. Sometimes by dragging the joystick it will just make the character hover in the air, not good and needs to be fixed. In my opinion one way to fix it is to make the jump a button to press.
My 3D character is for a Temple Run style game, but I have some major issues: 1. He sinks into the ground the further he runs 2. I followed your instructions for adding a jump animation, and the main animation pauses but the jump animation doesn't appear. The jump FBX wasn't identified as belonging to the same skeleton when I dropped it into BB. The character runs through all the barriers and enemies and the game slows down immediately - please help!

yes great tutorial, but when I click on create new and than on 3d than on edit, I am zoomed in the screen. I can't click higher than start on the right side and labels on the left side.
If you're playing it on a phone and flip the phone horizontal will the game adjust ?
Unfortunately Buildbox doesn't support gyroscopic controls yet.

I have a problem when i put the .fbx i have a warning "Mesh Group1 exceeds the limit of verticies (65535)

Hi I face one problem and I need to place checkpoint to my game but that is not working it create a one more copy of the character.
That means after 4 time of restart from check point I have 4 copy of a character.
So pls help me to have checkpoint in my game. Make a video for that.

Is there an ideal size to have characters? The one I dragged it looked like Big foot - it was huge!
jigglybean I have the been having the same issues. You have to either scale you character in a 3D application or scale the object in the attribute settings for the object in BB. Good luck!

Hello buildbox team, i knowtist that when i put a joystick control and press up my character jumps how do i prevent that a just walk forward instead?
At the very, very bottom of the Platformer Mobile Controls Brainbox, it has an attribute named "Jump UI Button" with a drop down menu that has "None" and "Screen" listed as options. Select "None" and then preview your game again and see if that works. (Zack)

I followed the Steps and I ended up with multiple mashes in my scene. They Overlap each other, I can't figure out what to do in order to make only one "jen" appear in the scene. Any clues of wha to do?

How to install....BUILDBOX
i got a major bug by which i am unable to do anything in 3d world...
3d world shows the background activity(ex:desktop wallpaper, chrome screen, or any activity running behing the buildbox screen) as world colour
other than that it is just amazingly easy!
sometimes some features found missing but all over its quite very easy. i love that... and i am very much attracted to purchase the license.
but please fix this bug 🙏🏻

i just found out that the character is actually NOT invisible, hes just very very very small

You mean the way we grouped the nodes in the node maps? Those are from the Brainboxes, but we will be adding the ability to group nodes similarly in the next couple releases. (Zack)
